I want to publicly thank the guys here for always going above and beyond to serve their customers. We just had an issue late at night with a curb, which ended up with our car having a cut tire. Hobbled the car to their parking lot and left the keys and a request to replace the tire in their overnight drop box. Called the next day right at opening time and they were already working on a solution! The car was ready to go that afternoon. This is not the only time over the years that they have come in clutch in short notice situations. They are a 100% honest and trustworthy business! Thank you again and God bless.
Had a piece of glass stuck in my tire. Drove there and they got me right in, about :45 later was back on the road and was not over priced at all!!!

When we came last week to Corning to visit the museum, noticed the tire pressure had dropped on one of the tires. Considering the weather, distance and speed, was keen to have it checked. After visiting a couple of tire establishments in the city, came over to Tire World. The folks showed me the tire in question, a relatively new one, was damaged with an unusual swelling on the sidewall. While a new tire was not in stock, a delivery was scheduled for later in the day while we continued with our itinerary. When we came back to shop, the delivery and replacement happened in a short time, and we were on the road back to the city. Thank you guys!
I have always had great customer service from Tire World. And they have fixed many of my problems. They speak the truth of what they know about any issues. Good job, Tire World, for doing an excellent job every time I need you.
Finally found a local trustworthy shop to take my vehicle. Got new tires and an alignment. Cheapest rate around the area and fastest availability. I recommend going here than anywhere else.
Tire World is terrific! We came to Corning to visit the Glass Museum and arrived with a bulging sidewall, and realized we'd need a replacement before heading home. Tire World fixed us up in a jiffy - cheerfully and competently after we had visited the museum.
Excellent customer service! We were in route to TN when we hit debris on the road on I-86 just short of Exit 47 Corning and destroyed our back right tire. After installing the donut we drove to Tire World. The Continental tire on our VW Atlas was not available locally so Tire World ordered a replacement tire and , as promised, had it installed by 11 am the following day at a very reasonable cost. Thanks guys for getting us back on the road!
This place has great customer service! My wife was in a bind with a leaking tire while travelling through town alone, and they helped her immediately without hesitation. They found the issue and replaced a valve stem, and she was on her way without much delay. Thank you again!
They threw out our good tire and placed the flat in our trunk. By the time we noticed and returned to Tire World, they denied the obvious and were defensive. We had no choice but to buy another new tire and will never return there. We've already found a better option in Corning area.

I really love this place. Has an awesome sitting area to relax while your car is getting new tires. Complete with freebees, snacks, and something to drink for FREE (seems almost crazy but it's true). Along with that is the awesome customer service. The guys who put my tires on went above and beyond. The girl at the desk was super sweet and so was the girl that moved my car. I drove an hour to get there. Will make the trip again just for the awesome service ❤
I got winter tires put on my car. They failed to notify me of the metal on metal scraping that was occurring in the rear. You think they would let me know that and they saw a reason for it tell me. They did not. I find that to be negligent on there part.
Easy to get an appointment, conveniently located on Corning’s market street so there is something to do while you wait, and most importantly the service is fast, friendly, and high quality.
Had a good experience here recently when I had a car and tractor tire that needed fixing. Friendly, helpful staff and reasonable prices. I will return for sure.
I've taken my vehicles to Tire World for years. They've always treated me honestly and given good advice. I trust Jack and his crew to stand behind their work, tell me whats necessary and what's not as far as repair and service.
Tire World has always done a great job of working around my schedule to make sure my car is repaired as needed. They do professional work and are very courteous. Highly recommend!

You make it sound as if I didn't try to plan ahead for service at your shop... I didn't demand service "Right now!" as you imply... Since this encounter I have found many service centers willing to make appointments, so your lose of business.... ORIGINAL REVIEW: If your time is valuable I wouldn't waste it by giving Tire World of Corning your business. Absolutely horrible customer service. After calling yesterday to see if I could make an appointment to get my motorcycle inspected during my lunch hour I was told no appointment was needed and to just bring it in. So I shifted my lunch break to a later time to accommodate your workers lunch schedule... and I come in to find that it would be "at least half an hour" before they could look at my bike... Ok thats fine... I understand that business is unpredictable. So I ask if I could make an appointment for another day this week since I am limited on the time I can bring my bike in... and the guy at the desk tells me they wont make an appointment for a bike inspection. He proceeds to basically tell me that its not important enough to pull anyone away from a "brake job" or whatever they are working on... Well Im sorry if my bike inspection isnt making you any money, but did you ever stop to think that I might come back and give you business? Or that maybe my family member that recommended I come to you might frequent you for business? Well not any more...... never again. And I will be posting my review of your customer service on all social media/google/yellowpages outlets. Thanks for wasting my time. What I find especially funny is this quote from your webpage; "you can count on the friendly professionals from our family-owned-and-operated automotive repair and tire shop in Corning, New York, to deliver."... That's a lie.
Very nice people, work quality (for me) was bad. Ford Expedition: brakes, pad, rotors, alignment = $1000. Went back next day because car pulled, and steering wheel was crooked. Was told everything was perfect. Brakes squeal when applied in reverse. Also, had purchased tires from here earlier, and low pressure light kept coming on - was told no problem, fill w air.
Took to another garage for 2nd opinion and found: Toe/camber were way out on alignment, there was a nail in my tire, and brake pads had hard spots on them causing squeal.
So, to me, i cannot recommend.
I went to have my truck inspected back in August and it needed to have a new ball joint front brakes and a tie rod end. By the time I got nearly a mile through town the truck over heated and started steaming out the hood due to losing all the fluid from the radiator. The bottom of the radiator had been damaged in the shop. Tire world refused to fix it.Then December came the abs light had been on since after they worked on it in August so in December my passenger wheel bearing needed to be changed I fixed that as well and now into February I just changed out the brake pads and rotor and caliper on the driver side due to FAULTY installation. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE who needs car work done to stay far away from tire world.
It was an alright place. I really didn't have much to say one way or the other but I guess that itself, tells you enough. I am not saying I wouldn't use them in the future but I can say I wouldn't go out of my way to travel to Corning again. 3 out of 5 stars for me.........

I have never been turned away for a bike inspection.
I've gone to Tire World for about 10 years. I find them to be helpful, fair, honest, straightforward, and flexible. I've had some pains with vehicles, but in my experience, Tire World has never added to the hassle
They did match the dealership price though they broke the tire pressure sensor in the valve steam, told me the air temperature was what was setting it off. When I asked them what they could do for me they said nothing since if it was broken it wouldn't have kept air and the battery probably wore out.
Another tire dealership confirmed the sensor was broken not the battery as they tried to tell me.
This is essentially the only repair shop that I have gone to in more than 10 years. Jack & Chris have always been upfront, fair and accomodating. They have taken care of 5+ cars for us. I find it hard to go elsewhere.
They will match prices for tires. They will install tires you buy online or elsewhere. They do more than tires, by the way.
