Dave and crew provide top notch sales and expertise @ the Corning Advance Auto! Keep up the great work! (I literally travel an hour to this location when I I have a NAPA, an AutoZone, and a Carquest (independently owned) within 2 minutes of my home.
Would give ZERO stars if I could. The employees are lazy and don't want to do their job. Nothing but rude. Went in with part in my hand and they didn't want to help me. NAPA had no issues helping and sorcing me the part.
Have been doing business at the Corning location for all of 15years and they have gone as far as to take care of me even when it was a completely different part store that sold me whatever junk in the first place. Always good deals and good service. I will continue to shop here for all my auto part needs as will I keep sending all my family and friends here to be taken care of with the right parts the right prices and reliable friendly service.
Despite the computer systems being incorrect about what tie rod sleeve fits what in late 70s trucks, John was very helpful as always and figured out what was in stock that remedied my problem in a pinch.

This was my 2nd stop. They didn't have it anywhere, but the dude at the counter was helpful and knew stuff and even looked! 5 stars for goods knowledgeable part service!

Staff is extremely helpful, though they occasionally are understaffed for the number of customers in the store.
This place is top notch and the service is second to none and most of the time they’re the cheapest! If I have questions they help me(other places have laughed at me because of my questions), not everyone is a mechanic and they have questions. If you need car parts this is the store to go to…do not go anywhere else
Poor service when 1 is busy and 3 are standing around in back . Customers can see them chit chatting an people are standing in line to ck out or need of help. Not good having customers wait for 15 -20 minutes in line .
Saturday 9/14/19 at approximately 6:30pm I drove to their competitors A-Zone, my 1st mistake, looking for a simple snap ring to secure bearings in a wheel hub...after 10 minutes the rep at A-zone told me they didn’t have one for that vehicle...I drove straight to Advance Auto Parts on Pulteney Street it was 6:55pm and they were in the process of closing...I showed the very kind Representative the broken snap ring...he asked what vehicle...I told him a 2018 Polaris UTV...he immediately went to the parts area knowing he had to find something similar...he had a short conversation with the other Representative...that rep started researching the part on the web as the original rep searched the parts area diligently...a short time later he came out of the parts area with two different options as the 2nd rep advised me of the updated options for my particular vehicle...NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE...thank you both...the snap rings were a perfect match!!!
Just like any other parts store.....they either know what they are talking about and able to help or you get someone that is clueless. Depends on the staff that is hired at the time.
Very nice staff!!! I went there to buy a piece of PCV hose because mine was wore out. They helped check the issue and cut me a piece for free. The guys are very nice. Thanks.
Always really helpful employees! I go here if I ever need anything for my car. They even drove to another one of their locations to get a part they didn't have at their store.
