I brought a couple bracelets to have sized. At first the gentleman behind the counter said it would be a day, then asked if I need it sooner. He had them both finished in an hour. The owners seem like very honest and just very nice people. If I ever needed to buy some kind of jewelry I would go to them first.
Amazing jeweler! I have been a customer for almost 20 years. Family owned honest, pleasant staff who do fantastic work. I do not normally leave reviews but the staff goes above and beyond so I felt its deserved. Highly recommended! Also convenient location near NYS throughway and 17 - very close to North Jersey, Westchester etc.
Came here to get my wife’s rings fixed after she took a fall off a scooter, and they really took care of us. They cleaned everything up, polished the rings, and smoothed out all the rough edges — they looked brand-new again.
Recently, my wife bent the prong on her engagement ring, so we came in on a Saturday, hoping for the best. They fixed it on the spot while we waited, no hassle.
Really appreciate their service, honesty, and how they always go above and beyond. Highly recommend.

My wedding band got scraped up a few weeks ago, and my husband brought it in to be fixed and they sanded all of the prongs down since they were all too high and it came back looking and feeling perfect.
Then I recently noticed that one of the prongs on my engagement ring was bent, so we brought that in today to get fixed. They fixed it immediately and cleaned it! The guy there is so nice, and he’s also fixing my hamsa necklace for me.
Very friendly and accommodating. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and they were very resourceful at helping me navigate my options.

Apparently most of these reviews have mistaken this place for an online-only store out of Texas. I've been using Special Designs Jewelers for about a decade now and couldn't be happier. I trusted them with my wife's engagement ring and also both of our wedding bands. Their customer service is incredible, highly recommended.
I continue to do business with Special Designs Jewelers for many years now. We have always been satisfied. If they don't have what you're looking for, they will find it or even create it!! They give good advice and work quickly. I would recommend anyone to do business with the whole family there at Indian Rock.
Trust no other jewelers. I have known the twins since around 1997 when they were in Spring Valley, NY. They are fair and honest, and I don't trust anyone else but them for my stuff. I have bought engagement rings and wedding bands (2 wives), recommended friends who have also purchased them. I shopped around EVERYWHERE for quality diamond at a reasonable price. No one came close. I've purchased watches, chains, charms, rings, earrings for the wife and a host of other things. In addition, they recently took and old gold nugget my wife had and made it into a beautiful pinky ring with a heart. I will never use another jeweler unless I absolutely have to. Great family and well worth it.
Been using these folks since they opened in the Indian Rock location more then 16 years ago,I can't say enough of what a great place it is to conduct business with. Its like having a relative in the business these guys will never steer you wrong . Its very comforting to deal honest people.Its a shame such a Fair and Honorable business name is being tarnished,
This is an honest family business!! It is unfortunate that they are being mistaken for a Facebook scam page that is ripping people off-because the name is so similar to theirs. Please IGNORE any bad reviews as the negatives comment are meant for the Facebook page scammers-I too was scammed but NOT by this company, by the Facebook Scammers!
Special Designs Jewelers is the BEST! (Not to be confused with the China based Special Design Jewelers online website) This is an amazing family owned and operated business. The Shahinian family is extremely knowledgeable and kind. They go above and beyond what is expected and needed. I have purchased numerous items.. including engagement and wedding rings. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else! Thank you for being the best at what you do!
I have used Special Designs of Suffern, New York over the years and I found them to be an honest, very professional family run business. When shopping for jewery I would not hesitate to go there to purchase again.
I have been going to this jeweler for a while now and I feel that they are honest and fair and that I can trust them. I was previously going to a jeweler in the city until I found special designs in Suffern. I love that it is a family run business and I have referred a lot of people to them who love them too!
This is NOT the same company that is scamming people for the Jesus ring!! They have a similar name to that other company, but they have no affiliation with any Jesus rings and do not sell their jewelry online!
I've been a long time customer of this local jewelry shop. Kevin and Marc have always gone above and beyond to make sure every transaction goes smoothly. My husband's family have been customers for over 20 years, and there's a reason we always think of Special Designs first: they are honest and stand behind the quality of their beautiful jewelry.
I placed an order and have not received the ring I ordered. I placed an order with another company who sells this jewelry and received several orders while waiting on my 1 order from them.
Scam Facebook spread about Jesus ring. I was order April 10th haven't get it and 6 week now so I did emailed to Facebook message this person blocked shocked they are scam!
I ordered a silver and gold Jesus Ring 3/3/16 and it is now 5/17/16 and I still have not received my ring. April 27 I sent them an email asking about it and they said give it another 1-2 weeks. Well it's been way past that and nothing. I've sent them email after email after email and no response. I will not do business with them again and I promise I will spread my experience around on social media. Very bad business.
I will not ever do this again. I placed an order on March 25th and today is May 2nd. They are asking me to give them another 4'6 weeks. I don't think so. This is poor buisness practice. Very disappointed.
