I went to the AutoZone in Nanuet, and there was nobody at the front counter, and Trevor from suffern Coincidentally was in the store at the same time and offered help. He was extremely nice and extremely helpful.
incredible community service and product assistance. my family lives just down the road and had a dead battery. i was out of the area and had no way to get to their store to assist my wife. i spoke with Trevor who works at the Airmont location by phone, and he helped us by taking my purchase over the phone. He then took ten minutes, drove to my wife, and handed her the battery charger. what a great human being and wonderful community member. Auto one has great people working for them. Very satisfied with the service and quality of this business. he didn’t sell me the most expensive model, only what i needed.
I was so impressed with the customer service I received today. The representative was incredibly helpful and patient throughout our interaction. I had a terrific experience at this autozone! I took my mom to get a new headlight and the customer service was 5 star. They helped us figure out what kind of light bulb she needed then installed it for us for no cost! Trevor very quickly changed both lightbulbs in the cold!! He did a tremendous job and was a pleasure to chat with! This will be my go to store for anything car related moving forward!!
I had the best experience with Ali, store manager in this Autozone store. I went in after work at around 7:30pm without a lot of expectation because it is getting late. My car battery was dying on me and I needed a new battery. Initially, another junior staff was taking care of me, however, that staff did not give me the right battery. Then Ali stepped in and found me a right battery that not only the size is correct, but also allow me to get through the winter without a problem. He made sure my veteran discount was applied correctly. He installed the battery for me even though it is getting dark outside. He deserves a 5 star review.
10/10 service at this Autozone! I got a car battery here last summer and this year it was getting all corroded. Now I come back to try and exchange my battery which was under warranty. The manager remembered me! And found my proof of purchase even though I had no receipt, exchanged the battery, and INSTALLED IT EVEN THOUGH ITS LITERALLY 100° outside. Didn’t even complain. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Thanks ?
I was driving my family to Canada with small children at night with six hours more night driving to go and our LED headlights dimmed out on highway 87 North making driving hazardous. I drove to and arrived at this Autozone in Suffern by 9:55 pm, 5 minutes before closing. Assistant Manager Trevor helped me buy the right bulbs for our car, and despite it being just past closing time, he installed them for us in under a minute which was a lifesaver. Thank you Trevor! Thank you Autozone.
Tried to return a set of brake pads and rotors (purchased at a different store) to this location and the “manager” told me they could on lot refund me $85 less than what I originally paid for it under the explanation - that’s what the computer is telling me. Within the return window, unopened and with the original receipt. I find this totally unacceptable and will refuse to ever go back to this location.
My battery died and the roadside assistant recommended I go to AutoZone for a battery and stated they would install it too. The young man at the counter said the store was closing in 40 minutes and it was too dark outside. As I was coming in they were working on a car with the hood up. I felt like he just did not want to help me. He was extremely rude and wanted to sell me a battery only. No thanks. 2nd time they were rude to me there. Never again and I will be sure to spread the negative review with everyone I know.

They luck I am an honest man. Could have walked out with anything. Watch one dude do it alarm went off and nobody said notta. They def should atleast look more attentive when dealing with the public otherwise dishonest people will just be dishonest and walk out with stuff. Careful guys economy is rough and people don't want to pay for anything instead they feel like they can just take what's not theirs.
Yesterday I came by the store to pick up engine oil for my car. I am a younger disabled veteran and was having a health flare up that makes it hard for me to stand up and walk around. Slightly embarrassed to ask for help, I called the store from the parking lot to see if someone could bring the product out to me while I rested in the car. Ryan was immediately on top of it and put me at ease. He took great care of me and made me feel like I wasn’t being a burden. It is great to know this store is willing to make accommodations for those with disabilities. I appreciate Ryan for going above and beyond to support me when I could not do this for myself.

The people in here or so helpful, they did they best to help me figure out how to install my led lights. The guy went out his way and did way more than he should’ve. 10/10 customer service I definitely recommend going here!
The store manager was extremely nice and kind he offered to help me change my wiper, it's on older car so it took a little effort, I offered to tip him and he refused, he said its his pleasure and anytime, so thats amazing service and a manager that stands by his company and goes the extra mile. Ali, the manager, was professional, extremely helpful, honest and very helpful. I even offered him a tip for installing my new battery, but he refused. I was disappointed because he totally deserved it, but I was impressed with his honesty and integrity.
I went in for a new brake light. Customer service was awesome, they helped me find the right part, and asked if I knew how to change it. Since I didn't, Godfrey came out to my car and helped me change it. He made sure I followed all the steps so that I can do it myself next time. Car maintenance doesn't seem so overwhelming anymore... I'll definitely be back next time I need anything for my car.
