My wife and I met my daughter in Nyack. She had just arrived from Vermont and after lunch told me about a “funny sound” and asked me to check it out. It was a miracle the car made it! The ball joint had completely failed. Called several shops and Celso was the only one willing to look at it. Once I explained the situation, he got us in right away even though the shop was clearly very busy. Celso and the mechanics fixed the car in just a few hours, test drove it to make sure my daughter would be safe, and gave me a few other recommendations for her for the future even though they knew we were just visiting and they would not be getting those jobs. My daughter made it back safely that night thanks to the fast response and great work of the mechanics here. I appreciate them helping some out of town people in need. Their rates were right in line with what the job usually costs according to all searches I made. They in no way tried to take advantage of our desperate need. Thanks the Celso and the crew! You all are life savers!
Came here at 9 PM on a Friday after breaking down on highway. Was extremely lucky to see they were open late and willing to help. They promptly diagnosed and fixed the issue at a reasonable price. Very nice and honest people. Highly recommend!
I tried to take my car to get inspected here, which they said would be fast and no problem. When I arrived, two of the men walked around my car and said they’d “see” if it would pass….by circling the vehicle and eyeballing it. They told me I needed new front tires and they could give me a quote. It felt like a scam to get more money. I took it to another place immediately after and my vehicle passed with no remarks on tires. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It feels they’re trying to rip you off.
Ben and company do fantastic work. I came to Nyack Tire for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection. I wanted to save myself a trip, so I had them inspect the car, take videos and pictures, and send me a report of their findings.

One of my first experiences with Ben was when I thought my car was experiencing timing chain issues. I really couldnt figure it out myself. While on the phone he was honest and direct, being that he wanted to diagnose the car first before throwing my parts & ideas at it. He comes to find I just needed a new battery. I appreciated his knowledge and prompt service, as well as his communication with me on the phone during the process. I’ll definitely be back soon for more work.
Ben was great. He spent a lot of time scouring everywhere he could to find just the right part so that we did not have to replace the entire unit, which would have been so much more expensive. He made saving me money on the repair a priority and he always seemed happy to do it. Won't take our cars anywhere else.

My car at the Nyack tire and auto service was being fixed but the owner said he would give me a call before he started to work on my car! He then proceeded to fix the car without my consent and broke my emergency brakes!! Very unreliable auto service

Nyack tire and auto service they do quality work 4 to 5 years I’m giving both my cars always their. when ever we give cars for oil change or anything the mechanic will always check the car all fluids refills tooetc .. reasonable price he charge always the best in Rockland area
I went into Nyack tires and auto because I was worried that my tires were low and was concerned that is may not be safe and also had a noise coming from beneath the car.
As soon as I told them this they took of the tires off and checked each one. They found the source of the noise.
They advised me that the tires were safe and took a flashlight and showed me the very slight crack in the tire wheel . I do not know anything about cars so it made me feel confident to trust the owners advise as they were so trough and when they put the tires back on he took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was safe.
I asked how much I owed he said it was with no charge,
and told me to come back in a few months if things got worse.
They were so friendly and professional I will be back. Do not go anywhere else in nyack for your tires but to these gentlemen at Nyack tire and auto repair.

I had my 2008 jeep wrangler that did not go on reverse.. the owner Mr. benaj told me few options for it.. So i searched with him and found the right transmission people for the job..
Each step he called and informed me..
the job was clean and job well done... what else can I say.. will refer them for sure....

So glad I found this shop after they just opened recently. Professional service and friendly customer service at a great price. Got an appointment right away and they replaced blown out tire in <30 min. Ben, the owner, was extremely knowledgable and helpful. They have earned my business going forward.
LOVE THIS SHOP! I get my NYS Inspections done here as well as repair. They fixed my AC with a recharge (another shop wanted to charge me $642 to fix!) and now i can enjoy driving around all summer! (for $125!) Thankful that these guys diagnosed the problem properly instead of assuming my compressor was broken, costing me hundreds more! Called me throughout the process to let me know what was going on so i wasn't left hanging for answers on an estimate or what was wrong. What i didnt know was its also owned by the body shop across the street, so i killed two birds with one stone while there ; they made a later appointment for me when i had time to drop the car off again.. fixed my side mirror & door that was badly side swiped over the winter. Definitely referring to my friends and doing all of my business with them for now on.
