Went to this shop for a motor mount, did the job and after some time heard a strange vibration from car. Turn out the mechanic never put in the bolt to mount the bracket to the mount. Everytime I would drive the car the engine would lift back putting strain on transmission and cv axle. I would recommend staying far away from this place.
My 1994 mazda mpv did not start .Triple A was contacted and sent Congers towing. Tow truck showed up and Gerry the driver was extremely helpful and went beyond of what other drivers would do. I ended up towing to Congers automotive. They diagnose it and it needed a starter. I was impressed with Gio who helped me out. The price he quoted was very fair and the work was done quickly as soon as they recieved the part.
Had to have my car towed there because the clutch burned out while someone else was driving it. Dealt with them exclusively over the phone except for when I picked up the car. Professional and appropriate pricing. Edit: The clutch didn't feel quite right so I took it to my regular mechanic who informed me that all the parts were assembled correctly but "they forgot to tighten the bolts" lowered my review to 3 stars from 5
My truck had broke down 2 hours away from home and the state troopers had this towing company grab the truck and bring it to this shop. Tow truck driver was very cool and helpful but when it came to dealing with the shop it was hard to communicate with them. After finally getting in touch with them in the later afternoon Monday they told me my truck needed a whole new transmission and after that day I will be charged a “storage fee” if I didn’t get the work done. Got the truck late that night where my truck was found left in the road in a construction zone and the next day my mechanic looked under it for not even 5 minutes and told me I did not need a whole new transmission. Couldn’t say anything good about this experience except for the tow truck driver being very helpful to me to figure out where to stay for the night. And was charged a “diagnosis fee” for a diagnostic test that was false information.
I can't recommend this place any higher than to say I would never go anywhere else. The staff are all great and they are fairly priced for repairs. I have never had a complaint with a repair and I take my whole family's cars there. It's a AAA shop so I get the discount too. They even have a towing service which is how I found them. I am so happy my car broke down and they were the towing company because I found an honest auto shop,!
