Just purchased my 5th car from Select and I live 50 miles away. Why? Joel's personal integrity and 1st class product, very refreshing at a time when it seems like that has gone out of style.

So, I’m three weeks into my ownership of my used Audi Quattro TT. Within the first two weeks I get an underboost code. Bring it to a couple different shops and am told ultimately the turbo would need replacement. I’m not sure how SelectEuroCars masked this issue, but they did so very well. Car drove smoothly when first purchased, and out of no where the code comes on, then complete loss of boost kicked in. I’m now in 10,000$ worth of debt for a car I can’t even drive , and would cost half of that to fix. My advice - stay away. If you have to purchase from them buy a car under 100k so you at least apply for the lemon law. Shame on Joel and anyone who knew the situation. Be careful out here folks, God bless☀️

Recently purchased a 2016 Jetta sport from them. They made everything very easy from the test drive to the purchase. Was very happy best prices around and quality cars

Horrible experience with this dealer, I was looking at a golf R originally and they sold it the day before I was gonna go and look at it after I called and said I was gonna go look at it, then I seen a Jetta gli and just thought why not I’ll give them another chance, and the same thing happened AGAIN!!! I wouldn’t recommend this spot just from personal experience.

Joel at Select Eurocars was awesome! I had to find something new-to-me yet affordable due to recent unforseen circumstances and saw a nice Chevy Traverse on his lot that was priced super reasonably. Drove nice and was comfortable but I had some trouble getting approved at a local bank for another car. Joel looked at my credit and employment history and was very understanding of my predicament. It was late in the day and I thought he was going home after I left the lot. I get a text about an hour later telling me he found me a financing offer! I was quite impressed but it was a higher payment than I was looking for and told him my range. A couple texts back and forth later and he found me an offer comfortably in my range! This guy went above and beyond when he didn't have to. I mean, it all could have waited til the next day as far as I would have cared but Joel not only accomplished what I thought would be almost impossible but did it impressively quick! Which is great because when you're unexpectedly in need of a new vehicle immediately, finding something nice you like and can also afford can be tricky because those cars usually don't stay on the market long because they appeal to everyone else, too. Picked up the car and finalized the paperwork the next day and it was nice and clean and ready for me right up front. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves all the business he gets and it's readily apparent why he's been in business so long: quality used cars and he cares about his customers. So I hope this review garners him even more business. I don't often write reviews but Joel's customer service demands that I do if only to try to return the favor that was his customer service. I bought an Audi A3 5 months ago from this dealership and could not be happier with the service I received during the buying process as well as the customer service since. I have had a couple minor issues with the car that they addressed right away in terms of ordering the parts and getting me scheduled in a timely manner. I like that when I bring it in for service, they don't ask me to drop it off all day and the fact that when I have brought it in, they were ready and finished the jobs in the timeframe they said! I don't often write reviews but wanted to show my appreciation. I will buy a vehicle here again!

Bought a truck from their website, site unseen, as I live 500 miles away. They were very supportive - lots of pictures supplied, free Carfax, what repairs/service they did, good price and held for 30 days me to get there to pick up. Minor issues after driving away and even though no warranty they resolved without any questions. Joel (owner) was actual person I dealt with. Would buy again from them and recommend them hoghly.

By far the best garage I’ve ever been to. I bought my car there about five years ago and I’ve used it for all servicing. I couldn’t be happier! We’ll worth the drive from Trumansburg!

Waited a month to post because, hey, ya never know. Love my Jetta. I feel I was treated fairly and honestly throughout the process. Had an issue with my stereo the day after I bought it. They swapped it out for free, no questions asked. Taking it back there for regular maintenance whenever possible.

Joel and Preston are wonderful to work with. Our family has purchased several cars from them. Honest people with integrity and good information about the cars they sell. My most recent purchase came after a deer took out my previous car, also purchased through them. I am really enjoying my 2017 Toyota Highlander and the "aggressive tread" tires we negotiated at the time of purchase. It's handling this winter weather beautifully. Good mechanics, too! Nice folks. Give their inventory a good look. They don't carry loser cars! And, get the warranty!! We have used ours when needed, limiting our out of pocket dramatically!

If you are in the market for a VW or Audi or other good deals, owner and great businessman Joel Osserman will get you into a nice and clean vehicle in sometimes under an hour. I've seen it. I've always had a passion for the VW Golf, particularly the gti model, from my first vehicle, a 1987 VW Golf, to a 2002 gti, to the beauty of a red 2013 gti which I picked up on from Joel at Select Euro Cars yesterday. The week prior, I had driven out to Waterloo to his lot and shop and test drove the car. With a little back and forth, we worked out a deal with my trade that I put toward the gti and financed the remaining difference. I love this car, it's so fun and sporty. Please drive safe and obey local traffic laws.

Had an amazing experience, got a 2016 vw gti autobahn, dark grey. Joel was amazing to work with and he had plenty of stories to talk about to pass time while we were doing paperwork. He lifted the car for me to inspect myself and since I’m a mechanic it was a big factor in me buying the car. Everything was fully intact and he helped me get it to a manageable payment too. I live an hour and a half away but I’d gladly make the trip again, it was worth it. Thank you again you guys.

Absolutely astounding. Found Audi through Car Gurus, though unsure about them, yet Select Eurocars did a phenomenal job getting back to me and made the buying process a breeze. I went with this company after much research and still they were the best in reputation and apparent honesty, although only time will tell. Nevertheless, Preston reassured me and gave me a feeling of comfort in my purchase. Preston set up my Bluetooth, answered all my questions, familiarized me with the car, and even returned my rental for me! He took time!!!! Good info on my particular car problems, worth the drive (2 hours for me) I had been researching my CEL codes for a while and had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done and how much the parts cost. They had an even better idea of what actually needed to be done and when I saw the bill the parts costs were just like I had seen online, no mark up. Car is working great and saved me thousands compared to my local VW dealership

Great repair value! After a jaw dropping estimate from the VW dealership who informed me that our 2013 VW Touareg required a $12,000 repair. Also it was unsafe to drive with two broken springs and a rusted out parking brake. These guys got it done for around $3000 with inspection. I'll make the drive every time to this place!

I'm an enthusiast - Seriously, we love cars. I drove 6 hours to look at a car that Select EuroCars had for sale and I am so happy that I did. Joel stands behind what he sells. My wife and I love the Beetle convertible that we bought. I can't say enough about how upstanding a business this is. Buy with confidence.

Purchased a 2015 VW Golf TDI. Test drove the vehicle and was pleased but noted a minor issue. Their mechanics drove the car and diagnosed the issue which resulted in a bit of maintenance which was performed. When I spoke with Preston two days later, he informed me that they identified and resolved the issue. I let him know i would be there to pick up the vehicle and to please prepare the paperwork. After driving 1.5 hrs, I arrived and the car was detailed again and paperwork ready to go. 20 minutes later, I was on my way in my new (to me) car. Overall, it was a great buying experience and if you are in the market for a used VW OR Audi, I would highly recommend Select EuroCars, Inc.

Great selection, honesty and added value by doing business with a local business. Joel was very transparent about the process and where he purchases his VW inventory. Also great to have a knowledgeable and reputable dealer / mechanic. I love my Volkswagen beautiful inside and out thanks Joel. I highly recommend to anyone looking for VW.

I have a 2015 VW Eos. The gas tank cover would not open. It may be an actuator. I visited them. They discovered that it was a loose part and no new actuator was needed. They were very honest. The cost was about 1/3 of what a new actuator would have cost installed. Also If you are a AAA member, you get a 10% discount on parts or labor. You also have a 24 month or 24,000 mile warranty on parts or labor. You cannot beat that! The dealers and many independent auto repair shops do not offer this benefit. This place is great.

I came to these guys with a bit of a hectic situation and was 2 hours away and it took some figuring out to get me into the vehicle I wanted. I was on a serious time crunch so Preston worked with me every step and sorted out all of my paperwork before I even arrived to the dealership. Once I got there I had the pleasure of closing the deal with Joel. Everyone dreads dealing with car dealers but these gentlemen were awesome, very genuine people definitely did everything they could to help and look out for me and I’ve never felt better about purchasing a vehicle. Not to mention all the vehicles I saw on their lot looked immaculate this is not of of those small shops that sells junk. The 2 hour drive for me was well worth it and I will be recommending them to everyone I come across!

I bought my first car out of college from Joel and.so did my son. He got a job in Boston and had to have an inspection done to get plates in that state. The Audi dealer gave him an invoice for over $5000.00 in repairs and did not pass the car for inspection. This dealer also claimed the warranty that I bought from Joel wouldn’t cover the cost. I sent the invoice to Joel right away and he was “not impressed. My son drive all the way back from Boston and we gave the car to Joel. Joel completed all the necessary repairs and got the warranty to cover it all except for one thing. We did have to pay about $4.60. So that’s a saving of over $5000,00 for my son. To say we were pleased is an understatement. Joel even saved the warranty company money and did the work for much less. I have no doubt it was done correctly and Select Euro Cars will stand behind their work. Most trustworthy and honest dealership I have ever done business with. Highly recommended!

Really had a great experience at select eurocars. Joel never pressured the dreaded extended warranties and met all my needs as far as trade in and monthly payment. It was as easy as it could be to buy the car. After having the car for a few days the check engine light did come on. Joel was great in getting this fixed. He had one of his guys drive 1.5 hrs to switch cars with me while they worked on the issue. After two days the found a small vacuum leak. They even brought the car back to me l!!! That was great customer service. I will buy my next car here!!!
