Hart's Towing were my guardian angels on a night that went awry for my partner and I. Long story short we were given an unsafe vehicle from Avis and budget group don't ever recommend renting from them. Got into an accident on the NYS Thruway on a cold night, but Steve my toe operator from Hart's couldn't have been nicer. He swooped in out of nowhere like a guardian angel, had our rental vehicle up on the tow bed within seconds, An offer to give us a ride and drop us at a safe location that was right off the Thruway. My phone was near dead and he gave me a charging cable to make sure that I was able to call for a ride home.
Also the rental company has been trying to screw us over, and Karen from Hart's has helped us protect ourselves, and been nothing short of wonderful. I was in contact with her, and she called me and let me know that the rental company was there to pick up the vehicle. Before I could get there and take good pictures of a tire that blew out in the light of day, the retrieval company showed up. Knowing that this was my last chance to get good photos to prove the damage was not my fault, Karen offered to get the photos for me which she did and texted them to me.
Bottom line, If you're in Phelps, Waterloo, Geneva, or anywhere within their service area, and need a trusted partner to help you get out of a jam, Hart's Towing & Service LLC is it. Thank you to Karen, Steve and the wonderful staff. I would send you a fruit basket but I'm not sure it would still be good by the time I send it from Oregon ;)
They have helped me now twice once to get my car to the shop when I lost power steering and also when I locked both sets of keys in my car! Karan Lynn and Steve are all kind and know how to get the job done! Didn't have to wait long both times. Would for sure recommend hart towing to anyone!
Steve from Hart Towing couldn’t have been nicer and he made the whole experience pleasant over all. I broke down on I90 and Steve was there in 30 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The person who answered the really didn’t seem like he wanted to help me, when I told him my location he told me to call a competitor who didn’t open for an other half an hour. When I explained to him he was closer then his competitor he argued with me, told me his google location/address was wrong. And when I told him he didn’t seem like he wanted to help me he told me “just call another place”
I've a Tesla, was towing a trailer and ran out of charge just as I got off I-90, got into a parking lot 1/2 mi from the superchrger and car shut down. Hart was recommended by locals. Hart got there within 10 min. Chris the tech had jumped and towed Teslas previously. I had the necessary details from Tesla road support but Chris was well informed, very couteous and explained things as we proceeded accessing the low voltage battery, jumping it to get the car into Tow mode. We worked together as my low voltage battery is a lithium which should be handled differently from a lead acid low voltage. Jump cables should only be left on for approx 30 sec according to direction. He loaded by vehicle, towed my trailer and unloaded me at the charger withteh necessary jumping charging and ensuring my low voltage battery was able to initiate enable charging at te supercharger after which the high voltage took over. Chri did an excellent job, enjoys his work and gave me some in=mptortant tips about Teslas and towing & jump starting. Highly recommend Hart.
My car started having problems on I-90 so I pulled over and called for help and he was there within 30-35 mins and got us to a safer place. They were very caring and courteous when I went to get my car off of their lot because I couldn't pay it but they were reasonable about it for sure. Thank you all again and God bless you all!
We called and the man said 20 to 30 minutes and we called back in 30 and the lady said she don’t even have anyone. Are you kidding me they couldn’t have called to tell us . BAD SERVICE NEVER AGAIN They come up first on google so just scroll past trust me
Saved me on the side of I-90 tonight after i got a flat in the snow. Tow truck driver even recommended a nearby hotel, and told me where to get my tire fixed in the morning. Prompt service as well 10/10.
This tow truck company is contracted by NY thruway. I had the unfortunate experience of breaking down, only for them to tow me a MILE away and charge me full $150. NY Police had told me the driver would take me to the mechanics shop that I needed to get to. I ended up having to pay another tow truck company to get me there. Pathetic service and total rip off. Not to mention that I am from Ontario, Canada and I was totally at my wits end. No compassion whatsoever. I have contacted NY Policy and NY Thruway Auth for resolution of this disgusting treatment.
I blew a tire on the side of on the thruway and they responded quickly! The tire change turned out to be more convoluted than anticipated and both service members that responded were very helpful and nice to me and my dog! I was towed to two different stores for assistance and can’t express my gratitude for their professionalism and help. Thank you!
Other than paying a pretty penny ($110) I give these guys 5 stars. I had locked my keys in my car at a Love's gas station in their service area. I had literally called 9 different places that showed that they were 20 something miles away from me and every single place I called said I was out of their service area. Then I called these guys and they were there to help me w in a half hour of me initially calling them. If you are someone reading this review and need help in that area, I would definitely call these guys before anyone else. How the other companies were towards me was uncalled for. They were rude. I was 3 hours from home And had literally locked everything in my car except for my phone and Noone would help me. This place was the only one. TY Hart towing for being the only ones there for Me that day!
Chris was so great. He saved me from being stranded in Waterloo,NY at 11pm (when triple A failed me). Chris drove from Waterloo, NY to Buffalo,NY. The Price was reasonable (and they take credit and debit). Super grateful. This company saved me. Would recommend!

Very happy with Harts Towing. Karen was super friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. The owner came out late at night and helped me load my wife’s car. It wasn’t running and with their expertise we loaded it on my trailer without a problem. So Thankful for your help.

I would like to thank Hart towing for coming to me and my families rescue on Saturday evening. After a long day of driving with a trailer full of furniture up to Albany to outfit my college kids apartment... we ran out of gas on the thruway during the return trip home. I was 1-1/2 miles from my exit when the vehicle quit. I didn't take into the consideration of the extra fuel usage towing the trailer. I called the non emergency number on NYS Thruway's website and they expedited the service call to Hart Towing. The driver Chris arrived in approximately 35 minutes.He was very polite, thoughtful and quick about getting us back on the road. He even followed us to the gas station at the next exit to be sure we were back on track. Thanks again Chris for being so fast, and courteous. Also for working for a company that cares about their customers!

We were on our way back from a doctor appointment in Rochester when the handicapped van I was driving blew a back driver side tire. This happened on the NYS Thruway. We used our AAA card and were referred to the NYS Thruway for assistance. Austin Noone with Hart Towing was assigned the case. Austin was fast, efficient and used his problem solving skills to get us home. Without the right wrench for the spare tire, Austin quickly figured out another option to tow us home. We were safe and in good hands with his excellent service. Can't thank him enough. Being on that busy road with tractor trailers and cars whizzing by us was a bit scary. But Austin took care of all our worries. Excellent service. Thanks Austin and Hart Towing for the excellent service
I wanted to pass this on to this company and a towing operator.
On April 27 2019 my friend and I were
Coming back from our trip, and our right rear tire blew out on the NYS Thruway going East.
We called AAAand they directed him to contact the Thruway Authority so they called him and sent Hart Towing.
The towing operator by the name of Blyte was very concerned about our safety,and told us to stay in the vehicle until he arrived, and so we did.
He said he could toward us to Geneva at the gas station on the corner of Rts 14 and38.
And he told my friend to call AAA so we did.
They said it would be about 75 mins before someone would arrive which was no problem.
Well in about 20 mins Blyte showed back up and said he got the call we were quite happy it was him. We felt very comfortable with him and safe.
He towed the vehicle and us back to Oswego.
I want to give a BIG THANK YOU TO HART TOWING and Blyte, and The NYS Thruway Authority for the great help they did and AAA they were all a fantastic help.
I would recommend Hart Towing to anyone.

This company went above and beyond for us today. Us being my best fiber friend and myself while we were driving back from Rhinebeck New York (in 40F weather with a biting wind) when her transmission or gearbox decided to kack. He (the owner) towed us to their compound, then his wife (co-worker extraordinaire!) drove us and all ourbluggage to our hastily reserved hotel room without batting an eye. Service was impeccable, their kindness and "anything we can do to help" attitude went above and beyond to two Canadian women trying to get home. I can't recommend this company enough. They truly saved our a$$ today.

Well they're very helpful whenever I called.It took three calls to find the cheapest way to solve my problem Instead of $250, it cost me $22 when all is said and done.
Prompt for the initial pick-up and tow to their secure lot. Respectful, personable staff. However, it took over 24 hours for them to tow it from their lot to the body shop for assessment.
