Bellvale Market absolutely knocked it out of the park with their seafood charcuterie board. Every detail was thoughtfully done—from the freshness and quality of the seafood to the beautiful presentation. It was creative, generous, and clearly crafted by people who know and care about their food. The flavors were outstanding, and it quickly became the highlight of the table. If you’re looking for something unique and impressive, Bellvale Market’s seafood charcuterie is a must—truly an amazing job from start to finish.
I am in love with place. They have just enough of everything. Home cooked prepared meals, fresh seafood, local ice cream they make sandwiches and they have just enough groceries to cover your needs of your needs. Spent $60 on cold cuts and waited for 45 minutes to receive this when I got home. These cold cuts were unable to use and were clumped in a ball. This is absolutely unacceptable and I would never come back for cold cuts.
Great selection of food items. Amazing fresh seafood, meat, salads and deli counter options. Fresh bread and mozzarella available daily. I love the staff and specialty items they carry. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere offers a very warm and nostalgic vibe.
The Bellvale Market is definitely a five star success. The meats and fish are always fresh and Steve and the staff are very polite and receptive to our every need. We never miss a week where we stop by for one item or another. Kudos to all!
I love this place! Everything is so good! I order my cold cuts weekly from here, which are always sliced super thin and delicious.Their hot food and salads are always fresh. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. One of my favorite places to shop!
Quality has slipped! It’s a shame. This used to be a high quality deli, but the last few times I’ve ordered a sandwich it’s been half the amount of meat and it’s super dry. Clearly they are cutting corners. Go elsewhere!
I go to this market very often . The food is good . But they don’t make the chicken cutlets on the spot and how is a hero the same price of a round roll( 16 dollars ) !!!!! when the roll comes with one chicken cutlet?? . That’s insane . One of the times I had to wait about 20 minutes for the guy in the front to not even acknowledge me. Took care of everyone but me while my food was done sitting on the counter. The cherry peppers had stems on them every time i have purchased a sandwich leaving me to spit out my bite. I will never refer anyone here.
Food is so good, but they no longer list prices of anything anywhere and they are subject to change at any time due to the "volatile market". You have to just order and they can just charge you whatever. Insane.
I have to say I was a little worried about ordering food from a place I was not familiar with, living two hours away. Dara was very reassuring and I knew by talking with her I was in great hands for my daughter’s wedding. The food was exceptional from start to finish and would highly recommend them for your catering occasion.
We took a chance on Bellvale Market to cater our local wedding of about 60 and the food was very good. Knowledgeable staff assisted with quantities and menu selection. The owner delivered the food and made sure everything was good before leaving. We went with:
- (2) large charcuterie boards, mini arancini, and assorted artisan breads for the cocktail hour. Breads were fresh baked and boards included good assortment of fresh mozzarella and deli meats
- caprese salad to start. Fresh summer salad to kick off the meal
- chicken picatta and sausage and peppers with brocolli rabe, green beans, and fingerling potatoes as the main. Everything was fresh and there was plenty of food
Would 100% recommend to others and use again in the future.
This deli has amazing food! We cater all of our family functions from here. We moved here from bergen county and have high standards! I highly recommend this place.
Wish I could give zero stars! Placed a catering order from their online menu and was overcharged by almost $150. When I called to discuss it they said they could change prices whenever they want and they’re so busy they don’t care! I am disgusted by their business practice and will never use them again. Please look elsewhere if you are looking for food in Warwick.
We found this amazing little market on google maps near the AirBnb that we rented while in NY for our son's graduation. We were staying in Greenwood Lakes which is kinda far from any decent grocery stores. When I found this market place I read the reviews on google & they were all pretty decent, so I sent my husband & daughter. When they came back, all they could do was talk about the place & all the fresh meats & seafood they had. My daughter was raving about how the wife who 'especially' went in the back & got her some Italian Crema for our fruit, and then made sure to show them where the Sicilian Virgian Olive Oil was. (My husband's family is Italian) So this made him VERY happy!!! My daughter was super happy because they make their Mozzarella daily. Their prices were also very decent!!
I would suggest this market to anyone especially if you are looking for fresh meat or seafood.
Outstanding fresh, high-quality meat, seafood..(best in the surrounding area), deli salads and fresh real italian bread all kinds of sweets too. The premade frozen take away meals are high end and the menu is extensive, and you can not go wrong. everyone is super nice and helpful. The place is SPOTLESS clean!
Quality food and quality service. I consider this a local salumeria, something I missed since moving from Staten Island. Meat is fresh, fish is fresh, mozzarella is fresh, and the staff is pleasant. This is the taste of Italy I’ve been desiring since moving here. Love it.
Oh gosh. My family loves this place. They keep us fed. Since moving to the area this deli has been a pleasure to be near. They have fresh seafood, meat, salads, and sides daily. The soups made there are so good. Menu seems to rotate daily or bi daily. They make things from scratch or source them from good importers. Even the frozen stuff is yummy!
Also, the consistent friendly faces from the workers is really heartwarming. They slowly start to remember you.
I heard they do big meals and catering but I have never tried any.
Local gem. Top quality deli, fresh meat, seafood, fresh delicious side dishes, fresh
in-house made motz, and Italian market goods. Recommend calling in your Deli sandwich orders. Market small and can get crowded. Not inexpensive but quality, especially so close, rarely is.
The absolute worst! Never will I go there again. I ordered a tray and a half of pasta on 10-21 for 10-26. I showed up on 10-26 and the owner says, "We dropped the ball on your order." The order was in the scheduling book and nobody took the time to look at it. Unprofessional, unprecedented, and astonishing. That's no way to keep a customer.
The food is great. The only issue is they are not consistent in service. I have more than once, gone in to order Breakfast sandwiches only to be told sorry we are not making Breakfast we are to busy with Catering orders. No problem Larry’s Deli has time for my Breakfast business.
I ordered three dinners just yesterday; it was my first time trying Bellvale Market and they did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service great. I will definitely be returning very soon!
So good! In addition to standard (and delicious) deli offerings, they have a huge variety of high quality fresh meat and fish, pre-made frozen sauces, soups, appetizers, and meals. And the sandwich I had was definitely made with Boars Head meat (I watched), anyone that says otherwise is mistaken. Overall, definitely worth the trip - I will definitely be back.
Inconsistent hours. Numerous times I've driven there, to find a sign at the door saying they're closed for an unspecified reason.
Sandwiches are dry, flavorless, and do not use Boars Head meat, as the other review stated. Grocery store meat is a better option. The chicken cutlet I got required me to douse my own olive oil and fixings to make it even remotely edible.
The lobster bisque is a rip-off at $10 (the online menu says it's supposed to be $1 less, so don't trust that). A few small smidgens of lobster, with bisque that is overly salty and fishy-tasting.
The baked clams and chicken pot pie are good enough. I've been unimpressed with everything else.
There's one guy that's always quite pleasant, and another one that's very curt.
Basically, everything about this place is inconsistent and often disappointing, and definitely not worth the roulette wheel of "are they open or not?" Shady place.
Best place to get a quick sandwich in the Warwick area. Incredible fresh daily prepared salads. Friendly crew, and lots of awesome italian specialty goods. Also the freshest seafood in the valley.
Their food is delicious. Whether it be sandwiches from the deli counter, pre-packaged meals to go, fresh fish, etc... everything I've ordered has been great.
Would love to see some outdoor seating on the porch one day.
Also, would be a great coffee stop on the way to work in the AM if they could advertise it more and make it accessible :)
