The team at MH was a pleasure to deal with affordable pricing, about half of what the big companies wanted to charge for a 275 gallon tank removal and replacement. The install team was extremely efficient and completed a removal and replacement within 3 hours. My oil provider came out and the work passed all inspections. I would highly recommend.

I hired MH Tank to remove a 550 gallon underground fuel oil tank and to install a new above ground tank. My experience with them was top notch. First, Rich quoted my job with multiple options and there were no hidden costs. Their charges were very reasonable. His quote was thorough and detailed and he was a pleasure to deal with. The old tank was cleaned and out of the ground and the new tank installed and connected to my oil burner quickly and efficiently. The hole was backfilled and my property was left in good condition. I recently had two oil tanks removed and a new one installed in my basement. All of the associates I dealt with at MH Tank CO were informative, professional & patient. Richard took the time to explain the process and was incredibly accommodating when scheduling. They prioritized my situation because it was time sensitive. Installation was quick and clean. MH stuck to their commitments, kept communication very open, and made me feel very confident in the work getting completed to code. I discovered a tank under my concrete slab, enclosed patio. Not a fun job or cheap but priced the going market price and a very clean job. Would highly recommend! These guys know what they are doing for sure!!

These guys were Great! Rich Coombs set everything up and I didn't have to do any leg work or calling the town for permits. Very professional job and they took all the worry out of the process. I highly recommend them.

I reached out to MHT for our old underground tank and was instantly impressed with their 1st class service. A temp tank was promptly installed so we dont freeze until job could be performed shortly thereafter. On job day, they got down to business before I finished my coffee. Big Mike operated the excavator with surgical precision leaving foundation and drain pipe unscathed. Team Tank very carefully recovered our oil, removed old tank & affected soil, took samples, filled space with fresh soil, & cleaned up. They expertly installed our new tank with addition of flux capacitor looking device to filter and return oil for better performance. Plumbing it into our furnace was super neat and clean looking. Furnace intake appearance is now markedly improved from its previous setup. His team was equally remarkable with their specific tasks and they all worked together like a machine. What impressed me further is the depth of Mikes 30+ years experience as he was able to pinpoint exact location & type of tank before putting a hole in the ground(due to extended pipes). He was also able to give us an accurate timeframe of job completion as we also had other obligations that day. Total cost was exactly as quoted excluding waste which is dependent on private facility. Permit & DEC reporting was all expertly handled by his staff. Other businesses should follow MH Tank's pristine example of customer service and how Mike respectfully treats people & employees. Calling MH Tank was our best decision and they all have our thanks on job exceedingly well done !!

A+ Work. I can't say enough about Mike and his guy. Price was good, quality of work and professionalism even better. So glad I hired them. The tank was in a really bad spot and could have disturbed the foundation or steps. I was nervous, but Mike plucked it out with precision. I can tell who is a good operator within the first 2 minutes of a job,. Mike's guy was so good I was able to tell in 45 seconds.

We just hired MH Tank Co. to remove a below ground 1000 gallon heating oil tank and install a new 330 gallon tank. Good choice! We did a lot of research and read reviews on a number of different companies. Mike, the owner had come over to assess the job and gave us a few suggestions on where to install the new tank and also the type of tank. No other company did. Other companies quoted us a price over the phone or through emails without seeing our layout. He was very nice and low key. After signing the contract, Richie and Sherry kept us informed throughout the entire process about the status of our permits and job. They were very efficient and pleasant to talk to. The install went smoothly. Dan and Mike coordinated the excavation of the old tank also without a hitch. Even though the old tank was almost right against the house, only one half of a plant was disturbed. We were so impressed with the cleanup that was done so meticulously. MH Tank has employees that have worked for them for a long time. They seem to enjoy their jobs and were a pleasure to work with. From Mike coming to inspect the job to be done, to the writing of the final check, this job was done flawlessly. The quality of their work was outstanding. Selling a house can be stressful. Having an in ground oil tank removed can add to that stress. Especially when the tank is partially under an already compromised retaining wall. The guys from MH Tank were amazing. Right from the start, Rich kept me informed as to the process. We just used MH Tank for a big job. They were great. Removed 2 old tanks from the ground and installed new above ground oil tanks on cement platforms. I called a few days later and they came out to check on something for me. No problem. There were wonderful. I would totally recommend.

When we were selling my parents home, it became apparent that the underground oil tank would need to be removed for any bids to be approved by the buyer's banks. We called MH Tank company and we have never worked with a more professional and courteous company. They did a professional job and treated our family with respect and care during the process. 5 star reviews are not common for me... MH Tank deserves it! Job was quoted and completed promptly and as anticipated. In a world where everyone seems to shout at one another for even the littlest detail, it is refreshing to experience a team that is courteous, respectful and professional. From initial call, to administration, to field crew to ownership, the friendliness of MH Tank's entire team was pervasive and sincere. An example for all those who have forgotten the lost art of customer service.

While they didn't call us back that night (to be fair no other company that we called had returned our call any sooner),whenI called them in the morning they had a proposal ready and were at my house very quickly to assess the leak in our tank. Within just a few hours they had remedied the situation enough to save what oil they could and allow my house to stay warm while the new tank was brought in. Within 1 day the new tank was installed, refilled, old tank removed and area cleaned. Overall excellent service, timely and respectful. Absolutely worth the few extra hundred dollars (~$200) for a trustworthy fix with a long warranty. Mike was honest and upfront the whole time and did great work! We hope to not need him but if we ever have a problem we know we can count on him.

We needed to use MH Tanks services twice in our new build process - first to remove our underground oil tank and recently to install a new above ground tank. They made both tasks very simple from permitting to inspections and everything in between. They are easy to deal with and very accommodating. They were quick, showed up when they said they would and very professional. We were under a tight deadline to get the tank installed to meet a scheduled house inspection. MH Tanks worked with us to get everything installed and went above and beyond to make sure we were ready for that inspection. While building, we tried to use local companies as much as we could. Unfortunately, we learned a lot about how unresponsive or unprepared a lot of them are. Happily I can say this is NOT true of MH Tanks. Wanted to also mention how helpful the office staff is. We would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

MH Tank was outstanding to work with. We needed to remove/replace a 275 gallon AST. They were super-responsive, provided a fair proposal, and then executed much more quickly than they estimated. We ran into a minor hiccup (not their fault) and they were proactive with a perfectly workable solution that did not require a terrible price increase. We needed to have an in-ground oil tank decommissioned on site as part of the “closing” contingiency to sell our home in Monticello, NY. I delt with Richard for everything and could not have asked for a better, smoother experience. Rich is very personable and a great pleasure to work with. He guided/educated me through every step of the process. My tank was located in a precarious position on the property, so I thought it best to create a youtube video showing the tedious pathway and terrain that let to where the tank was buried. My requests for quotes on both a decommissioning and removal was delivered very quickly. They set up an appt that was well before the tentative buyer’s closing date so that we wouldn’t have to be concerned about satisfying that final contingency to close. On the morning of the work, three guys showed up earlier than expected, we’re very outgoing, personable/friendly and knocked it out in about 3.5-4 hrs. Even the person who made the confirmation call, prior to the decommissioning date, was very friendly and explained that they’d be emailing me the official completion documentation that we could submit to our RE attorney as proof of satisfactory completion. MH Tank Co. is fantastic. In January we purchased a property in Warwick, NY that included an underground tank that had to be removed and replaced with a new above ground tank. The underground tank was on the side of a hill in a difficult location. MH Tank came to the property months in advance of closing. Walked me through the entire process step by step. As we negotiated the purchase contract, I relied on MH Tank to explain the risks of the underground tank removal and they clarified everything I needed to know to minimize risk exposure. The very day of closing (a Friday) they secured the Town of Warwick work permits. That Monday they were on site first thing on a cold January morning. They first installed the new double-layered tank in the mechanical room. Their work was spot on. Direct, professional, clean and in the perfect location. They then emptied the underground tank, salvaged and transferred as much clean oil as was available, and took every precaution to prevent environmental damage. Finally, they backfilled the old tank location perfectly, cleaned up after their work and took all the old hardware as they wrapped up. Can’t say enough good things about MH Tank Co. These guys know tanks. I highly recommend.

M H negligently caused around 2K in damage to our driveway. Left several messages to the owner and did not receive a reply. They were, of course, quick to reply before this happened. The tank was not under the driveway and all this could have been avoided if they simply put some plywood down before trying to excavate. They also removed my neighbor's tank (we share the same driveway) on the same day and made sure to put plywood down on his side after they caused the damage to my side. Same driveway w/plywood caused no damage.
