I dont leave reviews often but the behavior and response I got from the staff on shift this Saturday morning was apalling. I went in asking for a jack through the free rent a tool program to help with my oil change and all FOUR employees asked me what I meant, and even after a more thorough explanation of what a hydraulic jack is, two still looked at me puzzled and one asked me if I needed to "go to the bathroom for it" making a self pleasure joke to me, a random man. Im really disappointed that the entire staff didnt even know what a jack was and that one of them thought it was okay to make sex jokes towards me. I always bought my stuff here for my two vehicles but I will not be doing so any longer.

Helpful staff, limited inventory

I like this store in Canandaigua. Whenever I need new wiper blades one of the nice men always put them on for me. Very friendly man helped me today.

Kyara and Romeo at AutoZone were great. Kyara gave excellent customer service at the counter, and Romeo installed my battery quickly and professionally. Appreciate the help.

This Praise is for Manager Patty at store # 2934 which is this location. Thank you so much for going beyond for my Husband who is a Marylander on a Job in Canandaigua. He got stranded on the night of November 25th coming out of a Solar Panel Job. His work truck got stranded on site. No one near and all Mechanics were closed. He was finishing up to come back home for Thanksgiving. I called the store to get a starter. I purchased it over the phone. And she delivered it after her shift ended. She even helped charge his dead battery due to being so cold. She went beyond for us. She was our Angel that day. We knew no one and had no one but her. Has what you need , most of the time unless it's an odd part , but they can order it. Helpful staff and a clean store

Patty was awesome and took her time with us and got us the right parts when another worker there brought us to the wrong parts and wasn’t any help

This is the best AutoZone location by far. Austin has been helping me for years with various projects and maintenance. He is always so kind and knowledgeable. I no longer live in the area but make the drive because the stores in my area simply don’t compare.

Gave me a battery in 20 minutes and a battery for my key phob. Great service

Terrible service. I go in to purchase a pair of headlights and I ask the lady if they price match. She told me yes they did. She then in a defensive manner said “do you have the price?” I go get my phone to show her the price of the lights and when I told her and shown her they were $20.75 at Walmart she then got really snotty and said “absolutely not that’s almost 50% off!” After she told me they priced match. Seems like she got mad because I can get a better price else where. Will never go again, absolutely terrible customer service from that lady.

Decent prices among the chain stores but could use better quality employees that are better trained to know their inventory and where the right parts are .

Jackson was super helpful today. I came in asking for oil, and he helped me figure out exactly what I needed. I'm very obviously not a car guy, but he was extremely kind and I didn't feel talked down to or dismissed at all

Les and Mike were amazing today! I was in and out in 10 minutes. Les helped me find the exact wiper blades I needed and showed me the different sizes and brands. Then Mike so kindly put the new blades on, even in the snowy “spring” weather.

A huge thank you to Romeo at Auto Zone Canandaigua for helping me when my check engine light came on. He went above and beyond, reading the diagnosis and explaining it to me clearly and simply. He was super helpful, kind, and considerate. Thank you!!

I had help finding high beams that would be clearly white and Xenon to match my hid’s. Was sold a product that was clearly yellow once plugged in and it turns out are xenon look alike not real xenon. Showed them a picture to get a return and they said they can not take the return and my light was white. Went onto say they saw they were yellow seconds later (AS THEY CLEARLY ARE) but reverted their statement later. Now stuck with $70 lights that I was sold by a rep and tried to return to the same rep. Never will be going to AutoZone again. If you don’t know what’s your talking about, don’t sell the product, end of story.

I had to go here to get some new spark plugs and they had them in stock. The store was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I wish that I didn't have to buy more spark plugs for my car which I had to do is starting to get starting to get annoying but least there's AutoZone that has the parts I need. Thank you AutoZone

Went into store needing bulbs. I was greeted immediately. They were very well knowledgeable about the items I needed. The store manager changed my bulbs for me. Very pleasant. Highly recommend.

Buyer beware!! If you are uneducated about automotive parts or are woman and dont know anything about car parts, make sure you research how much the part you are looking for is. This store will most certainly try to take advantage of your ignorance and charge you the highest price possible to make a buck. When confronted about this, the manager was not even apologetic. The manager was insensitive and rude and had no intention of being accountable.

Great service this morning. I walked in looking for new wiper blades and was greeted quickly. The salesman found what I needed and installed them as well. All around good service.

Stopped by to make sure the bulbs I bought were the right ones. Paul and Vinny were so helpful, they verified that the ones I bought were right and before I knew it they both were installed! Now that’s service!! So great full to have that taken care of...I had an inspection later that day. Passed with flying colors! Thank you again!!!

Bought a battery. Austin installed it. Online info stated it could take 45 minutes. It took him about 15 minutes. Told me why and what he was doing. Knowledgeable and professional. Very helpful young man. He's certainly an asset to the Canandaigua store.

I love the employees there. They always get me what I need. Even if I have to order it. Also, being a woman, they don't treat me like I dont know anything about cars or tools, like the rest of employees at other stores. If I have questions, they answer them. They are completely honest with their customer. They will tell you their what brands they had the best results personally.

Had to get a gas cap for my car. They ordered it and when it came in the cap was not fitting in my car even though it was the right one. 2 guy employees were so helpful and did everything they could to figure out why it wasn't going in. They fixed the cap and it finally worked. Very nice employees and I am so appreciative for their help and time.

We don't frequent this particular type of parts store often (we prefer another, no not Advance, they're foul), that aside. This one store stands out from the rest in the way of customer service. They went above and beyond and made our experience at this location very enjoyable and we will return here if our travels necessitate us dropping by. Thank you!
