Had to have two separate transactions because of course they found what I needed after they said they didn't have it and I purchased my other materials. Glad they have it but someone who knows what they're looking for would have been nice. I was the only customer in the store, it was clean, shelves stocked nicely, and quick.

I always forget how horrible the service is in this store go to auto zone just for better service. Employees don't seem to care a kick for the customers.

Brandon is one of the best who runs that place he could become a store manager. Great costumer service.

My team and I love working with the crew over at Advance Auto Parts in Canandaigua. They provide stellar customer service both in person and over the phone special shout out to Jason!

Absolutely do not recommend the Canandaigua store. The lady “manager” (Tanya I believe her name is) was extremely disrespectful. I ordered a $220 part, picked part up went to my car and had my husband check it over to make sure everything was right. Well.. it was a used part with a ripped gasket and missing pieces. My husband attempted to return it immediately, as we had not yet left the parking lot, and as he approached the counter this woman comes yelling at him about how she checks her parts and she knows it’s fine. My husband asked if it was on camera - her checking the part and she just continued to scream at him about how she checked it and knew it was fine and that he must of stolen the missing piece and that they have no cameras in the store and they only go by honesty. What good is a distributor without the fork to hold it in place!?!? Not to mention the ripped gasket! I could hear her screaming while I was in the car, with my window rolled up. Needless to say she absolutely refused to return the used, broken part she just sold us!! Do NOT go here! I will be changing parts suppliers as we used to do a lot of business with advanced auto parts.

Never have a problem with the people very pleasant and they know how to take care of customers. Very pleased

Excellent service and helpful. Recommended I replace the alternator before I replace the battery. Long story short, I went to my kia service shop and they only replaced the battery. The following week while driving the alternator gave out. I ended up paying a $90 fee to have my Sorento towed. Should've taken advice of Adv auto instead of the kia service guys.

They guy was helped us was friendly and honest, which was very appreciated. We were in and out in a matter of minutes. I'd definitely go back but hope I dnt have to.

Horrible service give them my information ended up giving me wrong part for a different car a total fail other than that the store was clean and didn't have to wait in line long but not being able to do the job they're supposed to do simply look up your car on the computer and give you the parts total fail

I do A LOT of business with these guys. Rick is always on point and great at finding me what no one else can.

Staff is great, very helpful. Prices are somewhat comparable to other big name stores. Not a huge selection of in-store products though.. Yes, they have a TON of oil. But other products (like coolant, for example) they are VERY limited in-store. And for someone like me, who only stops when the problem is apparent, it's very frustrating bc those products are the ones that seem to cost a bit more than everywhere else.

Great place and I really like that I can buy parts online and get a discount then pick them up at the store.

Battery died at work, I had a friend of mine jump it and he recommended I go to Advanced Auto, because they will put the battery in for me. Long story short, I bought the battery, got an attitude from the heavy set guy with glasses behind the counter about installing it "you're gonna take this home and put it in, right?" Um, no, I thought you guys installed it here.."oh, well I guess I can do it", then when he put the battery in, broke the bolt on the stabilizing arm that goes across my battery. Only words out of his mouth was "you got a bolt loose, should have that checked" and slammed the hood without showing me. The bolt is stuck so far in that I cant get it out and I cant reattach the arm. What a jackass and I wont tell anyone to go there.

My go to auto parts store in town. The store is always clean and well stocked. Staff is kind and helpful.

I ordered some fluid and a funnel online and stopped in, had a great conversation with the one employee, ended up buying some oils I needed as well with some advice and help from him, had a great time while buying car supplies that were actually pretty well priced, not cheap but not expensive and it was all great, well known products as well so will definitely be shopping here again when I need something else for my car.

It seems more often than that when I request a part it is not in stock. The prices are also way higher than other locations. If you can wait a couple days Amazon is a way better deal. Even Napa can beat them in stocking and prices.

One counter person was busy catching up on personal issues with a female customer, one had no idea what planet he was on but the third was on his game. Once they purge the deadbeats it should be great.

Terrible service bought a battery got it home open the box and there was dirt all over it terminals so corroded could barely get the bolts out put it an and won't do anything but click. Put it on the charger same thing after an hour.

Greeted the moment we entered. Our order was ready as expected and provided promptly. Greats eals this month and speedperks make it even better. Good store imparticular.

Sometimes a bit of a wait to buy your stuff, but usually because they are spending extra time to ensure another customers satisfaction. I'm willing to wait on that because I would want them to do the same for me.

associates were very good explaining what parts was needed and cost efficient he didn't try to over sell me on stuff even.

We do a lot of our own car repair work for ourselves and with a big family, own a lot of vehicles. This is where we go for 95% of our parts - the only time we check out the other one down the street is if this one doesn't have what we need in stock. Also recommend ordering online ahead of time (added bonus is it confirms parts are in stock) and they'll be ready and waiting for your pickup in half hour. Also, you can use online coupons AND use a cash back tool to get an even bigger discount! We've always had great service from the counter people, too.
