Great place to take your bottles and cans great service friendly staff and there fast I had over 100.00 dollars worth and didn't take them very long to count them definitely will recamend them and they play great music.
This place is a rip off I brought to them over 1200 cans and bottles and they gave me $37 you do the math $37 is $740 cans and bottles such a damn ripoff never will I go there again as you should not either!
I've been going to Cash for Cans for years now. I never realized how much is involved in the redemption business, the employees that work there are very hard working and deal with many unhappy / and not so understanding people. But it's the only business in the area that counts all the cans & bottles by hand, it's a very laborious job . They're the only redemption canter in the Oneida / Canastota area,all the grocery stores in the area have either closed their machines or they don't work properly. Most of the time there is only two people working on site in the redemption business, so cut them some slack, they try their hardest to get you in and out of there as fast as possible. Give them the benefit of the doubt when you have to wait a few minutes, some days they process 50,000 cans and bottles in an 8 hour day!

Came in with 30 bags of cans and bottles and walked away with $55.
I helped rip open the bags while they counted. Once the second of the workers was freed up, two of them would count at the same time.
To my surprise, there's several items don't have a deposit (such a certain water bottle brands) and they were very kind to explain this to me.
Expect a warm grating and some loud music. 🍻
If I could give zero stars I would. How do you return bottles and cans to a place that's not even open? They just say we are closed as you walk up. Recycling bottles is irrelevant. Don't take your bottles here you will just get turned away.
After waiting in line for 30 minutes the lady at the counter seen I brought in a bunch of cans and she told me she’s sorry but they are about to close! It was only 3pm the sign on the door and your website says your open until 5! Complete waste of my time!
Exactly what you think of for a can and bottle return. Service was excellent. The person counting my cans was fast, efficient and very friendly. There was plenty of hand sanitizer and paper towels which was much appreciated. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
So incredibly rude when you bring in a large amount of bottles and cans. Apparently they don't want the business.i will make sure I spread the word to anyone that will listen not to go here ! They treat their customers like garbage .
The women at the counter was mad because I brought them “a big order “ first thing in the morning! The reason I know she was mad is because she bad mouthed me and “ my big order “ to another customer!!! Right in front of me!!! Stupid me still tipped ! No worries I will not BOTHER you w my big order again!! Lots of other places to go, they will appreciate my business not complain about it !
I've been there several times and have had bad experiences. One of the workers was rude, they leave the room at random times without saying anything to their customers and are gone for a while, then come back and continue their job. Today I went and the door was locked and their sign said " out for lunch " didn't have a time they would be back and it was 3:00pm in the afternoon. Who takes lunch at 3:00pm?
At least someone has been able to return cans and bottles here. Every time my girlfriend or myself load ours up, e we hen we get there you’re closed. Very rarely open.
Christy (probably spelled it wrong) is a saint. So much employee turnover in there—gotta be stressful as a result. She’s a constant though and always waiting with a smile. Super fast too! 👍🏼
I have been coming to this redemption center for a long time and have never dealt with an employee who is drunk he has also messed up on my count several times I had liquor bottles come into with little bit of alcohol in the bottle and have had to ask him not to drink it he has also refused to empty water bottle with water in them I get told he doesn't have time to empty them
After reading reviews for this place I was a bit hesitant but decided to see for myself. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised as the woman I dealt with was friendly and quick. Will definitely return there again.
The girl that works there is beyond rude. Not gonna tip someone that complains about her job the whole time. I think maybe it’s time for a new job maybe don’t work with people since you have no respect.
Very fast and quick I think it is a great place to take your returns to.....I'm sure you will have a great experience also.....as for being dirty or what not from some of the other comments I read.....it's a can and bottle redemption place not a restaurant but in my eyes I thought it was as clean and neat as it should be.....I will definitely be returning my cans and bottles there.....and you should too.....
unfortunately I had to give a start to this business nothing obviously can be proven through what I'm saying and I don't anybody will seriously read this I will say that this business has constantly cheated me unfortunately we can either sit in Walmart or whatever for ever to put cans in these machines that are poor maintenance and waste time or we can go to a quicker way of doing it like a business like this and get robbed good luck fellas I have a large family and we are going to record that business for a year and see if you guys are straight as of today this morning you robbed me of $25 out of cans that's a lot of cans do you feel good about yourself you shouldn't don't do business here
The girl that was working today can not count and kept loosing track of how many. Got screwed out of at least 4$. When questioned on count got an attitude.
The gentleman at the counter is misrealable and I'm not okay with that kind of customer service if your employee is that misrealable maybe he shouldn't work there or be on register if he's that unhappy with his job he's the first person u meet when you go in and he gives you attitude! I shouldnt feel ashamed for bringing my bottles and cans in to a buisness to help them stay open when i get attitude and long breaths at us and he shakes his head like he's disappointed in us i don't think so ill keep another small business open by bringing my bottles and cans to them instead and the picture below is the employee that was rude to my husband and I.
I just redeemed a 1000 bottles and only got $40 I believe I was short changed the places dirty typical of redemption centres and the guy counting the bottle was a little rude. No more business from me.
Under new management. There will be no limit on bags but we do ask you respect other customers and leave them if we’re busy. We’re trying to clean the place but it’s hard when we’re so busy. As for the workers being rude it best not happen while I’m there and if you happen to get a negative experience please contact me. We’re are definitely trying to make this the place to go for not just our community but surrounding areas as well. Just remember when you bring in 10 bags of cans that they all work hard and non stop. We get a lot of surprises in the bags and tips are greatly appreciated. So come see us and see the change in the atmosphere!😄
Not willing to take large quantities of bottle or cans. Rude to customers and shady to say the least. It's been stated they have scammed people out of their deposits by giving back less than they counted.
