The parts guys here are so nasty and they don't care about their customers. The Ojay guy in particular doesnt let people speak and hangs up the phone on them ( the customers)!!! No chance of even knowing who the manager/owner is, let alone speaking to one. Horrible customer service!!!! This place should get NO stars at all!
I wish I could give 0 stars. They sold an engine as direct bolt on replacement. Once the engine arrived it was not a bolt on . Have to swap timing chain cover , oil pan ignition coils. The guy who sold the engine Dominick refused to refund, said only store credit given back. They are liars and thiefs. I would definitely stay away from this place.
I wish there was a way to give them ZERO stars. I'm one never to leave a bad cement however this merits me taking my time and warning would be costumers to look else where for parts if they want to safe time and aggravation. I purchase an used engine from them back in 04/03/17 shortly there after I discovered a hole on the engine block. Luckily it was under the 30 day warranty so I thought, good I'm covered. After many calls to them and speaking with "Nick" I was told "I would get a replacement motor by this week" week went by more calls I was told tomorrow! then next week, it is now JUNE 30th and I'm yet to see a replacement engine or a refund. Now I'm being forced to get this matter resolved with the help of attorneys because they fail to give me a refund or a replacement part. My advise to you is STAY AWAY from this people they are NOT professional and conduct very bad business.
I called universal for an engine for my 2010 Toyota Corolla they gave me a great price and informed me that my mechanic was overcharging me, they were kind enough to have a tow truck pick my car up(free of charge) and have my engine installed for half of what I was paying, this was 2 years ago and I am happy to say my car is running better than ever, will most definitely be recommending them to family and friends who need parts for their cars
I was nervous after seeing bad reviews, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. They gave me a great price, and were very pleasant to deal with. There was no rudeness as others have mentioned. Completely professional, and great with the follow up. I suspect the bad reviews are from people who don't normally deal with used parts and there may have been tension if they don't understand how it works. I am fully satisfied with the service I received.
The man was very helpful but when it came to price his entire demeanor changed. I purchased the part because I really needed it right away and I don't know the area very well. Overall I left feeling rip off. I would not buy from them ever again.
