Quoted my pregnant wife $39 for an air filter when we just needed a nys inspection. For those of you who don't know, this is already on the higher end price wise and an air filter is not required to pass a nys inspection. After making her wait over an hour he banged her out for over $197.00 since she unfortunately, had to use the restroom badly and didn't have the time to argue the absurd charge.
Had water leakage on my interior passenger side, they were able to unclog my ac lines, replace my filters, and inspected my car for me, within the same day too, great service!
One of the rare very reliable and fair mechanics I've been to. Kenny and Jason are a pleasure to talk to and clearly understand and research the best and most efficient approach to fixing a problem without blowing through the customer's wallet. Absolutely recommend.
I have repaired and worked on my own cars for 17 years! I call to schedule an inspection that should be quick since car is BRAND NEW. Guy on the phone was extremely rude and condensending. This was the LAST time I even tried this ridiculous place, last year I give them one chance and they tried to rip me off and make me buy services I didn't need, figured I'd give them another chance this year and serves me right, they worse than before. AVOID THIS PLACE!
This is a dishonest car repair shop. They damaged my car's wipers and made it a requirement that I replace them in order for my car to pass its annual inspection.
went for state inspection and rotate tires . Inspection is $38 and he charged $60 to rotate the tires the most I've ever paid is $25 and he needed to remove a front and rear tire to do the state inspection . BEWARE !
The most dishonest mechanic ever.. he oversells the problems and overcharges.. when confronted, he doesn’t say sorry.. he just blames it on his own machines or something or someone else.. it is in my neighborhood so I went to that place a few times.. and every time, I find that all the mechanic cares about his how to charge the most …
Went for an inspection, the mechanic start ripping things off and shaking my tires/wheels like he is going to destroy it. Pushed the OBD connector and broke the metallic frame which holds the OBD connector. Sneakily asked me to stand away from the car so I dont witness the haphazrd damage being done to vehicle. Brake lights were loose (diagnostic charge $175) and he start yanking brake light housing instead of opening it from rear. For $37 inspection he damaged my vehicle immensely. Owner was standing there and silently watched the whole scene. Please dont take your valuable vehicle to this ripoff mechanic shop, they will 100% damage your vehicle.
Tesla owners beware! I have two Teslas and have done inspections multiple times at different autoshops in different Nassau towns. Every single one of them only charged me $10 for inspection. There was really nothing to be inspected: read mileage and check tires and wipers. That's all this place has done and they charged my husband $38!!! Almost 4 times of other places. My husband didn't do the inpection for our Teslas before so he didn't know the price or he definitely won't do it here.
Unless you want to get ripped off, stay away!!!
The guys at this station are very friendly and very professional. They are very knowledgeable on working on cars and do a great job getting a customers car back to them in a reasonable amount of time. They are a full service gas station and the attendants are very good. It is a community station where everyone knows everybody. You won't find a more professional station than this one
I was from out of state and purchased a boat from Long Island area, wheel bearings went out on 495. I called several places and finally found this garage (no one else was willing to help). They let me drop off the boat and trailer and leave it at their garage until they were able to find parts and replace my hub assembly. They were great in calling me with updates and getting it taken care of in a timely matter. The price was fair and work was done correct. I appreciate them helping me in a jam. I highly recommend this place!
They pretty good and fast when it comes to fixing cars however the only issue is you cannot schedule appointments. I went in for a tire repair due to a nail that I couldn't find.
Brought it in early around 8:30 9am. Asked to have it done by noon which I was told it would be. Didn't happen. Brought it in the next day and finally got it done.
When I asked to set an appointment up they told me they do not schedule appointments. Its first come first serve only. Not a good approach.
Worst experience ever. Went here to get car insurance photos taken and while there were 4 guys in mechanic suits walking around, the ONLY person that was capable of pumping gas was the guy that was taking the insurance photos... the staff was completely braindead. The location makes it impossible to maneuver your car into taking insurance photos, getting gas, overall, just a really really bad location. I would recommend going anywhere else in melville or another town over to get gas or get your insurance photos done. The staff is 100% incompetent and lazy.
