This is an exceptional shop I've been in an accident and the customer support was unbelievable I had to do nothing all I did was pick up the phone my car was picked up a rental car was dropped off nothing cost me out of pocket they bill insurance no headache no nothing car brought back to me sparkling brand new zero headaches unbelievable customer support unmatchable
Beyond satisfied! Went in just expecting the damage to be fixed, but the entire car, inside and out was shining like new, it even drove better! The friendly service, keeping me in the loop made an inconvenient situation the best it could be. Thank you guys! Can’t say I hope to do this again soon, but it’s great to know you’re there!

Quick, friendly, efficient and honest. I wasn't able to get my work done here bc I have 1000 deductable and the damage was less than 1000, but my insurance company did send me the check for the quoted damages given by Michael, in order for me to get it fixed when I'm ready.

Expected date of result was already 1-2 weeks before before my expectation, was called 4 days before that date saying my car was ready. Friendly, kind. I hope I don't need any more body work in the near future, but if I do it's good to have somewhere I feel comfortable leaving my car with high expectations.

I have been using Wantagh Auto Body for car repairs for years and always been pleased. This time a friend from out of the area asked me to help him get some minor body work done on his car as well as repainting a good part of the car... He did not trust the body shops in his area so I contacted Michael, the owner, on his behalf. This car is his baby and he and I are members of the same vintage car club. Michael went out of his way to meet him to view the car as he had reason to be out east near him. . He and Michael then worked out the arrangements. I met them at the shop and he was happy to meet the team that he was entrusting his car to,,, Gonzo, who did the welding and metalwork, Jose who did the paintwork and Peter who did the careful disassembly and reassembly and installation of moldings that had to be painstakingly put in place as they had been removed during prior body work and the mounting holes covered up. The staff there obviously take alot of pride in their work. Michael stayed personally involved in the job every step of the way. The real question was how well they could match decades old paint. They did an amazing job and there is no way anyone could ever see that the work was ever done. There is a reason that this shop has been in business at the same location, owned by the same family since the 50's and the reason that I bring my cars there and have recommended them to members of my car club . My friend is very pleased and now sees why it was well-worth the trip from out of the area to bring it to this shop. These guys should all be commended for a job well done.
The staff is great. Dropped my van off Monday, January 21st. And got it back Tuesday, January 28th.
They fixed the rear trunk door, bumper and rear crash bar on my 2009 Honda Odyssey . I highly recommend that you go here if you are near by.
They had a quick turn around. They gave me a guarenteed pick up date. There were a couple of minor flaws in the repair. They took it back in and corrected it.
Wantagh auto body is the only place i will use or recommend for everything. The communication and service is perfect. They go out of their way to assist with the insurance companies, and go above and beyond what any other place does with everything. Thank you for making such a bad experience, easy and stress free.
