The large trash container is continually left in front of the mailboxes even though I asked the trash man not to, and had left note. Mailman will NOT deliver mail whenever it is blocked
I switched from Casella to Coakley. I have been very pleased with the service. When you call you typically go to voicemail and they have to call you back, but other than that I've been pleased with the service and the price. They are also the last small business offered in my area since Casella bought all the others so I'm very glad they are still in service.
Absolute worst garbage removal service. They don't answer the phone. Don't return calls. They skip picking up trash for a couple weeks at a time. Completely unreliable. Don't throw your money away on these people. You get what you pay for!
Worst customer service EVER! Starting off our service, we never received a recycling bin for the first month. We started remodeling our house and had a little extra garbage at the curb, that they NEVER PICKED UP!! Even after calling and threatening to cancel our service, it still took 3 days to get it picked up. After 3 weeks of fighting them, trying to get them to do their job, we are done. Moving on to Youngblood Disposal, where we will be much happier.
We've had Coakley for more years than I can recall. Very few issues which they have always resolved. They always get back to me after leaving a message although it may not be as quick as someone else would like. It is a small company. Good price. Good service.
We have been with them for 28 years and have been very happy with them. Once in a blue moon we have had a pick, but nothing serious. They have always been vey good to us.
The ABSOLUTE worst company in the history of companies. I’m not even a client of theirs, and would NEVER endorse them. I’ve been trying to get them to pick up their bins from prior owner for months. They DO NOT answer phones and the one time I did reach someone she said, “I’m just answering the phone until the regular secretary gets back.” Was totally unwilling to help. DO NOT USE THIS TRASHY (pun intended) COMPANY.
Unfortunately Coakley's has left me with no choice but to review them this way. We moved into our house in August and signed up for their service. In October they removed our tote and recycling bin. We called that day and spoke with a representative. They told us they would take care of it and call us back. They never called back. After several attempts to contact them, we changed companies. Now we're receiving a bill to pay for missing items (tote and recycling bin). We have been trying for months to contact them to no avail. There is no way to send an email or leave a message. They do not answer when I call. I will never recommend this company. I will gladly update my review when this matter is resolved.
Been using them for years. Unlike the other services, they've always picked up some extras when I put it out (like tree branches, an extra can or bag or two) with no complaints or extra charge. Large items have been picked up when I call ahead and just leave a message on their phone.
Used a roll off dumpster a couple of times, and was satisfied with the service and the charge (even when overloaded once, they didn't charge me extra.).
No, they don't always answer the phone immediately (they can all be busy during trash pick up times) but they have always returned any calls I've made or taken care of my problem without returning the call. They're still around after all these years, unlike the MANY other services that have come and gone or changed hands here in Henrietta.
They also provide a pickup at my girlfriend's mother's house in Mendon...she can't get the cans down to the street, as she is handicapped and lives on a hill at the end of a 400 foot driveway. They pick up right at her garage door.
The a absoult worst company to deal with. We canceled our service 6 months ago. Left an empty toter at the road for a month. They kept charging us a nd never did the service they were being paid for. 3 months ago we tried canceling again!! Same thing no service but still charging us!!! So this week I've been calling everyday to try and cancel our service again but no one ever answers the phone!! The worst customer service I have ever seen. I would highly recommend not using their services as all they care about is being paid and not providing a good service!!!
These guys are terrible. The don't pick up your trash, you call to complain and no one ever calls you back. 4 calls in 4 days have gone unresponded to. I gave them every options to make it right and they chose to ignore us and our repeated calls.
0 stars if possibe! will take money however wont reflect it in bill. No way of getting hold of anyone to fix problems, address online is incorrect. Wont bill correctly. This is a joke of a company and would avoid at all cost!!! Consumers beware!!
Google asks me "what I Like about this business" Hahahha...NOTHING!! we recently moved and I called Coakley Disposal and the lady supposedly set up our service, while that morning came and went. No pick up, no toter was EVER delivered. But guess what they did send, a Bill, 2 Bills!! And are now sending notices that they are going to send it to a creditor of the bill isn't paid!!!!!! 😤😤😤😤😠
A joke of a company. Cancelling my service if I can EVER get a call back or ANYONE to answer the phone.
I just started service a month ago. They didn't pick up anything the first week of my account. Then they quoted me $24.50/month. Then my first bill came and it was for 38.99. I have left multiple voice mails which zero have been returned.
3 calls, and still none returned. Garbage still sitting on the curb. We have been a costumer for 10 years. think they would treat a long tern customer better. not the first time this has happened
Find another company!!! Customer service is simply calling a cell phone and hoping that the woman picks up. You may get your garbage picked up, you may not some weeks. They literally will not pick your garbage up, but will pick up your neighbors (this has happened to me on at least 4 separate occasions). Then when calling to complain, the "customer service" woman will tell you that they'll be back around to pick up your garbage the very next morning, but in all actuality, your garbage will be at your curb for another 7 days!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I'm actually searching for another company and came across Coakley Disposal and felt COMPLED to leave a review of my horrible experience with them. Trust me, they didn't get their 2 star rating for nothing. THEY EARNED IT!!!
I think they're great. When I lost my job and was a few months behind in my payment to them, they didn't harass me like most companies would. I put out a lot of big stuff when I remodeled and they always picked it no questions asked. I like them a lot.
Absolutely abysmal. Driver would pick trash up at 4am, awakening the entire neighborhood. Our concerns and complaints were ignored. Beware of poor customer service if you choose to use Coakley.
They are so helpful... On a few occasions when I have forgotten to place it out the night before they have actually made a special pick-up later in the day! also very friendly in general..
After numerous complaints about the service, I called and cancelled. Often times, when the recycling was picked up, we had to go out and clean up what was spilled in our lawn and into the road. Other times, the recycling bins were not completely emptied. We went as far as filing a formal complaint with the town of Henrietta. So far, they have not picked up the garbage tote. If they do not get it soon, I will place it on the curb and place a notice on Craig's List in the 'Free' ads
I too was frustrated by not getting a bin.. they were moving and did get one to me BUT I've left plastic containers (better because they have covers in case of rain) and they empty them for recycling, and place the containers back, very neatly. They've been terrific in taking large quantities when we've emptied the garage.. They've cleaned up a mess an animal made by dumping over a container. I love Coakley. PS... I really am a customer and don't know the Coakleys personally.. but so appreciate their work.
I have had numerous problems and each time I call it takes 1-2 weeks for them to respond to resolve it. So I called and left a message to cancel my service. for over 6 months they keep sending me a bill, and I have called 7 times to answering machines and told them I am not their customer. I told them the first three times to take their totes or I am keeping them, well, 6 months of not taking your totes or returning my calls, they are my totes now. Not going to get their $44 for 1 month of unreliable service!
