Been bringing vehicles here for almost 10 years now. Never had much issue until recent. I waited over an hour on top of the normal wait time(jobs do vary but this was extensive). I was not given accurate updates on the work, nor accurate timeframes. Was charged 2.5 hours of labour for something that normally is 1.5-2 hours. I was met with great resistance when asked for a slight break on the extra labour/wait(which was justified by excuses). This is all on top of labour rates being absurdly high(everything is rising but not like this). And to top it all off, failed to perform a requested service, while most of what I've already detailed is in regards to unauthorized work with a part that I was not consulted on nor did I know they had ordered it, which resulted in part/all of the extra time and hassle. Yes things happen, and maybe it's not necessarily the shop's fault, but it sure isn't the customer's.... I will be thinking very hard before contemplating returning for services.

Worst service ever. They had the car for 3 weeks, we kept calling and they kept saying someone will look at it. After 3 weeks they can't fix it but charge us for diagnostic hours, they never asked for authorization or give an estimate. Then they had one of their guys lie to me and say they always told us it will take a while. Look for some other place save your time and money.

Quick to schedule, competitively priced, great service and nice people! Will use again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. On top of that, I needed new windshield wipers and I do believe (though not positive) that they cleaned my windshield inside and out!

We were greatly impressed with Shamrock Service Center in Honeoye Falls. My Son needed a transmission drain & refill as well as an oil change before we moved him to FL for school & the timing was tight! My husband said they were very accommodating to the date we needed the service completed. The price for the service performed was very affordable. A special touch was a thank you postcard we received about a week later. They appreciated the opportunity to serve us. I highly recommend!

has really gone downhill in terms of quality and honesty recently, have had multiple family members go here and tell me they’re getting charged truly outrageous prices for very easy jobs, wanted 400$ for literally just front brake pads, not the labor included or anything they said it would be 400$ just to buy the front brake pads on a jeep. absolutely insanity there’s no way that should cost anything more then 150 at most, also charged almost 2k dollars for a power steering pump and a control arm, they charged almost TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and they broke a sensor while doing the job as well as leaving oil/ power steering fluid all over the engine bay after charging 150$ to clean it up which they did not at all do. truly just scumbags at this point don’t know what made them change but i wouldn’t give them any of my money.

Excellent! I went in hopes of getting a tire plugged. They got me in as fast as possible and also had time to change my oil. Very professional and personable. Got me in a few days later for all new tires and an inspection. Great service to every customer that came in. Do their absolute best to fit everyone in for quality work. AND they didn’t charge an arm and a leg! Highly recommend.

Took my truck in for tires and an inspection. I used simple tire and these guys did a great job, I'll definitely be coming back. They were able to get a working horn and the tires on my truck in leas than a day. They communicated both through phone and messaging, which was very helpful for me, I appreciated it. No nonsense, didn't feel like they were looking to extract more than I wanted, painless, just the way I like it. If you're looking for straight forward service I'd recommend giving these guys a shot.

Shamrock Service Center in Honeoye Falls consistently provides outstanding car service. We have brought our car there big jobs like transmission repair or replacement to small jobs such as oil change or tire replacement. Shamrock is excellent at diagnosing tough problems. They are efficient, the staff is very kind and pleasant always, and they get the job done quickly so you can get back on the road. Try Shamrock. You will be glad you did.

If you're looking for an honest garage, this is where you should go. Todd explains EVERYTHING to you, and they are incredibly honest. I had an issue with my emissions (for NYS inspection), and he did every test and assured me that there was not a problem with the emissions system and I'd have to go to the dealer so they could update the software. He could have charged me for pieces I didn't need (like the dealer ended up doing!), but he didn't. After the dealer charged me $450 for something I didn't need, I talked to Todd at Shamrock again. He walked me through exactly what the issue was, why the dealer was wrong, printed out information that showed the dealer was wrong, and helped me understand the emissions system. I went back to the dealer - armed with info from Todd - and got my money back. There is NO WAY I would ever go to anyone other than Shamrock. Stand up employees, great service, fair prices and phenomenal customer service. =====Update 2022/10/27 Happy to report that I am still enthralled with Shamrock Service. They can always squeeze me in (even though they are always super busy) and I feel super confident that I'm getting amazing service.

Bill takes good care of us and our fleet as well as anyone we refer here. In the beginning of is bringing vehicles here we had a minor mistake made on something simple. I inquired about the matter and Bill gave me an explanation of how he got to where he is with the business and would treat me no differently. He made sure to get it right for us immediately. That says more about the integrity than if there never were a hiccup. You get what you pay for here. There's plenty more I can say about them as we've had several vehicles here but one experience that really is worth mentioning and sticks out in my mind is this. We had a fleet car with a major electrical issue two different dealers couldn't even figure out and Shamrock did right away! That was the tipping point in earning all of my business. It's difficult to find a good mechanic these days; with one visit, for even a simple oil change you'll want to do your business with them.

Shamrock service center is a great place to take your vehicle from basic service of your vehicle to major problems. All staff that I have met are very helpful and straightforward on what's needed to be done. Every time I've had to bring my vehicle in or my hubbies vehicle we have had nothing but great quality service. If you want honest quality service I would highly recommend them!

Most trustworthy auto shop I have found in the HFL area. I go here for anything more than an oil change. Communication is very good and they always keep to their promised timeline.

Shamrock services both our commercial and personal vehicles and they do an excellent job! We also rent trucks from them, as they are a local U-Haul provider. They provide expert repair service and are always very friendly and professional when communicating with us. They have been our go-to auto repair shop for 5+ years and will continue to be so!

Shamrock seems like a really credible place to go in the area. The employees were kind and easy to talk with and seemed knowledgeable. They are really professional and have a comfortable waiting area which I learned will be renovated soon. Unfortunately my first experiences were two appointments to diagnose issues where I was charged close to $100 each time and they were unable to do any work on my car either time for different reasons. Just know if you want to diagnosis a problem for your car you will probably pay a fee here close to mine. This took me by surprise the first time. Especially when some other places give car diagnoses for free.

At about 11:30 this morning, I noticed my inspection was due last month. Now that I'm working from home, I needed a shop close to home rather than close to work. My first (& only) phone call was to Shamrock Service Center in Honeoye Falls. From the moment they answered the phone, I knew it was going to be a pleasant experience. You know that feeling you get that you are dealing with someone who likes their job (Steve) and wants to please their new and/or existing customers. I have never used Shamrock for any of my car needs in the past; however, my husband has and never had a bad experience. That is what led me to call them and I am glad that I did. They were extremely busy today but they were willing to accommodate me on the same days within hours of my phone call. WOW!!! Wait it gets better, when I arrived for my appointment, they took my car right in and I was on my way home less than a half hour from the time I got there. Also, it smelled like they de-sanitized my car too. I'm not sure what took me so long to use their shop but I'm glad I did and will be a future customer.

Great people and service. Always very thorough, explain auto issues, offer options, and very fair pricing. We've taken our cars to Shamrock for 15+ years and trust them completely.

This is the only place I take my car(s). They know what they are doing and are friendly and nice while doing it, reliable and I never have to wonder if what they say needs to be done needs to actually be done. I have had friends drive 40 miles to have their car serviced here, after they saw the service and quality I received. Stand-up guys.

I no longer will go to this service center. They never fixed a problem with my car. They said they did, I drove off and a couple miles later the light came back on. I was more upset though that they charged me for something saying I authorized it, when I have a recorded phone conversation of me saying don't do these things. Then they turned around and say oh wait we never did this one thing, but charged me for it. Got a refund. Shady business though.

They never try to fix the problem, they replace a part with an over price replacement., I payed over $1500 for brakes only to be to find out I need new brakes six month later. That not service. Every time you bring in the car it will need ball joints or a tie rod..

These guys are the best. Since my first visit, I've never thought of taking my truck or my wife's Explorer anyplace else. As the owner, Bill runs a tight ship and keeps everything on track. The front-man Todd makes it seem like your best friend is fixing your car in your own garage. They always bend over backwards to keep me informed and to work within my schedule; within reason of course. I couldn't recommend them any higher. If there were 6 stars available to rate them I would.

My experience with Shamrock has never been anything but the best. Both my car, and my girlfriend's car are serviced there, and I've recommended several friends there as well over the years. Bill, Todd, and everyone else have never been anything but professional and thorough. They're direct, they don't monkey around with "maybe" and "we'll see" like other places; one might say they are almost "honest to a fault". Seriously, I don't know what's up with that other review. I've recommended Shamrock for years, and I'll do it again.
