Here’s an honest, helpful business. I was referred to MYBRS through a long line of contacts, since NYDS’s toxic dropoff site is closed for a year and since I hadn’t realized that Call2Recycle sells mail-back recycling pails (on its home page, and there’s one for defective batteries too). The MYBRS rep explained that he services mainly businesses and told me where to find that mail-back option for householders like me—and then spent time advising me on how best to store the batteries in the meantime. I hope his business customers realize what a treasure MYBRS is and treat it well.

The company I work for had just done an equipment upgrade cycle like many businesses. We had lots of old technology (CPU’s, Monitors, UPS batteries, SANS, etc.) that needed to be responsibly recycled. Thankfully the owners of the company I work for didn’t want this equipment just tossed out on the street. This is where MYBRS come into the equation. I found MYBRS online and called (I like talking to humans). I spoke with Ari who is very nice and is genuinely interested in doing this whole GREEN thing for real. I sent photos of the equipment that needed to be recycled and then a time was set-up for pick-up. If size allows the pick-ups are done with a Chevy Volt. I have used MYBRS several times and will continue to use them for all my responsible recycling needs in the future. Also a good local business to support!
