I have bought plenty of stuff there in the past. After seeing you are protesting the city putting in the bike lane which is benefitting members of our community, I will not step foot inside. Will be going to Bruno's and Amazon for my hardware needs. Also you should check your own facts, Lincoln Restler has confirmed that the fire department did in fact approve it.
Been going to this hardware store for years. Will have to stop now. Mazzone's is furiously fighting the Court St. traffic redesign which is making the street significantly safer for parents, kids, cyclists, pedestrians AND drivers. Can't support a business which is actively working to hurt the neighborhood. Lowes & Home Depot here we come...sadly.

So I got a discount coupon in August bought paint.
Didn’t redeem the coupon because I don’t come here often to at all, I always suffer buyers remorse after leaving here no matter what the purchase
I came back in September buying the same thing some paint, I pull out the coupon I was given in August.
August 2025 when I made my first purchase of paint, these scam artist redeemed the code that was literally handed to me lmfao the same day it was given.

Kevin in the paint department was awesome. I had a tiny chipped paint sample , which was too small for the machine, I needed to replicate and he took his time and expertise and got it done. Great shop - even better staff.
I call her our garden angel. Inga is absolutely wonderful! She manages the garden center at Mazzone Hardware with such knowledge, warmth, and care. Every time I visit, she takes the time to answer my questions and always points me in the right direction, whether it’s plants, soil, or supplies.
You can tell she truly loves what she does, and it makes the whole shopping experience so much better. The garden center is always well organized and inviting, thanks to her hard work. Mazzone Hardware is lucky to have her. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my garden needs! Thank you Inga and so you know, the Peace Lilly has made a full recovery.

This store has the most welcoming and helpful staff! Every time I go in, there is always someone to greet me and help me …and give my dog a treat - there’s no place better a true staple of the neighborhood. A huge thank you to all of the staff for being themselves every day.

Ahhhh..mazzone's never lets you down. Helpful staff...most items you look for are in stock..no joke, you can find items here that are hard to get ..for example things needed in an apartment that has OLD plumbing or fixtures etc.
Terrill is awesome -always helpful with my questions, goes above and beyond to help out. I had a particle board shipped to me that was too large for the drawer it was supposed to fit, and he immediately came up with a solution to make it work, even when I wasn't buying an actual product.
This is my go to store for my Benjamin Moore paint and other project items when needed. The staff is EXCELLENT and VERY HELPFUL!!! Last week when I went to pick out some paint colors a young man named Kevin had the patience of a saint. He answered my questions and showed me samples and did color matching for me as well, all with a kind attitude. I look forward to returning.
I’ve been painting every room in my apartment and Kevin has been amazingly helpful (and patient!) with making recommendations mixing all of that paint. He’s an excellent addition to the Mazzone team! Thank you.
This is such a wonderful store, Terrell and the rest of the staff give so much great information, completely different than a big box store, they know how to fix everything and explain how to use things. Wonderful for a first time novice, they take their time and are always available. And obviously also seems very useful for experienced people, so many items. So glad stores like this are still around!
This is the best Ace . They also have plenty of people to help you find even the smallest screws and they make keys with a large garden area .
I bought my grill from them and received so a great level of customer service . This is well stocked and a pleasure to shop here .
Good staff and lots of them, high standard hardware store. Not the lowest price in area but have the goods and will order them for you. Regulars can set up accounts,a real throwback and useful if your doing work in the area. Nice to be able to run in and out quick instead of waiting. The garden center is packed with plants every month except the most cold. But you have to grab things when you see them, they move quick! It’s an Ace affiliate, so the app for discounts and mailers is helpful. Watch out for real tool sales too. Got a nice Craftsman 20v drill with battery and charger for a good price.
Small store with inherently limited but broad selection that still hosts an outdoor garden section.
Well space is limited. The shop still maintains: paint, hardware and tool departments albeit with limited selection of each.
It's well staffed. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable enough to offer helpful advice.
I love this store. They have and stuff for the plants. They also have key making and more stuff like tools your gonna need in life. Thank you for making my mom smile for Mother's day. Stay bless for life.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Needed some help around smoke/CO2 detectors and got exactly what I needed, quickly and efficiently. My home is now safer, and when I checked later out of curiosity, I found out it was actually $1 cheaper than the same product at Lowe’s. A real neighborhood gem.
Good selection, service and decent prices. Used to go here when I lived in Carroll Gardens. Now I go there from Fort Greene whenever I need a particular product that is somewhat rare and it's not worth it to go all the way to Lowe's in Gowanus. Much better than the hardware store close to me in Fort Greene.
Great Hardware store, reasonable pricing, you can get it here quickly with no lines. Great Staff, very community friendly. Liz may seem like a hard person to get along with, but deep down she like a cuddly bear. Don't let her fool you. Liz manger the store for MATT.
I have purchased two Big Green Eggs from this location (as they are an authorized dealer) and have had a fantastic experience each time. This last time I worked with Liz and she made sure that I got everything I needed and was very patient when I asked for prices for each add on item . My new egg was assembled and delivered for free. Couldn't be happier with their service.
This store is a gem. I've lived in the neighborhood for just about five years, and I've been coming here just as long. I've never been disappointed. The service is amazing. Every single person makes you feel like a priority, and a sense of care just oozes out of every ounce of this spot. This is no ordinary hardware store. If only every business was run this way.
