Get a second opinion! Dude try to overcharged on a repair and made it seem like it was 2 separate problems. Went to another shop and he told me I just needed a replacement part & nothing else . Car running good again.. FYI the owner was very nice its his sneaky employee you have to watch out for

I don’t feel comfortable taking my car anywhere else. As someone who just moved here from out of state and going on a whim, I couldn’t be more grateful that I landed in Josh‘s auto repair shop. I had some engine troubles and I knew that was gonna be expensive. the final quote ended up being $1000 cheaper than we originally thought. These are good guys.
Tito and everyone at the repair shop were so helpful and kind. Our car wouldn’t start and it needed a state inspection as well and they got it done in less than 24 hours. Not only that, but they cleaned the engine for free! These people are seriously the best- don’t hesitate to bring your car here.
I can't say enough good things about this auto shop! My water pump seized unexpectedly, causing my belt to be destroyed. Despite it being after hours, they took my car in immediately and went above and beyond to help me out. They even managed to get the necessary part from their vendor, who was already closed, by pulling some strings.
The level of service was excellent, and they understood the urgency of my situation, making it their responsibility to get my car back on the road as quickly as possible. Shoutout to Josh and, my man, Tito for their courteousness and excellent service. Awhile back, I had an extremely negative experience at another mechanic who missed or didn't relay to me that my suspension (for reference, I drive a 30-year-old truck) needed to be completely rebuilt. Tito was honest with me and told me because of the age of my truck, it would be more cost effective for me to source the parts myself and use the shop for the actual labor of rebuilding the suspension. They even bought a new tool to get the job done instead of calling me and telling me I would have to take it elsewhere. They saved me mad money and built my trust in the process. I took my car there earlier this month for tune up. I have a 2020 Chevy Spark, I was a little reluctant because of the look of the shop. But decided to do the work being that I live in the neighborhood. Met Brother Tito very knowledgeable, straight forward. Got the work done very satisfied with the price and the work. Oh I'm old school Tito said no tune up, it's called service.
The service there is fantastic! Since my first oil change I have been a customer ever since and that was about 5yrs ago. Josh is thorough, knowlegeable, accommodating and does an excellent job. Hands down the best mechanic there is. I am a customer for life.

Went to Josh for my very old foreign car about 2 years ago, and I haven't had any trouble beyond regular maintenance since. The most reliable and honest mechanic in the city, hands down!
The shop was not able to fix the issue with my vehicle, but their service and honestly was outstanding. They could have given me bad advice and beat me for a few dollars, but they didn't! Definitely a spot I would recommend to others.
My car battery died and after getting a jump I needed it charged at 3:30pm on a Saturday. Josh’s auto repair was quick, kind, and very helpful! Will definitely be back.
Came here about a week ago to get car fixed. We asked Josh to check everything because we're moving to another state and didn't want to have any problems on the road. When we first went to pick the car up, the check engine light was still on. We asked if he knew why, he said he didn't put it on the machine yet. So we explained again to check everything and get back to us because we wanted to know all the problems with the vehicle. When he got back to us, he let us know what the issue was and we gave the okay to fix. When my bf went to get the car, he noticed that one of the parts that he charged us for along with labor wasn't in. It was the windshield wipers. When he went back, Josh said he forgot to do it and to asked another worker to do it. The other guy gets the wipers and asked my bf if he knew how to do it...Excuse me, but didn't you charge us for labor, but now you're asking us to do your job?? Now, I'm in the state that I moved to, not even a week later and guess what? My engine light is back on. I spoke to a friend who also used them and the same thing happened to them. They were listed as a trusted mechanic through snapfinance.com so I will be calling both to complain. I'm so disappointed at this place and I'm still in shock that a mechanic would charge for labor and parts, not put them in and then ask the customer if they're willing to do it on their own.
I have been taking my SUV to Josh for over 5 years for the service and maintenance of my car. Although I live in Long Island, I make the trip to Brooklyn to have my car repaired. He is thorough and does exactly what I need done. In addition, my vehicle is ready when promised.
Went to get a photo inspection done. the individual who was supposed to do it was out but Josh, who runs the place, was kind enough to offer to do it. i could see that he had a lot on his plate and therefore appreciated the fact that he was willing to help. It is important to understand that he did not need to. A lot of service stations have stopped offering this service and moreover, the service station gets paid close to nothing for this inspection. Josh does it because he knows it is important for people to get their insurance done. i waited for 15 min., he then took me through the process. He waited with me till i got the confirmation over e-mail. He was patient, understanding and very efficient. A genuinely good chap. a refreshing experience given the lousy service i get in New York in most other establishments, across industries. Somebody who cares - deserves the 6th and 7th star. would def. recommend his service.

Josh is a life saver, I googled for a auto repair shop and he came highly rated so I gave them a shot. And I am so happy that I did. Not only were the respectful and professional they are amazing mechanics. They fixed my car in a very timely fashion. I felt like I was in and out. They did an amazing job changing my alternator. I’m not so familiar with this place. But a close by neighbor directed me towards them while I was strended and needed help. With no hesitation Josh came and helped me. I praise God that i made this encounter today and I will definitely support their shop moving forward.
