What clients say about Google Store Williamsburg in Brooklyn (NY)

Great store! They put a new battery in my 6a for free in under 2 hours and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
They also had a great selection of books to keep me entertained lolFeb 14, 2026 -
My recent visit to the Google Store in Williamsburg was an excellent and seamless experience. The team there made my transition from an iPhone 11 Pro to the new Google Pixel 10 Pro incredibly easy.
I was immediately greeted by Kay, who was friendly and helpful from the start. Kay and Deandre were very helpful, offering a calm and reasonable approach to discuss my concerns about switching from iPhone. They provided great insights on other products, like the Pixel earbuds and watch, which helped me make a well-rounded decision.
Jonathan was very knowledgeable about the Pixel 9 Pro and 10 Pro, helping me choose the best phone for my needs. Finally, Mike went above and beyond by helping me resolve a frustrating issue with an expired online promo code and misinformation from a Google Fi employee.
The entire team: Kay, Mike, Jonathan, and Deandre, demonstrated outstanding service and product knowledge. I highly recommend this store to anyone, especially those considering a switch from another platform.Jan 16, 2026 -
There are not enough stars for this store. I had cancelled my order at the Chelsea store because they preferred to lecture me over my LEGAL name printed on my ID and laugh at my annoyance that they were willing to "overlook it" this one time (though I picked up many items there before with no problem). The Google rep I spoke to when I cancelled asked if I would prefer to have it delivered instead of cancelling. It's three days before Christmas, so no. "I would be willing to pick it up in Brooklyn." So one hour before they closed I placed the order, assuming I would get it this week. I got the email saying they would notify me when it was ready to be picked up with today's date. I thought it must be a typo, but I took the train to Brooklyn and 15 minutes before closing I ran in and had the audacity to sheepishly ask if it could possibly be ready even though I hadn't received the pick up notification. Any normal person would've given me attitude at least, but no. The great people in the Williamsburg store said they would if they could but couldn't promise. And they made it happen. With no snide remarks or frowns. I would've been fine if it were impossible because they were so friendly about my (completely unreasonable) request. This branch, I swear to God, restored my faith in humanity. I will never go back to the Chelsea store with their stuck up, snide, opinionated employees. Call me petty if you want, but if I'm spending $500 there after spending $1000 last week, then you can keep your untequested commentary about my name and your willingness to work with me "just this once" to yourself. Chelsea needs to take some "how to treat customers" lessons from Williamsburg.

I've been a Pixel phone user for at least 5 years now. This is the first time my phone screen broke, and I was just out of warranty. I brought it to this Google store for repair. (Made an online appointment) The store itself was beautiful, inviting and just a pleasure to be in. I was there on a Sunday and it was fully staffed with smiling friendly people that were super helpful. 2 of them were making and handing out free hot chocolate to customers. I kept asking myself if this was real. I gave my phone for repair to the tech and expected to pay out the nose. I was first quoted only $180 for a full screen replacement. That's a amazing deal considering what other places charge. A new screen on Amazon costs $200 and you have to figure out how to install that yourself. I of course agreed and they told me to come back in 2 hours to pick it up. Again, this was on a Sunday. I expected much slower service. I came back a little early expecting to wait a long time but the tech there said my was is ready for me. After double-checking that everything works with me, when I was ready to pay, the tech told me they are not charging me for the repair. Apparently, this particular issue happened to some other people recently and they are investigating the problem, as well as extending the warranties to these particular devices. I was shocked not just by the customer service but the dedication and standing behind their products. I'm still floored. I'm so glad to be a Pixel user and live close to this wonderful store.

My phone died today while I was walking by the store, so I decided to stop in and ask for help. The team here was absolutely amazing — super friendly, attentive, and they immediately offered me a charger.
Even though I didn’t buy anything today, the kindness and service I received were incredible. I’m definitely coming back next time to make a purchase.
Thank you to the store and the Google staff for not leaving me stranded. Even such a small situation showed how genuinely helpful you are.Dec 06, 2025 -
Service was excellent. Employees were friendly, thorough and polite. Very professional. One however kept trying to o push me into getting the pixel watch 4 when I really only wanted the 3. Yes I was able to get the 3 but it was another employee

Visited the store last night to update from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel 10 Pro. While the staff were very friendly, they were technically incompetent in dealing with the transfer of phone data / dealing with Pixel technical errors during the transfer (freezing of progress during transfer). As a result, we lost a good amount of locally stored media, some contacts, and roughly 20% of installed apps. We felt pressured by one employee to proceed with factory resetting the trade-in phone after the botched data transfer attempts (with assurance that everything should be transferred), and now we have to deal with the consequences. The staff were very apologetic that data were lost, but this is supposed to be a place that the Google community can trust with this simple of a task.Putting this review out there to caution others.

I would never have thought that I would find an official Google store in such a NYC location. If you're in Brooklyn and love Google products as much as I do, be sure to check this place out. A charming shop, probably built in an old garage, with extremely professional service. You'll be warmly welcomed, and the staff will introduce themselves to you like friends. You'll discover new products, learn about Pixel's history, and see the phones from the inside. You'll get a taste of the fun of VR from Google. Check it out!

Went to Google Store to get my phone repaired. They replaced the battery but since then the fingerprint sensor, the front camera weren't working. Realized after I got back home.
Contacted customer service and they can't proceed because the store has not closed the RMA. Horrible experienceNov 09, 2025 -
These guys are scammers and I don't recommend anybody purchasing from Google. Here is my terrible experience:
- They told me that if I bought the pixel 10 base model I would receive a prepaid MasterCard of $100 within 14 days
- 1 month later, I still haven't received it
- I called the support center, and told me the offer was only for the pro models
- went to the store, and they told me that the offer also applied for the base model (they contradict themselves!! In the store they say one thing and when you call they say another thing.)
- I went back to the store and they told me they would reach back to me regarding this. 10 days later, STILL NOTHING.
Worst customer experience I had in my life. I TREMENDOUSLY regret purchasing the pixel 10Oct 22, 2025 -
Had to go in to get my phone battery replaced. The store itself is clean and organized. Theres a very comfortable seating area while you wait. But I think the real stars of the show are the staff there. Customer service was amazing. I was assisted by Jaime and Antonio. They were incredibly understanding and were able to assist me quickly and efficiently. There was also another member of staff who offered me water while I waited for my repairs to be completed. This has been the best experience I've had at any tech shop.

Tony is the bomb. 1st time in this particular location and staff was actually friendlier than recent visits to the Chelsea location. And the area is very cool. In store pickup of my online order was a breeze and Tony helped me try on and decide on various watch bands to purchase. He was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this store!

Had a great experience at the Williamsburg google store. I stopped by to get a new charger for my pixel watch, and the people at the tech bar were very friendly and ended up finding one for me for free. Really appreciate the customer service and how helpful everyone was!

I went to the store to pick up my new pixel 10 pro, and the gentleman who helped me was EXTREMELY helpful! (I wish I could remember his name). I had lost my old phone (it was destroyed) and I wanted to try and activate it in the store before leaving with their wifi. He tried everything he could to help me, let me use a chrome book, offered a charger and helped with any questions I had. Unfortunately I could not get my phone started with out going home (not his fault). He even gave me directions to the nearest ATT store which I decided not to go to and just took the hour drive home in traffic. Over all im very happy with my new phone and the service provided by the gentleman in the store. I don't think he will remember me, but if he reads this, THANK YOU!

The staff at the Google Store were polite and helpful, which made the buying process smooth. Unfortunately, the product itself didn’t fully meet my expectations—it felt underwhelming for the price and features. While the service was good, I’d recommend doing more research on the product before purchasing.

First class service from Antonio. He helped us through the entire process of trading in a phone and setting us up on a new Pixel 10. Answered all questions in a friendly manner and made sure we were all set before leaving.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Unfortunately though when I went in previously to get my phone screen repaired, they said they didn't at the time have the calibration tools for the biometrics as the Pixel 9a was still new at the time. The staff took down my information and promised to contact me for when I could come in to get this fixed, but I never received a phone call over the past several months, and seemingly there is ZERO way to get in contact with the physical store. I even talked to google support and even they said there is no way to email or call the store.

For some strange reason, my pixel 7 stopped recognizing my location. I tried everything, soft reset, deleting maps and then reinstalling maps, reset network, reset my location etc.... I reached out to Google via chat on my phone, and they were unable to help. So I decided, to drive down to the Google store and Jonathan and from the help desk was able to troubleshoot my issue. He checked to make sure it was not a hardware issue and then proceeded to check the software. For some strange reasons, my pixel did not prompt me to update my system os and that screwed my location settings up on the back end. Jonathan (Sunday, August 10) quickly figured it got my phone working properly again. The sales staff was also extremely helpful in initially trying to help me out and then quickly set me up with the help desk bar.

I intended to write a service review. But for some reason the message disappeared after I updated Google Messages. But I wanted to take the time to compliment the store and especially the first-rate service given to me by Jonathan. He was knowledgeable, patient, and in all ways helpful. Really good experience at this store. The entire staff said thank you on my way out. I won't need to get a new phone for a while. But Google has a loyal customer.

Love this store! Kay, Tony, and Jordan made my experience incredible with their friendliness, transparency, and customer service. Came in to get my screen repaired and buy a new screen protector and they had me taken care of before the end of the day. Can't recommend enough!

I am so happy my niece and I went to the Google store for her screen replacement. Diagnostics showed it was software and camera issues as well, highlighting the benefits of a shock absorbing case I normally use. I felt completely comfortable having the issues addressed at an official Google store since so much of our information is integrated with our phones. Most of our interaction was with Kay. She is genuinely warm, friendly, understanding and helpful. Everyone we interacted with are good PEOPLE. Although it is much easier to order a phone online, (which Google does right) I will take the 45 minute drive to purchase my next phone at the store.

Very friendly staff. They helped a tremendous amount when my pixel 9a wouldn't turn on (something wrong with the motherboard). They offered a new phone, no extra charges.

Came to the Google Store in Williamsburg about six months ago to buy my Pixel 9 Pro. Dropped by again recently to grab a new skin for it, and to my surprise, Mike—the store manager—actually remembered me. He offered genuinely helpful support, which I really appreciated. It's a retail store at the end of the day, but the service stood out. Thanks to Mike and the team for making the experience smooth and pleasant.

Fast experience claiming the extended warranty in my pixel 8 screen process was really fast , just a couple of questions and a waiting time of less than 2 hours (estimated time of repair), the people in the store are really nice and make you feel welcome , they are quick to answer your questions

This store could greatly benefit from new management. Fatima & her team deserve praise for rescuing my botched online order. The manager, unfortunately, was rushed, jumped to conclusions, and made incorrect assumptions about my store credit, seeming unfamiliar with company policies. He even insinuated I was exploiting a "loophole," a situation clearly addressed in Google's own guidelines. Other customers have reported similar experiences of feeling dismissed or even "ganged up on" by staff, particularly with trade-in inquiries or complex technical questions.
The Google Store in Williamsburg has some truly fantastic employees who go above and beyond to help customers. However, the current management situation detracts from the overall experience. Google, please address these concerns and empower your stellar staff to provide the level of service they're capable of!Sep 01, 2024 -
I was here to pick up my pixel 7 yesterday and the process was quick and painless. The staff was great and attentive. This was my first time at the Google store in Brooklyn and it looked amazing! Happy to see that it's in Brooklyn so that I can easily purchase future pixels phones and not rely on the postal service. So far im enjoying my new phone!
11/17/23 - Came back to take advantage of the early Black Friday deals! Thank you to the Brooklyn Google team!Nov 18, 2023 -
The store is beautiful and full of employees,
The problem was not their professional knowledge on the products, but the customers experience. They can split cash and card in the store, like basic stuff. Everything goes like a very slow process.
At first I thought it was the employee shift of the day, but I've been there two times and the other shift is exactly the same!
So you can pay only on cash or card but you can't split it!
Eventually I brought the products because I love the Pixel devices! Better to purchase online!Jan 17, 2023 -
Door was open by the staff and everyone tried their best to ask if you need help. Too bad I am already invested in other home network and on a iOS phone.
This space is big and plenty to look at. However the place isn't very popular. I see sitting space with bench to just chill. Don't know why they copy apples version of a store but maybe I don't know better.
I honestly think they shouldn't copy another store model as it doesn't with googles image. Also where are the chromebook?Jan 07, 2023 -
The Google Store in Williamsburg is the best way to experience Google products. Theres another location in Chelsea in Manhattan but that one is way too busy and there's always alot going on. The Chelsea location is also smaller. This Williamsburg store is open, spacy, and really easy to explore since almost no one is here. I had a good experience checking out cases for my Pixel 6 Pro and the Pixel Stand. I was greeted and had a good chat with the associate about all things Google. Security is also present and has to open the door for you. It's always locked. A safe and secure experience. Not to forget that it's easy to get to with trains too! Right near the L at Bedford Ave. No need to walk far like the Chelsea store. 10/10. Coming here again next time there's a new Google product.
