Yes, older black man, (I'm black too, so no judgement, just observation). Walks with a limp, he is very very rude! If there was a lower star it would be with his name on it! Took my battery for warranty exchange due to defect, he passed it through one uncertified reading and denied me and my machanic's report of bad battery, walked away leaned on desk and left me shocked by his arrogance. Took battery to another Autozone, they ran a complete test found the battery was in fact 'Bad', replaced it with a new one and a new warranty was applied! This guy is so hoodie, it's why other street mechanics work on his property, they have better social skills!

!!This auto zone Sales use parts..!! besides give me my money back less 3 dollars. is . Try to get away by walking back and forth . Took 30 min to come back return my money . back but less money .i went to get a Maf sensor turn up the one they have on stock are use . All of them . But they sale Eather way . I have the feeling the employees swapping the use n new parts with the fake mechanic are outside at the parking lot . Very unprofessional / rude employees / so difficult people to deal on a nice sunny Saturday. So sad so miserable . DONT GO TO THIS STORE unless u really have the energy ….. manager name as Mike needs help asap before he loss he’s job . No joke .

Highly disappointed I went in the store to purchase a few things manager was very unprofessional unpleasant no manners at all I asked for help and he denied it and told me NOOOO AND KEPT LOOKKING INTO HIS PHONE AND HES A MANAGER HE HAD GLASSES ON ILL MAKE SURE ILL REPORT HIM HOW COULD YOU GUYS HAVE SUXH A DISRESPECTFUL PERSON LIKE THIS WORKING THERE REFUSING TO HELP THE CUSTOMER WVERYONE PRACTICALLY IGNORE ME !!!! Never again will I go into this store SMH I FEEL DISCRIMINATED!!!!!!

A person said he was a supervisor named rahman call me foolish because I gave him the car registration to lookup. For a part, that I need ,, after I gave him the registration he kept asking me what kind of car is it , I told him that he’s holding the registration, but I answered him Rahman I never buy from your company again I will choose another one

The customer service here is unacceptable. The staff was unprofessional and shockingly rude throughout my interaction. I was spoken to with a tone that was completely inappropriate, and no one seemed interested in resolving my issue. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

BEWARE of the men in the parking lot saying they’re mechanics and want to help you! I let a man put in my new battery the car wouldn’t start after that. I had to pay $160 for a tow truck across the street to my actual mechanic. Who told me that I did need a new battery and nothing else was wrong with it. Don’t trust those raggedy parking lot men. They don’t know what they’re doing!!

Horrible Every time I come here, it's like pulling teeth. They're very rude and combative. Ready to fight almost I just came in to ask about a product , I was told and I quote " I don't know i have a new car" who cares about what you have does it work or doesn't it work smh. I'll def be calling corporate. How can you work at a place and not be knowledgeable about the items in the place you work at, the proceed to be rude.

I went to auto zone because I was having a problem starting my car. The people working there were the BEST. They tested the battery, showed me the failed reading. Sold me the correct battery for my 2020 Honda Passport and installed it for free. Wonderful experience, wonderful people working at the Brooklyn, Hamilton Ave store, and very good price.

One of the worst Autozone location ever Rude, unprofessional , unfriendly place They don’t care about customer On Tuesday January/07/2025. I came here at 9:45 pm But the online it says they close 10 PM. I drove all the way from queens to here for nothing. What kind employee is that if they don’t care about customers. The owner must take action against them bout timing saying one thing but they doing their own thing like employees make their own timing schedule for timing close the store I never recommend this place to anyone who’s coming here. This AutoZone location 975 on Atlantic avenue is the worst. Every time I come here and ask for assist ance whether it be a check engine light check or a battery check. They always say their system is down almost sooner than I can get the words out. They can't even look me in my face and tell me that honestly. It is truly just a matter of them being lazy which I do not appreciate. I wish there was somebody upper level who can make them perform their duties. Rightfully so.

This is the most unfriendly place in Brooklyn. Very poor knowledge and on top very rude. This was not the first time. Do yourself a favor and go to another place. And to the manager: give your staff some education in customer service and about the material they are supposed to sell

Nice, clean, organized store. Joey was very helpful as this was my first time buying oil n filter for my car. He made it easy clear for me to understand and he gave me confidence on changing my oil on my own.

I was physically attacked by the store manager who broke my new iPhone in 1000 pieces only because I asked for a return and refund after 10minutes I purchased the Item Stay away and let this store go out of business

This time I called and they said they had the part and did, unfortunately this is not always the case. They will have you drive down to get the parts and when you get there they don't have them. Very expensive. Only get the little things like oil or coolant. Order online and save up to 70%. I have stood waiting for customer service for 15 minutes while I listen to the service people having private conversations with friends.

The Manager was sitting on the counter as I walked in. He then obnoxiously yelled out what you need!. I asked a question in which he directed me to the item section. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find it so I went back to him and explained the way the items are set up is a bit confusing. he replied if you ain't see it it's not there never leaving his seat on the counter I just walked out.

Poor customer service, faulty battery. Purchased a pricey new battery that turned out to be dead on arrival. AAA confirmed the issue. Returning the battery was even worse – the manager Michael was dismissive and rude. No apology, just made me feel unwelcome. Will shop elsewhere next time.

horrible customer service..I came to buy a battery last week and asked to be swapped out..im told the person that does that is not here..then today on my way to work at 740am on Saturday..people waiting outside and staff in the building with the door locked and cant even come and explain why they wont let customers in after opening hours...JUST HORRIBLE NEWS

The most nastiest and very unprofessional commercial manager i ever encountered he should get fired asap . He needs staff/hospitality training asap does not know how to deal with real costumers with commercial accounts. His entire energy and personality gives off a very bad negative energy and has unlicensed mechanics working outside in the parking lot taking up costumers parking spots even the handicapped parking and i seen him take money from these fake mechanics he lets them work on cars right in the parking lot and he sees a percentage of what they make its very illegal and this needs to stop and its not just this particular AutoZone it's all of the autozones this needs to stop. Fire him asap his so called name that he gave me was "Michael" smh
