This place they are lazy my husband go to scan the car because he have the check engine light on and they tell him take it and do it and then they don’t said nothing and even don’t give him a paper about what going on 🤦♀️ People like that should be fired since they don't help make a good impression on the store.

On 1/29!25 I stopped in to get new wipers for Nissan Rogue I paid for them and walked to label shopper because the attendant said he was going to place them on . I pointed him to the only white Nissan rouge in the parking lot. When I got home 45 minutes later, I noticed my wiper blades were never placed on vehicle . My card was charged $49. Today I went in and I asked for an upgrade due to my inconvenience in the wiper blades. The lady stated they were upgraded . Once again a lie. They were the same exact wipers . DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. They stole from me. They charged my card and never gave me the product.

I can’t remember if his name was Brandon or Brennen. But called in a rush to find some plug wires for my girlfriends car, which was stranded in Lake George, he was quick let me know they didn’t have any but the south-glens falls store did which was only 10-15 minutes away from where I was going anyways. Fast picking up the phone, fast parts look up and fast letting me know where to go.

The Manager here at the Johnstown NY location was very helpful and did everything she could to help me find the right parts for my car at the cheapest prices. Very professional and helpful. Showed courtesy and respect toward me and others that were in the store and was very helpful and in a timely manner. Good job Advanced you have a great person running your store!!!

They usually have the parts I need in stock. If not, they can order them. I was a little disappointed to find out they no longer carry car service manuals.

On New Year’s Day we were in need of a new battery, Katie waited on us, she was amazing! She couldn’t install one as my mom had a push button start but followed through with everything until we were on our way again. What an amazing employee you have! Thank you, Katie

Truckstop meets restaurant meets Walmart meets coffee shop meets convenience store. Great spot to get off the road for a bit. Be aware of road construction nearby.

Usually have what ya need if they don’t there are plenty of other Advanced Auto stores nearby to get you what you need. Typically I call these guys and then check auto zone across the street and go with who ever is cheaper. Staff is actually knowledgeable here that’s a big plus.

Staff has no idea what thay are doing if it isn't in the computer thay don't know what to do took in a simple fitting for a gas line didn't matter what it was for could not handle a replacement line . it was a simple section of 3/8 th tubing for a tractor

So I have had a problem with my gas cap for awhile now , I have gone to the Advanced Auto in Gloversville at least 3 times and they still couldn’t help and or figure out what was wrong. I was on my way to Amsterdam and I decided to stop here. Audrey was VERY respectful. She helped more then Gloversville did all three times put together. She tried 2-3 different gas caps and different ways to put them on and still was have trouble. Then Nick came over and looked at it and realized what the problem was and fixed it right away.. I love the fact they didn’t stop until they fixed the problem. They made me feel more comfortable having my children on the car on long trips , not at least I know we won’t get stranded. I got what I needed, however the customer service is horrible. Clearly states in the ad that there was a sale on oil and filter plus a rebate for $15 gift card. The associate, upon giving me the receipt and rebate form tells me it’s a promotion and I already got the savings. I sat in the parking lot and filled out the rebate online.....plus, I asked to give my phone for my rewards and the associate said it wasn’t needed....glad I know what I’m looking for or I’d be in trouble.

Bought my front brakes (whole system) and when I went to pick them up the employee saw that i was disabled and brought it all out to my car and put it in the car for me. Brought back the core parts and since i paid on my card it automatically goes back to the card and all receipts are now safely with my records. I would say this experience was one of the best i have had with a parts store.

I purchased lifetime warranty brakes. I was told the information would always be kept in their system. so when I would need it, replacement was easy. I paid extra for those brake pads. But just try to get these people to honor their warranty and they have all kinds of excuses. "Well you need your paper work, well we don't sell those anymore, they are from 6 years ago, we only sell limited warranty. Every excuse in the book. My advise is to go to auto zone where they actually do what they say they will do. If you shop at Advance Buyer be ware.
