I played in a charity tournament. From the greeting at the club drop off to the lunch, course conditions , drinks and dinner. Everything was a great time for a great day for Buffalo hearing and speech.
With the lake view off in the distance, beautiful lockers, incredible food, friendly service and a tricky and tight course layout, I would definitely recommend trying to get out there if possible. There for a member guest and everyone was so welcoming and we had an absolutely great time. Thanks for the hospitality and can't wait to get back!
Born and raised in Wanakah first time here. I'm 71! Very nice good buffet breakfast for a celebration of life. Staff very accommodating beautiful view of Lake Erie vourse looks grrrrrrr8!!
A very nice facility with an average golf course. Great service, nice dining rooms, great scenery, but there is nothing exceptional about the course itself.
Had a delicious Easter Buffet, as usual, though at $60 a plate you'd better get seconds. Staff is very friendly, regardless of the time of year, and is very accommodating.

The professional and club house staffs were very helpful and accommodating. Superb golf course. Very good meal. Don't miss a glass of wine on the patio while enjoying the fantastic scenery.
Prestigious old fashion country club. Beautiful setting overlooking golf course and lake. Great, friendly service, well balanced aromatic food, (its not easy to deliver 150 main dishes warm and tasty), clean locker rooms and fun bar area for sports events, great for weddings, etc.
Having been to many different functions from Gala's, fund raisers, cocktail parties, anniversaries, birthday parties, and weddings I would highly suggest this venue for an event. The only thing I didn't care for was that they had has in two different rooms and we couldn't see the bride and groom during dinner or hear the speeches that great. It wasn't that large of a wedding either. Other than that the food, service, ambience, and location were fantastic! Overall I would give WCC a 4.5 review.
It was spectacular! We entertained out of town guests and they were as impressed with the food, exciting new clubhouse and the view from the new patio as we were . Congratulations to one and all. And thank you.

Challenging course, well kept. Beautiful view of the water from the clubhouse. Clubhouse is VERY nice. The food they were serving was top notch. Pool area looked great. Seemed like being a member here would be pretty nice, I was there as a guest for a tournament.
Held my future daughter in law's bridal shower here several weeks ago. Kevin and staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. The food was delicious, the young servers were very helpful AND friendly. Beautiful setting. Would highly recommend.
With a view of Lake Erie and gorgeous grounds, this was one of the nicer wedding venues on appearance alone. The staff is very professional. The facilities are very well kept and clean. The food meets the standards for the rest of the place as well. Excellent location for an outdoor wedding.
I grew up going to wanakah and learned how to swim, dive and play tennis and golf there. Two years ago I had my wedding there and they were PHENOMENAL every step of the way down to the last deal. The manager Kevin is an absolute pro and super knowledgeable and easy to work with. The wait staff was amazing as well. So many things i left up to them to decide and I was never once disappointed in their decision or advice. Could not say enough good things about the club it is a wonderful oasis and the staff is always amazing.
Brunch here is phenomenal, they offer a buffet style or a multi course offering, the beautiful architecture and the live classical music are a nice touch as well
Just one of the nicest places to enjoy the hospitality of friends. I had the best time golfing with my friends. Anyone who wants to join should just reach out and get invited to play a Round of Golf and enjoy the remarkable Hospitality. It is so convenient to drive from Downtown Buffalo and with many young professionals looking for a great place to enjoy the Membership is quite reasonable.
