Helpful staff. Didn't try to sell me on other things. Just did the job effectively and efficiently- I really appreciate that! Would go again and recommend!
This guy literally lied about having specific tires in stock and we drove 45 minutes in crap weather only to find out he didn't, whereupon he tried to upsell and claim a lesser mile tire, which was much more expensive, was better because the lower cost tire would "rot out". What a jerk....lost out on an $800 sale and any future business at any Pep Boys. So tired of scumbag businesses.. if they lie about something as basic as that then what else are they lying about? Meanwhile, lost out on replacement tires elsewhere. Wasted an entire day. Time is money.
Fast and efficient. Bought tires through TireRack, had them shipped to this location and scheduled through TireRack. They were expecting me when I showed up, price was what I was quoted online, team was friendly and helpful.
Staff at front desk courteous, technicians are thorough. Repairs completed in a timely manner. Always done right the first time. Always a good experience at this location.
This place was phenomenal , They did my brakes and rotors and oil change, and it was quickly, with details of what was done. Definitely am using this place again. Prices are are reasonable too.

Went to get my car inspected and it was great. The technician was also super helpful. I put my snow tires on myself for the first time and I had the tread going the wrong way, and they rotated my tires for me at no cost and he showed me which way the tread should be facing correctly. I’ll definitely go back for any future service. Great guys. 10/10
They had appts open next day from when I had my vehicle repaired. Went in for an inspection. They were friendly, curious, and efficient. I would definitely go back
They were able to get me in early and address my car battery. The sales associate contacted me to let me know the price, duration of service, and diagnosis of my existing battery. 👌👍
Don't bother setting up an appointment. The system that sets it up does not communicate with the shop. So I drove my vehicle that I just had $4k of work done on, which needed an alignment, to the shop, just to have them tell me they have no tech. Will never have my business, thank you
This location always takes great care of me. I recently popped a tire and needed my new ones ordered. Rather than wait until my Tuesday appt, they got the tires in early on Monday and serviced them right away. They’re always looking for what’s best for their customers, and do a great job remembering me every time I come in. Tim is especially great! Very thorough and thoughtful.
My inspection was a couple of days past due, so I needed an appointment quickly. I booked online Saturday for a Sunday appointment, and about a half hour before the appointment, I got a call that they didn't have any technicians in to complete a state inspection. The guy who called told me I could go to their location on McKinley if I wanted to get it done that day. However, there was a good bit of a wait, so I ended up going home and rebooking online for a weekday appointment.
I got to my appointment about ten minutes early and when I walked in, the man at the counter asked me, "You here for an inspection?" and called me by name. I confirmed he was correct. It felt good to be expected. They took my car back immediately and were done very quickly.
Their waiting area is comfortable and clean. Parking was easy. The location is convenient at the corner of Southwestern and Camp - easy in and out if you're making a right turn!
Excellent experience from start to finish! I was greeted with a friendly smile and hello from Don as soon as I entered the shop. Don complimented and reassured me on my tire purchase choice and also listened to my situation leading up to that morning. He confirmed my appointed details and got to work right away the tire service. The whole process took under an hour. The customer service and quality was top notch. I’ll continue using this location for all future service needs.
I have been going to this location for 5+ years. Primarily for oil changes, brake inspection/work, and tire rotation/installation. The last few visits have gradually gotten worse each time. This last time might be the last time I visit. Oil filter was not properly installed. Oil leaked all over my concrete driveway.
Next visit went substantially better. The guys were able to install new tires, front rotors, calipers, and brakes on a Sunday. Tim (the counter guy) went above and beyond to make this all work. Excellent job.
i’ve only been here twice and each time was a pleasant experience! they have great customer service and aren’t one of those places that try and suck all the money out of you. genuine and nice people, highly recommend!
Made appointment for 1pm to get 4 new KO3’s installed. Arrived a bit early, friendly staff took care of that and state inspection quicker than I expected. Very happy with my experience.
Scheduled appointment for an inspection, was in early and out in less than 30 minutes. Good customer service and comfortable waiting area. I will definitely be back.
I needed to have my NYS vehicle inspection so I went on line in the morning and was able to book an appointment in the afternoon. It was about 30 minutes total for the inspection to be completed. The staff were great and also checked on a couple things I was told I needed to have done by my local dealer and they did not see anything that was needing to be replaced or fixed.... Over all a great experience. I will be back again.
Don and his team are fantastic. I was in to have snow tires mounted on loose wheels recently. Within an hour of dropping off the wheels and tires, Don had them mounted, balanced and ready to be loaded up. Keep in mind this was literally the day before the first snow storm of the season and I made the appointment only 20 minutes before showing up. Insane they were able to accommodate me when other shops told me it would be multiple weeks before they could get me in.
I stopped in again today to get my inspection done and Don and his team didn’t disappoint. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The tech (I believe it was Elliot) was respectful of my car while they had it in their possession. Just like my previous time in, I made this appointment only 20 minutes before showing up and they still were able to get me in and out (sorry I keep doing this).
I do all of my own work but for anything I can’t do (inspections, alignments etc) I’ll be stopping in here from now on.
Very satisfied with service at 5071 Southwestern Blvd in Hamburg, NY. Every time I have gone to them, I have been happy with the service. They are friendly,, they let you know what your car needs and explain the steps to complete the work. Thanks guys.
Been here a few times and always happy with the service. I always make an appointment, which I believe definitely helps. With my last visit, I was told they were a little backed up. Even though there were other customers waiting, my car was serviced within a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely be returning in the future.

These guys are amazing ! The gentleman at the front desk was amazing, first time going there ! I made the appointment online did not realize that I was supposed to check if I was a drop off or going to wait for the vehicle And when I went in there, he explained to me that I hit a drop off and that my schedule time was only for drop off. So he then was able to show me and he was able to work his magic and move things around and was absolutely phenomenal I was in and out in about an hour. I highly recommend Pep Boys on rt 20 and camp Road in Hamburg.!! Thank you so much to these guys !
Making an appointment online is very easy and convenient. Being able to drop my vehicle off early helps with my busy schedule and being able to pick it up when it’s done. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They never try to push extra services, been going to the Hamburg location for 3 yrs now.
Tim helped me set up an appointment over the phone and taught me a lot of basic car info, he was very kind and patient and helpful.
Don did the work for me and was so communicative and helpful. I really felt like he did his best to make sure my car had what was needed, he also did his best to save me some money.
I will definitely come back here, thank you guys for being so helpful!
Update for 2024 ... Still wonderful. Oil change and tire rotation. Great place. Quick, friendly, knowledgeable.
2023 I had an oil change today. Both Tim and Don were super. They answered my questions and made everything quick and easy.
I has another great experience here. Tim was super helpful. I’ve gotten inspections, an oil change and tire rotation here. I’ll be coming back.
Plus their shop is large enough to handle small RVs. Clean bathroom.
