Just wanted to say thank you to green leaf for coming back up to pick up my garbage:). I accidentally slept in and forgot to take my garbage this morning. I called them and they sent a truck right back up!!:) plus, they were very kind and accommodating on the phone! They understand that we all forget sometimes!! Greenleaf has been by the far the cheapest Trash service for my 6 unit Apartment building. Not only are they responsive but incredibly friendly whenever I’ve called. They have got it together and as a business owner I appreciate that.

Greenleaf Recycling has provided excellent service throughout the years of working with them. They are on time and don't have any issues when large cardboard boxes aren't broken down!

Strong communication allows us to know when to expect pick-up during holiday weeks. Our cans/bins are left neatly and carefully which we greatly appreciate!

We had been a customer of Foster’s for over 30 years and was always pleased with their service. Greenleaf was sort of “forced” on us when they bought out Fosters. Starting with being double billed and being hard to reach by phone should have given me an idea that things would be different with Greenleaf. Then their request that garbage be out by 2 a.m. which gives the local wildlife plenty of time to get into it before it is picked up usually between 10 and noon. This past week I put a bag of yard trimmings out with my regular garbage. They took the garbage but left the trimmings. When I called I was told that “the rules have changed” and they now longer take yard waste. However, when I checked their website it says that they take “yard debris”. Maybe I will put the bag out again next week and see if the rules have changed by then. So frustrated!!!!

One morning I went out to my car as my garbage was getting picked up. I shouted “good morning” to the crew - who seems surprised but then happy that I’d said hello. A few weeks later, I was going out to warm up my car and I was in a grumpy mood. The garbage crew saw me and shouted “good morning” to me. It instantly put a smile on my face. It’s that extra bit of customer service that I truly appreciate!

We have been extremely happy with the Greenleaf company since they seamlessly took over Fosters dusposal business. They are always at our home early and when able to catch them, find them very friendly. They send out flyers on ocassion letting us know of changes in the pickup s heduke when there is a holiday, so there’s no confusion. Keep up the great work!

We switched to this company from Casella a few months back and do not regret anything other than wishing we had done it sooner. The prices are reasonable and competitive. The staff are respectful and accommodate our needs. Green Leaf handles our street side waste with ease and are so considerate. They treat us like humans and not just another account, definitely a reliable company. Great job, keep up the good work!

Greenleaf Recycling has been great to me being a new customer since January 2023. More than once they have taken upon themselves to retrieve my tote from the driveway when I forgot to put it to the curb. Always willing to do an extra pickup without hesitation. I recommend them highly!

I inherited Foster's service when I moved into my home in Dec 2023. They were acquired by Greenleaf shortly thereafter, and I am happy with the new service! Great to have an autopay option. Whenever I call with a question, the staff are friendly and helpful.

I have used Greenleaf Recycling/Garbage service since it became available in my area in Tioga County, NY in 2021. I love that I can put out recycling every week. Also if I need to call their office for anything, I receive a well informed, polite person on the phone, not an answering machine. I highly recommend this service.

Greenleaf took over our garbage pickup from the family owned company we had for many years. They have continued great service and have not jacked up the cost to loyal customers of the previous business, which is much appreciated!

We have been with Green Leaf Recycling for a year now and has been nothing short of excellent service. The people who pick up our garbage do an awesome job and make sure our containers are put back and tops on. Properly!! Drivers are always polite when we have had to speak with them. I also had missed one week and they came back on a different day as I had alot of garbage. They went above and beyond. They take pride in their work and that means alot and I respect that. Greenleaf took over Diamond Disposal a year ago. I have been happy with their service. They keep customers informed on Facebook. They return my questions on email. I would highly recommend them.

I was with Fosters for over 20 years. Greenleaf has made the transition seamless. The service has been excellent thus far, and communication with the office has been timely and professional.

We go through Greenleaf recycling now for our garbage since our Corning service changed. We have had nothing but good reports towards them. Great price Nice people are very willing to work with you. Five stars for Greenleaf recycling

Way overpriced, I pay a local 40$ even less then that a month while you tried sending me a 200$ bill for one month. Then kept charging my house/name for the last few months even tho I didn't even use the company for trash and threatened to turn me into collections. Joke of a company and the prices are ridiculous. Check local people who pick trash up and help someone with a honest living!! Can't respond to them, but I still have the ridiculous receipt the company sent after this joke of a company took over a good company (fosters) and we did call, as soon as we got that first ridiculous bill from you jokes we called and cancelled. Along with the others that called and cancelled because your ridiculous prices. I don't know where you get 39$ from because the bills you kept sending didn't add up to 39$, better check in with your payroll team. Or you should run a better business! I will post on Facebook with the receipts and tag the company if you want to see what you sent me, joke of a company

We recently switched from Casella to Greenleaf and are very happy with the services and cost in comparison. Our first week, the recycling was missed so we called and they came back to pick it up the same day with no other issues since.

(Original 2 star review for context, see update below) This company took over from Foster's, a great company to do business with. When I got my new bill with the new company, I was a little surprised that my price had more than doubled for the service I was getting. Contacted them, and they basically told me "Oh well, just deal with it.". Their customer service was responsive even on a weekend through Facebook chat, but I suspect that was likely due to the influx of people messaging for the same reason as me. I cannot in good faith recommend this company , though I am left with very little choice other than to continue being a customer. Hopefully my opinion of them improves with time. Update: I have moved my business to another company, Tokar Disposal. When requesting to cancel my services, Greenleaf refuses to cancel without payment of their extortion rates. There are other options besides Greenleaf for this service at more favorable prices and far better customer relations. Update: 2 months after cancelling my services, they continue to send bills for services not rendered AFTER that request. I cannot recommend avoiding this company strongly enough.

2/13/2023 We were customers of Foster's Disposal Service. I received a letter with Foster's letterhead in late January/early February (although the letter was dated December 28, 2022) telling me that the owner had passed (my condolences) and the business was sold to Greenleaf Recycling. I never received a letter from Greenleaf letting me know that they had taken over my account (starting January 1, 2023) or that there would be a significant price increase. Imagine my surprise when the cost of my residential trash pick up had at least doubled and I received a large quarterly bill on Friday February 10, 2023. It was too late to call on Friday so I have been trying all day today. I managed to get something other than a busy signal twice (I've called 61 times trying to get through). The message says that there is very high call volume. I imagine there is, please make adjustments in the number of people answering the phones so that customers can take care of their accounts. I am very displeased that I did not receive a notification from Greenleaf immediately about the change since my understanding is that this transaction occurred in December of 2022. Instead I received a shocking bill and we generate approximately 1/2 bag of garbage a week. I applaud the drivers that put another woman's garbage by her garage when it was very cold and windy..... I was not so fortunate. 2/23/2023 Per owner's request, I sent an email. 11 days later and I have not gotten a response from the company. I also left two voice mail messages the same day, that have not been responded to. I have also tried calling again today and unless I want a dumpster, I can't get through or leave another message. I have not put out my garbage for two weeks because I am not willing to pay $26+ per month for the 1/2 bag of garbage that we generate per week. I have been trying to get through to the company to either cancel the service or at least listen to the excuse for no notification of them taking over my account or the exorbitant price hike. I am not sure that it is even legal to 1. Not be notified of a change in vendor or 2. Not be notified of the price hike. I don't have Facebook. I know, who doesn't have Facebook, but I don't.

The owner of this company was very generous to take over for fosters without leaving us frantically looking for a new service. He was very nice on the phone with me and even lowered my bill. Fosters rate was hard to beat, but this company doesn't deserve sudden low rating because of people's lack of doing their own homework.
