The staff has a thing against young people, or at least that was the energy I got. We’re both in our young 20s and a few month ago we went in to look at a Kawasaki Vulcan they had. There was a couple people in the store and the one guy who I believe was in charge of sales was with another guy. The employee at the checkout desk told us to wait for the other guy to finish and the sales rep would see us. After the other guy left, we tried talking to the employee to get information the price, what’s included, ect. And the employee was very dismissive. He wouldn’t really answer our questions and kept trying to walk away despite the fact that we were the only ones there at that point. It honestly seemed like he didn’t think we were serious based on the comments and dismissive attitude. We didn’t feel welcomed, which is unfortunate since we were going to buy the bike if everything worked out. We ended up getting the bike elsewhere.
I would give zero stars if I could their were 2 employees in the store and no customers. I went to the counter to ak a question on sizing they offered no help at all treated us like we didnt belong there and qas extremely rude when I asked what size do you go up to and if these dont fit do you have to special order them! He said yeah if your head is that big as he was rolling his eyes at me I told my son to leave qe will go somewhere that will help sad part is we were going to bike of them as well lost sale with us

Was searching for a kawasaki atv for my son. Had such a great selection and found what I needed for him. Chad was knowledgeable and helpful through the whole transaction. The service department was able to get the machine ready for me in a timely manner. While waiting, Samantha in parts helped me purchase necessary protection for my son. Helmet, gloves, goggles and chest protector for this new rider. Glad I was able to find everything in one trip at one location. Thanks glider city crew.
My husband went here looking for a small battery charger. Samantha helped him out at the desk. She looked up what he was looking for a found exactly what he was looking for and in his price range. She was friendly and efficient. She ordered the charger and called once it was in, which it came faster than expected! We will always use Glider City for our powersport needs! 10/10
Great experience working with Chad and the GC team. Was waiting on a claim for a MC accident when I found the bike I wanted, he was fully willing to take a down payment and work with me on timing until it could be finalized. Purchase process was easy and quick. Definitely look forward to working with the GC team in the future for maintenance and purchase needs alike.
As an FYI, I haven't ridden anything but Harley's for the last 20 years, having the great service was a big part of making the decision to "make the switch".

This is a busy shop! I've had two recent interactions with them -- the first time was a simple tube job for my ditbike tire, which was quick and easy.
More recently my Yamaha Vstar wouldn't start. While bringing it in, I decided to have them install a new slip on exhaust, install a new rear tire, and check the clutch engagement. Total for parts was about $670, and I was billed $380 in labor for the four jobs. Queen Hochul took another well-deserved $85 for her collaboration and elbow grease. We couldn't have done it without her.
The starting issue turned out to be a pain to diagnose. They had to call Yamaha directly to figure out the source of the issue was the pickup coil. For all the hassle getting the thing to start was, I think the labor charge was fair. While the hourly rate sounds steep at $95, my experience says they definitely don't over clock it.
Have bought three machines from them and traded in two others. Fair prices on both sides of the table. Customer service is top notch with Chad in sales and Samantha in service. Highly recommend going here.
I brought my KX250F to Glider City to have the engine rebuilt. I can’t complain about the turn around time considering how busy the mechanics were at the time. I’d like to give a shout out to Dan in service, we had a hiccup from a gasket leak after the bike was put back together and brought home. (Which is not a gasket that you normally replace in this particular rebuild). Dan was aware that I planned to race this bike, so he took it upon himself to come in on his off day to replace this gasket to make sure I could have my bike in time for the first practice this weekend. Exceptional service. The whole time my bike was there being worked on, Dan was reaching out to me giving me updates on the process, how my internals looked and even took pictures to show me the head work he had done. You don’t find honest service like this anymore, and it is greatly appreciated!
I have purchased three motorcycles from GCP. Chad and crew have always been very helpful, respectful and zero pressure. They have always done and excellent job when I needed motorcycle service. Chad has also helped me sell two of my bikes. Very fair indeed. Best motorcycle dealer in the area.
Glider City Powersports is a great place with friendly staff (Chad, Sam, Gab, Dan). Very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought my Kymco 450 there, love it, especially in the winter for plowing. My daughter races quads during the summer and they are always helpful for what we need to get her race ready from apparel, to oil and filters. I would recommend Glider to anyone!
Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. They were eager to answer questions and look up anything they weren't sure about. We bought a snowmobile helmet and added a heating component. Had to order the heater. Didnt mind waiting since its still summer!
Glider City is top notch. I purchased my bike there about 2 months ago. Chad called to see how everything was. I couldn't be happier with this bike. Kawasaki Vulcan 650s. Took it in for it's 600 mile check up. Walk in and got free merch. I ended up waiting so I looked around and ended up buying a helmet, cargo net and some gloves to. All reasonably priced. Sam chatted with me about bikes while I waited. She is super knowledgeable.
Needed help with specifications on my Kawasaki ZZR600. Samantha was a great help and was extremely knowledgeable when it came to what I was looking for. It’s awesome seeing a company with employees that genuinely know what they are doing and enjoy being helpful to their customers. Couldn’t be more thankful and I won’t hesitate to get my motorcycles serviced/shop here.
In the past few years I've bought a couple of motorcycles from Glider city and a couple more from two other dealers in the area. Hands down Glider City is my favorite shop and the one I call home. Chad has helped me sell used bikes, sold me new ones and always makes me feel at home. Samantha is always friendly and always is able to find me parts at a very reasonable price. And of course Dan is always able to keep my bikes running in tip top shape always going the extra mile and getting me in and out in a timely manner. Frankly they make you feel more like family than just another customer. I highly endorse them. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service from everyone on the parts and service counter down to the mechanic. Called them with a panic need for new tires and they looked after in no time flat. Didn't gouge me on anything; in fact gave me good deals on the tires I was in desperate need of. All in all a great experience; thank you all.
Fantastic experience and delivery to boot! I bought my 93-yr-old father a Kawasaki Mule. I called them to see if they had any in stock. On the phone Dave Acuto said, "We'd like to earn your business." That got me to drive the 1-hour to see them. And they DID earn my business. He was patient while I studied the Mule to see if my father could get in and out of it, manage the shifter, etc. They offered a test drive of the Mule. Then they offered to deliver it to me, an hour away! The new owner, Jeff, dropped it off. To top that off they gave me a discount on all the accessories I bought. Great experience; great staff.
Family owned and operated shop, run by a father and son team. Everyone is always courteous and professional, and they understand that decent service is the key to repeat customers. Bought my '13 z1000 from them about 1.5 years ago and haven't regretted it once. Great shop.
