Tried to scrap some old car parts. They tried scamming me, they don’t “buy” catalytic converters but they will buy yours and mark it as scrap iron for 5¢ a pound!! Not only is this highly illegal, but they’ve done this to a family member of mine too. This is ridiculous, they shouldn’t even be in business.
Taking back on a once positive review. I don’t know what has happened, but whoever works the phone is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I called to ask the price of several materials, and after asking the price of just the SECOND material, I was greeted with “HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE!” In the rudest, “quit wasting my time” voice this woman could muster. Don’t deal with these people. Their prices aren’t any better than the average. And even if they were vastly better, it wouldn’t be worth the crap customer service.
Time is something we are taking for granted every day, bc tomorrow is NEVER promised... Live your life to the fullest, do any and everything you do outta LOVE... I have have taking quite a it of copper and brass here, weighed it on a digital before taking material there, they scaled dead on with what my scale showed. Friendly helpful staff the only place to take your scrap, forget Washington ave. Yard looks clean not tire puncturing metal scattered on the ground.
I have aluminum and more copper to bring there when I have time.
The only scrap yard I will use for copper and other brass, cant find a higher price around per pound. Great people and willing to work with you. I would highly recommend going there with your scrap.
Been going here for years. Nice facility fair prices and treatment. The people are friendly helpful and down to earth. Always recommend to people as I have never had a bad experience. Great people.
They are always fair and do not try to take advantage of people without the knowledge in scrap. Where on the other hand shulman's will take extreme advantage of you.
