BEWARE OF THIS BODY SHOP AND JASON!! If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! I don't usually write reviews, but I needed to put this out there to make people aware of what kind of person you will be dealing with! After reading some good reviews, my husband and I decided to take our car to be fixed there after an incident where our car got hit on the passenger door in a parking lot. BIG MISTAKE! When we went to pick up our vehicle we were not happy with the work he had done. He basically just pulled out the dent and repainted it! He asked what I did not like about the work, I said it was "crumpled looking," i.e., you could see it was not smooth and it had been hit, and I had expected it to look just like the other side, and the paint job was not satisfactory either. I just kept getting the "Lady, what do you want me to do?" I told him I wanted it fixed correctly, and after going through insurance I expected it to be done to look brand new. He then replied if he had he known we were going through insurance he would have ordered a skin, to which I reminded him we told him that and I had the email on my phone to prove it! Long story short, after much back and forth he agreed to fix it correctly, stating he would order a skin, but asked if we could give him a month as he was very busy. We said no problem. We waited a month, did not hear from Jason. My husband called him and he was told he had ordered it, but the wrong one came in so he had to reorder. Okay we said. A few weeks went by, nothing again from Jason. My husband called back...only to get told he was still waiting on the part. Okay, we figured, maybe backordered or something. A few more weeks went by, so now we're about two months out from the original job. My husband called once again, still waiting on the part apparently. My husband then called Mitsubishi and told them what we needed and they told him they could get that in a day. He then called Jason back and relayed this to him, to which Jason replied to my husband that HE HAD NEVER ORDERED IT, WAS DONE DEALING WITH US, AND HUNG UP THE PHONE! He obviously never had any intentions of making his sloppy job fixed correctly. Make sure you get some kind of written warranty, and if he says he is going to make something right MAKE SURE TO GET IT IN WRITING. We do not have a leg to stand on, obviously cannot put it through our insurance again, so we are stuck with this unacceptable job on a basically brand new car, and hopefully the paint job holds up!!!!
Jason Ford and his staff fixed my daughter's car and it looks brand new. They do excellent work and I highly recommend taking your vehicle to them. Dick Ford's Body Shop is the only place that has ever worked on my vehicles for 30 + years and I wouldn't take my vehicles to anyone else to work on.
Just picked up my 15 yr old car from dick fords. I took it in for rust repair and couldn’t be happier! No one else in the area would even touch it. Not only did he do a great job on what I had requested, he also did a few things I hadn’t requested without changing the original estimate. You can see he takes great pride in the quality of his work! I highly recommend this shop!
I just called to see if I could talk to Jason about an estimate. I discovered a mudflap had lost a screw and was getting nasty behind it. The paint was coming off and it had surface rust. I cleaned it up and put some primer and paint to keep it from getting worse until I could get it properly done, because it really wasn't that bad yet. I wouldn't have known that anything was going on if I had not noticed the loose mudflap because you couldn't see anything visually until the flap was removed, as it was all contained behind the mudflap.
I called Jason because several years ago I had a company vehicle that I had an incident with and he took great care of me. I don't know was has happened because he is definitely not the same person.
When I described what I found he was very abrupt and tells me that he most likely would talk me into a new fender. I then said it was still just surface rust at which he says "That's what they all say" . I said "excuse me?" and he said "call him Friday", to which I responded " not after you just insulted me, and hung up.
Look at this picture and tell me this truck looks like its all rotting out. I have had it sprayed every year since it was new with Pro Fleet Rust Prevention spray. It is spotless. If the paint had not been damaged from the loose mudflap, there would not have been an issue. The damage was contained to the outside surface. Behind the lip of the fender was still spotless. You can't even see it with the mudflap installed.
Based on my previous experience with him I have recommended Dick Ford's to several people, and have had nothing bad at all to say whenever someone asks me where to go to. Now...that just all changed based on one phone call and him not ever having seen the issue. Pretty sad.

I had a nasty dent on my fuel tank. It would have cost me ~$1700 to replace the tank.
After leaving it with Dick Ford's, I got it back the same week with the dent buffed out and a fresh coat of paint. My bike looked better than new and it cost me LESS money than replacing the tank.
I couldn't have been more satisfied with their service!
Jason and team did an excellent job on repair and painting of my front end . I have used Dick Ford's for many years. Their quality work and friendliness makes them my go to Body Shop. I highly recommend them!
They did an amazing job on my rust repair, at a low cost! Other shops had recommended for me to replace my rear panel completely. Jason was able to get this done within the week.

If you need your car fixed, this is absolutely the place to go. When I was in an accident ALL of my close friends and boyfriend recommended that I go to Dick Fords even though I had never been there before and I can see why all of Broome County basically wanted me to go, the result is outstanding and I couldn’t be happier. Jason is great at guiding me through the process and explains to me what step is next and when the car will be fixed and when to drop it off and pick it up. They did a great job replacing my fender. Fast, courteous, reasonable price, everything you could need in a body shop. I would recommend to anyone needing work done and also use them again if I ever need to!
I highly recommend this shop! Someone had hit my car and scraped and dented the driver rear fender and bumper. Not only did they charge me literally hundreds of dollars less than anyone else i got quotes from, they did an absolutely amazing job, you can't even tell where it got hit. They also got my car back to me really quickly. Jason was wonderful to do business with, I would definitely use this shop again. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work here.
Ask for an estimate and waited a week, called and said he would try to get it out to me, called week later because again did not receive it and at this time he said they didn’t want to take the job on. It was my 93 custom truck. Just think their communication was not very good at all.
They did an excellent job of repairing the back end of my 2019 Ford Ranger after I messed it up pretty good. It came out all nice and shiny, looking and working just like brand new. Jason was very friendly and helpful and got the job done very quickly. I highly recommend them.
Excellent service. I had a dent in my car. After going through 3 estimates that charged me up to $2500, I got my best price here for only $900. Not only that, they did a perfect job! The staff was so personal and friendly. Finished the work earlier than I expected. Highly recommend.
