Very inconsistent experiences with Advanced overall. I utilize them often even though they are often overpriced and lackluster in the employee knowledge and quality assurance departments and I will continue to use them until I get to a point in life where I no longer need car parts ASAP. Anytime I am able to plan a project I source the parts online through other sites like eBay.
The employee was very professional and very kind to me. He put wiper blades on my car for me that were bought for me as a Christmas gift from advance auto but I had no receipt. I had hand surgery on my right hand so I couldn't install them myself. He did it in the bitter cold with a smile for me!!! We had a wonderful experience here that night and I'll always go there for help with my car for the excellent service and kindness we received that very cold night!!!! Great job!!!

Unfortunately, this time, i was disappointed the experience was terrible. After hours on the phone, I called multiple stores in the area for a power steering pump pulley remover and installer, 3 stores later, and no complete kit. I went to autozone. Will post the same review for the other store in the area
Very disrespectful and rude never going back again cause they judge people when I work ft and take care of my family we walked instead of driving there and treated us like scum like I said never again don’t judge before you know someone
After a week long trip I came home to my battery dead as a door nail. In less than 30 minutes Omar was able to get me a replacement and install it so I was able to pick my daughter up from school with time to spare. He was a life saver and an all around great person
This guy literally wouldn't loan me a 3/8 wrench to tighten my battery connection. He said i had to buy a set for like 10 dollars, so he lost my business.

Had a dead battery called ahead and they said bring old battery and could see if it was salvageable. Customer service was stellar and very helpful. Highly recommend
We were told that the part we needed was not in but we could pay for it and could pick it up this afternoon at 4pm. When we went to pick it up at 4 the guy told me that it wasn't in and wouldn't be until at least tomorrow. He said parts that they didn't have never came in the same day, it was always at least the next day. If the employees are just telling you that pick up is the same day so they can make a sale that's bull!
A bad battery still under warranty and less than two years old. Went to main Street Binghamton store. Was told "we cannot test the battery unless it is out of the car." We will have to have to have the battery 2 days out off the car to test it!.
Not the best customer service. Purchased car oil and had trouble unscrewing the oil cap on the car. When I asked for assistance I was told I should ask another customer because they can't help. This was never an issue in the past.
The guy behind the counter lied and told me the parts I wanted weren't in stock. So I ordered them in the parking lot, went in had the other employee get my or together ( now mind you, the exact parts the guy told me were out of stock 15 minutes before.) I had him ring it all up and told him I didn't want the parts because the other guy working the counter was a lier..... Then I went across the street to Auto Zone.
Was given the wrong car battery for my car by Tom, had the polarity reversed. Fried my electrical system. Thanks Tom. 4 days without a vehicle, 6 hours of labor, $300 in parts. I should have noticed the mistake but it's still Toms fault.
I have had the pleasure of going to this store on a few times. Both times I was treated with respect. The first time i went in a snow fall and needed a battery for my car. The sold me a good battery and installed it in the parking lot,in the snow! As for going on i will tell you this store is great. Thanks guys.
