What a rip-off, Twenty dollars for a lawn mower fuel filter and a bottle of dry gas. The bottle of dry gas was the last one they had in the store. It’s wintertime in upstate New York and you don’t have a stock of dry gas, who is running this place ?
My battery died on Tuesday so I went to Autozone once I got a jump for a new battery. When I arrived, the worker (Joseph I believe was his name) was very helpful. He tested my battery to ensure it was bad before I bought a new one. Then he installed the new one for me in the freezing cold.
I stopped in yesterday and had a great experience. Chuck was extremely helpful and courteous when he was assisting me in finding exactly what I needed. Anything car related can be tricky and I was treated with respect and very politely.
I politely declined needing help after being greeted when entering the store, only for the male cashier to give me a weird look and loudly say back “Are you sure?” when I was already bee-lining towards what I needed.
He also proceeded to ask me if I wanted to try my dad’s or another guy’s number in order to earn them points for my purchase when I politely declined having my own phone number attached to an account with them because I don’t stop there often.
I’ve heard jokes about how men in the vehicle maintenance industry treat young women like they know nothing, but to witness it in real life when I’m just trying to grab coolant is crazy. Do better.
went in there to get wipers for my father and mothers car. the girl that was working was super helpful but all i could hear was a man cursing someone out on the phone. i didn’t get his name but he shouldn’t be on his phone during work phones especially using such foul language. not to mention i also had my two small children with me. props to the helpful girl because she apologized for the man’s behavior.
This place is awesome! Staff is always helpful and on the ball. I ordered an ignition coil to install myself, and when I went to put it in, I found it was the wrong size. After calling them and letting them know, they admitted to their mistake in ordering the wrong one and replaced it that hour. They also gave me a discount for my trouble (the one they sold me was cheaper). Mistakes will happen every now and then, but they were quick to apologize and rectify the issue.
Had a brand new battery I purchased elsewhere that didn’t work for my car so I was told I could drop it off here for recycle and have credits added to my account I even called in to inquire before driving there.when I arrived the guy took the battery,did not take any info from me(guess because I am a woman)I even asked him if that was it and he said ok.
What a shame….took my battery and I got nada
I went in for some oil and was immediately greeted and asked how I was doing. The guy was super helpful, making sure I got what I needed, offering to use his computer to check compatability with my vehicle. He was more helpful and friendly then most workers I encounter at autoparts storeI didnt get his name but my receipt says cashier #6. I appreciate his kindness. He even offered to carry out my oil and hold the door.
Well-stocked, knowledgeable staff, friendly, wide selection of parts. Worth noting is that this store carries a significant selection of parts for 1960's and 1970's classic cars.
Excellent customer service, the least expensive for the filters that I needed, everywhere was more $$ including Amazon, and they were able to order- in the special oil that I needed the next day at a great price!

I was having issues on the side of the road near north Greenbush, I replaced the battery and the car would not start. Thanks to Jim's knowledge I was able to get my car started and running
The store is easy to get to. Guys are great. Quick to the point and knowledgeable. They're always really cool to the kids also so that's a plus. Anything you need help with someone normally has an answer.
These employees here are motivated and helpful. Very convenient location.
Update: ordered 2 belts. Price matched from NAPA. Got them both the next day. Very happy customer here. Saved $25.

Manager Gary T. is a role model for all other AutoZone employees. Super friendly, exuberant, and truly wanting to help as many people as possible, he listened empathetically to what I needed to do, which was secure a small box in the back of my SUV, and immediately identified some cables that were perfect. He got me started with using the cables and assured me he'd be there to help. Thank you, Gary! I want to recognize you for your excellent service. Also, several other employees at this store have been quite helpful. I am happy to have this AutoZone near me in North Greenbush!

I went here to pick up some parts I ordered online. Since I was going there, I decided to bring some transmission fluid, which qualifies as used oil under NYS law and which establishments like this are legally required to take. When I let the person at the counter know I had used oil to drop off they refused to take it giving me some b/s excuse about possible contamination with antifreeze and liability, even after I assured them it was just used oil. This was the first and last time I will use this store.
Ken displayed truly exceptional customer service with being the only employee working the store he was able to help and assist me with my own auto needs and answer each and every question that I had. He was truly amazing and displayed Managerial Characteristics aren’t seen this day and age. Keep up the good work Ken you’ll go far, thanks.!
This is the first time walking into there with a very rude employee. The girl behind the counter was on her phone when I asked her a question and with a snotty attitude face in her phone said “no what is on the shelf is what we have” when I got what I needed I asked which register she was at her response still with her face in her phone which ever one you put your stuff down at. Work on your customers service.
