Staff here are awesome. Prefer the size of this smaller Price Chopper to the massive and overwhelming size of Latham Market 32 and Walmart, rarely do I have to wait in line. Also having a grocery store that’s walking distance from where you live is the best. There are few options in the area where you can get fresh fruit and veggies like this.

I’m sure this price chopper is great for a lot of people to have a store nearby but that is just about the only positive I can think of for this place right now. It’s super tiny, very hidden, and the people that shop here are so….troubled. The employees even seem uncomfortable and like they’re rushing every customer out. It’s good for those that can’t get to a store outside cohoes. But the people it brings in is worrisome. I wish there was a way to improve it all.

Been here once but I hear stories about your place from my neighbor. She orders food on instacart and gets her groceries from this store. She claims her food was cold when it should have been hot, she never gets certain items she wanted, and some of her food are out of date. I don't know how true that is but I'm not buying anything from this place again. Most price choppers are filthy.

The cashier was arrested in the store one day. Came back to the store to do my monthly shopping and this same clerk was throwing the food down the belt. I will not spend anymore money in this store, and will go there for nothing. The Office Manager offered nothing but excuses for this bad behavior and proved to me that this place is not a place for me and my family to shop. The store was dirty and the manger looked like she was in charge of a farm and not a store. Professionalism is not on the orders in this place. For this reason I will not be returning to this store.

If you guys are going to close at 10:45 instead of 11 change your hours. No reason I should be expecting you be open til close for you to close early and stand around the register and talk like you can't do that after you clock out.

Went shopping here on 7/27/23. As I loaded the belt at the register with my groceries, I was told, rather snottily, that the "Points System" was 'down' and I would not receive any points for my purchases. Since most of theses groceries were for my disabled downstairs neighbor, I, unfortunately, could not just up and leave. So, after all that, and delivering the groceries, I went to Price Chopper/Mkt 32's website and complained about the "no points", not one d*mn person got back to me on the issue, so I lost about $100 in points. From now on I will ASK if the points are "up" and then shop, and if not - Hannaford is not that far away. UPDATE: 9/6/23: Someone finally got back to me online stating they would look into it. But back in Mid-August, someone got back to me from the store level and was able to give me my points.

I've been shopping at this Price chopper mostly all my life and I'm glad that there's still some neighborhood supermarkets around and I don't have to drive across town or three town's over to go shopping at some bougie Market 32 or Market bistro for overpriced items, I do understand it's the same company too.

I had bottles to return & I needed a case of bottled water. And this Price Chopper store was close as I was already in Cohoes. Just a quick in & out. This is a small store & it's been there for decades.

Close this place its the worse! You literally have to mentally prep yourself because as you can see in the photo there's always a line of 6+ and one register open.

I don't know why I love this little price chopper but I do. It is smaller then ones you may be used to seeing, but I think that's what makes it special. That being said, selection might be an issue but remember it is a smaller store.

Incredible lack of merchandise (but they are trying to do better). UPDATE : Meat department still leaves much to be desired! Aisles are often difficult to navigate with all the bulk items left on the floor. Cashiers, deli counter workers and customer service reps are often rude or dismissive (Get there early for the A+ staff)! UPDATE : After 3pm, FORGET POLITE SERVICE!!!! *UPDATE* - Prices slowly dropping and they are doing better at labeling sale items.

Sometimes they don't have alot however almost whenever I get fruit always seems Lil bad or doesn't last long from store to home or can be strong juice flavor u know but it's close to my house helpful I do like the cashiers tho

Right before closing I needed to grab an onion and found some nice looking chicken thighs in the walk so that also joined me. Even though I come in within 30 minutes of close often, they NEVER seem to ever mind that. I also do not push it to last second respectably, and it’s very convenient for me. Overall good job to all. I go to this particular store for convenience sake only. It's basically a small town Price Chopper.. Selection is ok and I have noticed things are less expensive than the larger sister stores.

The staff has exceptional customer service from cashier up to Manager. Only 1 drawback location has limited selections 25% less square footage.

Great, local grocery store. Everyone is nice. Always parking spots and carts up front. Bathroom has always been clean and has had toilet paper and paper towels.

Too small, Organizes the condiments all over the store. No seasonal stuff at all! Change it in to market 32 or close it and build a new one in Cohoes! First is the worst applies here! The produce is barely there and has barely pet stuff, instead they overstock on salad dressing and condiments! The only thing good about it that the essentials are all together. They have barely any ice cream! It is a diahrrea and vomit chopper!

It's really warm inside so a jacket is not needed. Recycle machines for bottles and cans are directly to the right at the door of the entrance. Fruit isle is straight ahead at your left, condiments at the right. Meat/frozen breakfast straight as well to the back. Dairy is in the right farthest side as well as alcoholic beverages. Deli is right there beside it. I could go on with a full tour but that would be a lot of reading. If you forget your advantage card they are usually nice enough to scan the store card for it. Bring your own bags or buy bags, please WEAR A MASK AND COVER IT OVER YOUR NOSE because we are in a plague/pandemic in these times. Hand sanitizer is at the entrance door on your left.

Well stocked, but not very clean. Needs some updating on the outside and repaving on the parking lot. Good enough for what you need but there's definitely nicer locations around.

Old store ,grimy ,high prices ,poor selection .Parking lot is atrocious its slanted like a ski slope carts crash into cars all the time.The parking spots are tiny &too close to one another.There is poor lighting at night. Price Chopper should be disgraced by the condition of this store.Its only one of 2 stores they own. I prefer Hannaford &Wal-Mart to Price Chopper in general.This store in Cohoes is the worst.

A bit small n pricey in comparison to the larger chain stores. But the store is clean, the staff is very polite & helpful. Been a staple to the Cohoes community for my entire life.

I really don't like to write bad public reviews of an individual, but I have to in this case. It seems like PC has really put a lot of effort into this store in the last couple of years . But there is one employee - a short woman with short gray hair-- who ruins it for me. She is surly, never smiles or makes eye contact, and treats the customer as if their presence in the store is a personal insult to her. At first I thought it was just me,that I had inadvertently done something to offend her but I've talked to other people and they had the same experience. This morning there were two registers open and she was at one of them. I went to the other one even though there were two people ahead of me. Two more people lined up behind me. Clearly looks like I'm not the only one avoiding her! I worked in customer service all my life and spent many years training staff. Maybe she should be moved to another store and retrained. On the plus side, the rest of the staff there go out of their way to be friendly and helpful, The store is cleaner and brighter than it used to be and they stock a better variety of items. So management has done an overall very good job. I will continue to shop here and I will continue to avoid Miss Grumpy Pants.

Use the pharmacy often. Staff is always friendly and very professional. The store is always immaculate. Everybody's friendly and it's a great place if you want to eat any kind of food you like. I enjoy myself every time I go there.

I heard the manager was having an appreciation day the other day for what she does nothing?? Get rids of great employees for employees who either are still doing the same thing like not suppose to be on thier phones which always are she has to many people working during the day and not enough at night...there was this one girl there who uaed to work nights was amazing always had the store cleaned at night was quick at checkout we didnt have to wait Now its totallydifferent I don't and many other don't even want to shop there...especially at night time its just not and will never be thw same I was recently told how the night girl has epilepsy and a night crew member was yelling at her and she started getting shaky like she was about to have a seizure like she has have while working before so she left for the night which she wasnt even scheduled to work she came in to cover a shift and they wait 2 days and terminated her for that I think k its outrageous bogus and don't be surprised when there is a civil suit againat the company they have people there working with attitudes its absolutely horrific!!!!!

Coupon issue again. The cashiers have to be constantly reminded to not only take them, but to scan them, AND you have to make sure they scan them all! Got shorted another $1.50. Doesn't sound like a lot, but that's a half gallon of gas! Customer service isn't open yet, so I'll argue with them (again). Sadly, it's not just this particular store either, but I have more problems here than other Price Choppers.

You can get what you MOSTLY need but if it's not wrapped up at the factory I'd shy away from it there. Place could have used a remodel 20 yrs ago but still in 2017 hasn't been update to modern standards. Staff is friendly and helpful but building was and old hospital never constructed correctly to make a store.

This store was selling food from a cooler that had green, yellow, and black bacteria. In it causeing the food to stink and have a rotten taste I took pictures and video of them useing a very strong pressure washer and such got water you could feel heat being 3031st away. The managers don't do there jobs and the employees are not to bright.
