Well, on April 15th, I dropped off two packages from Macy’s, each with a different label because they were bound for different destinations. The older gentleman who works at this location—I don't know his name, but he is the only older man I’ve ever seen there—told me that he was very busy, but that it was no problem for me to leave the packages with him and he would send them out. That afternoon, I only received a scan notification for one of the packages; UPS says they never received the other one. This individual simply limited himself to giving me the UPS phone number so I could speak with them directly; he showed neither the availability nor the slightest intention to help. I believe the package was never even sent from this location, since scan notifications usually arrive immediately after they process them—and they are supposed to scan them first, before UPS does. Now, I have no idea what happened to the package or where it is. I hope you can help me find it. And if you don't have the time to do this job properly—the way it’s supposed to be done—then just quit!
UPS messed up the delivery of a package sent from Dunnes.After claifying the problem with UPS customer service, they asked me to have the shipper (Dunnes, where the package was returned) call and set up the re-shipment. Josh at Dunnes told me no, it was my package and my problem. Avoid this business.
Worst service I took my bottle of acetylene a big one and gave me a small one because they were out so I took it to my job sight and when I was about to use it it came out empty. I went to get my money and bottle back and the owner started to curse me out and yell without giving me my money back.
Deming NM Carquest: As a retired Army Veteran I was racially profiled by the owner (Henry) here (and yes i’m black). Went in for a tractor part, they didn’t have it. This was fine, but I was then followed around (like inches away) by the owner and was told “next time make a list of what you want to buy from the store, so you can just buy what you want and not have to look around”. I live in Columbus so I wanted to look around (shop) to see if I needed anything else beside what I initially came there for. The other staff know me well and one is a fellow veteran and even let the owner know I was not there with bad intentions. The owner replied to his staff by saying “people like me” will steal all the time….Even after being told “he is good, we have known him since he moved here, he’s a retired Army Vet”, his behavior continued. This was completely unuccessary. The owner actually followed me all the way to the door and held the door open for me to leave……What on earth is wrong with this picture? The owner’s daughter and staff have always had the best customer service. Posted hours said they were open at 08:00, they were not open by 8:20…Not a holiday.
FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Henry was able to look up the cab air filter we needed and had it in stock. I was out of the place within minutes with GREAT PRICING TOO!! Thanks for the excellent service!!!
We recently broke down in Deming and luckily we were just across the road from Carquest. Henry and Rosella were unbeleiveably helpful and caring. We actually found everyone we met in Deming quite friendly.
If you need parts you should go to Carquest-Dunnes Automotive. My 1991 ford f350 broke down and I was stranded in Deming for 2 days. Because of the age of the truck there were no parts available. Mr.Henry and Rosela at Carquest went above and beyond to help me. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and treated me like family. They call around and Mr.Henry drove me around to help me find the part. They sincerely cared and helped me get back on the road. When I told them how thankful I was they said "You're so welcome! We're here to serve others. It's not about us, but to glorify God." Carquest-Dunnes Automotive is great for parts and service. Thank you Carquest
