What clients say about LKQ Corporation in Albuquerque (NM)

I bought a transmission for almost $2,000. My drove the car for 3 months just around the city and the transmission went out. We put in for the warranty and they denied it saying that too many miles were put on it. The guy that filled out the warranty asked how many miles my son drove and he thought that the transmission started with 96,000 miles so he told him 98,000-99,000 and the guy said we'll put 101,000. Apparently the transmission started with 92,000 miles. There is no way that he drove 9.000 miles in three months and why the guy added miles to what my son told him. They never even had the decency to call and tell us that they denied it. We went back to the office and asked why it was denied and he said too many miles. He filed it again and they denied it again. My son has left messages to his sales rep and he does not call him back. We are going to have to go back to the office again to see what can be done because it's not ok to pay $2,000 for 3 months of use.

Ask about warranties, they dont ask you. and when the part you buy is faulty your on the hook for first, and second install. I bought an engine, warranty on engine not on install had to pay twice. Car never even made it out of the mechanics shop. They call it parts and labor warranty, what a .crock. Be careful when dealing with them.

I simply called their used parts and salvage department to inquire about License plates and the guy just hung up on me. I tried to call back with no answer. The worst customer service in the United States of America. I strongly advise to stay away from these people.
