Need to have my car battery tested and without hesitation the young man came out and tested it for me. I had just stopped at Autozone and was told it was too cold outside for them to come outside and test it. I think they were just to lazy. Also stopped at NAPA in rockaway and they told me they would only test if I brought it inside. I will bring all my businesses to Autozone from now on.

Not the best service I've ever had. Ruben G was sitting down on his phone when I walked in so I had to say hello to him. I was checking on coolant and brake fluid and he was rude throughout the whole interaction. He never once said please. It sounded like he was giving me orders... If homeboy doesn't want to work, I'm sure others do. The older gentleman at the store had a better demeanor and was nicer to the customer he was tending to.

Extremely rude and unhelpful. Had a dead battery. Had me turn off the car to check it then just say it’s dead and walked inside. I followed him in and he was already helping someone else. I then asked to buy a battery and tried upselling me without explaining it. Then I asked if they did install and just said not today. So then I’m stranded without having the tools to change it myself. I’ve never had such poor service from an auto zone before.

I've been there twice recently. Once was for a new battey.... I asked if they could install before purchase and was told yes. It was a small fiasco involving more than one employee because they could not figure it out. I thought it was a one off and recently returned for windshield wipers. I again asked if they could help install and was assured they could. The first employee could not figure it out and went to grab someone else. They also told me, "noone here knows how to do this". The second employee came out and began yanking on and bending my wiper blade. I told them I'd figure it out and left. I understand that it's not the same as going to a mechanic, but if you advertise that you can change batteries and change wiper blades, perhaps your employees should be trained to do so. They should also wipe their smug smiles off their faces, and learn the bare minimum of customer service since they can't do the jobs they are advertised to do. I will never, ever again return.

I came here and bought a battery and was told to come in earlier tomorrow to have it installed (No specific time). So, I did. They still couldn't install it at 4:30 pm. Don't come here if you want any customer service.

I would like to give recognition to Ruben Garcia he was so helpful in getting the parts I requested and also lending a hand with showing the tools needed and also lent the tool for the person to fix the part. I had to get an ignition coil it was replaced with the help of Ruben Garcia so amazingly helpful!!

I would like to give recognition to the manager of this store named Ivan he was so helpful in getting all the parts I needed for my daughter car then I bought a car the same week. I came in worried he assured me he will have the parts I need to take to my mechanic. He was able to send me to the mechanic with all the parts I requested and my car rides so good I would like to thank Ivan for always being there in my time of need he’s so amazingly helpful

I cant believe how long I waited in line at this location... There were about 4-5 employees walking around and I was in line for 2 things and had to wait instead of being rung out for my items. I almost left without purchasing. Its odd because I usually get great service here. Very frustrated

Just had my check engine light come on today. So I stopped by Auto Zone, where Christian S helped me. He was absolutely polite and helpful! He did a diagnoses on it and confirmed it was my emissions. He also did a battery check for me. Took the time to come out to my car to do all of this and gave me a printout of the diagnosis, and gave me a very thorough explanation of what it all meant. Eased my mind a lot! It had been a stressful day, before this. So thank you Auto Zone, and thank you Christian!

This is a good store and in general mostly has the items I am looking for and at an acceptable price. I also appreciate the free battery check. Recently, however, I needed a canister of air conditioning refrigerant. The product I was looking for, that I know well, was priced at $95 for ONE item. I knew this was way over priced and I decided to pass on this purchase and try to find it cheaper elsewhere. (I don’t mind minor differences in price-businesses do need to make money) This very same item (on the same day!) was at Lowe’s for just over $30!!! Much more in line with what I knew the proper price to be. The $60 difference in price takes me four full hours of work (after tax) to afford. I can’t throw my money away like that. Buyer beware. Comparison shop.

Excellent customer service! We stopped by the AutoZone in Dover to buy floor mats, and the experience was great from start to finish. A staff member helped us find exactly what we needed and made sure we got the right fit for our car. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. It’s always nice to receive such helpful service—highly recommend this location!

I had bought Rain-x wipers that needed a certain clip for it to fit my car and Kayla was so kind to give me a better suggestion that had just what I needed for my car and even installed it for me, don’t hesitate to ask for help if needed when shopping, the staff has excellent customer service and will guide you towards the right direction!

Went in for a fob battery. They didn’t have it, but told me where I could get it AND offered to put it in if I needed help. I purchased it at another auto store and they would NOT help me install it. I came back here and got service with a smile!

This store (including the website) has the exact fit bulbs whenever I need them. I’ve tried the large online retailer. Sent them all back. Don’t forget these guys will test your battery for free. And they replace and recycle a dead battery right in the parking lot. Keep your car in good shape with AutoZone. Products I recommend: STP gas and oil treatments. Most oil and gas treatments are a scam. These are not. Use as directed. ALSO Recommend: Marvel Mystery Oil. Sounds like a scam, but not. I recommend this product in the gas tank ONLY. Not in the engine oil. Use as directed. One bottle multiple applications for hesitation, etc. will take several tanks to really feel the effect. Safe driving.

Poor service by a young kid that didn’t know his job. Didn’t know what kind of antifreeze to give me. The supervisor was very dismissive as well.

This store really sucks. I haven't been here for a while but I needed something to fix my car at first. When I arrived, an older man treated me very well. They sold me individually something I needed, ok, everything was fine. I came back two hours later to buy the same one. part two more of the box and says that he can't sell me individually because they had to sell me the complete box as if it were my fault that he sold me individually when I came back the second time a black man answered me being rude and saying I had to buy the box knowing that I had already bought it individually, according to the poorly dressed magnager and rudely answering, they should really take it out.Please customers, do not buy in this store, it is really discriminatory towards the women who buy and also the supposed manager is rude, buy parts at the car and at Walmar, I recommend the oil.

Shout out to John for excellent customer service!! My daughter and I needed a bulb for a car we just purchased, and weren't sure which one was the right one. John went above and beyond and called the mechanic working on the car to get the exact type of bulb for the car, so as to not spend unnecessary amounts of money. Apparently the prior owner modified the car to use the most expensive headlight on the market!! Thank you John for trying to help, even though we ended up buying the more expensive bulb. So nice to have had such great assistance with problem, especially when I had no idea what to do!

As soon as we came in to this location, an associate named Louis I. was extremely helpful. He was welcoming, made sure we got exactly what we were looking for, and even went outside to look at the problem we had with our car so he could get the proper length of the zip ties we needed. We left feeling so grateful and appreciative of the extra care he took in helping us. The way he went out of his way to ensure the tools we got were exactly what we needed reassured me that AutoZone is always a great place to visit for my car necessities. Thank you Louis!

I was thinking about getting a product for my transmission. Fluid was leaking but I didn't know for sure what the problem was. The clerk was very helpful and told me that the product I was thinking of could do more harm than good. He was right because it ended up that I needed new hoses...my transmission was fine. But they did carry an item I have been looking for, for a long time...for my seat belt.
