Car salespeople really have bad reputation for a reason. My husband was waiting to pay a deposit on a car but the incompetent salesperson that we were corresponding with sold the car to someone else in the meantime. Just unprofessional. Won’t be giving this place any of our time or money after that.

Avoid the service department at all costs. After a breakdown, I had my vehicle towed here, only to encounter extreme delays and a total lack of service. I ended up paying to have it towed a second time to another dealer just to get back on the road. It’s disappointing because Nigel (Sales) is a great guy, but the GM and service team have made this a dealbreaker. Save yourself the towing fees and go elsewhere. Nielsen Chevrolet is 1st choice to bring my Buick Enclave for service.It was NOT easy to find out why the battery kept dying when overnight temperatures got very cold. Another Buick dealer in Randolph just wanted to install another new battery… 3 in 3 years!! They could not be bothered to find out the root cause of the repeat problem. Nielsen took the time and effort to identify and fix the problem once and for all and not just keep changing batteries. John the Service Manager and Amy, the Service Advisor kept us advised as to how the difficult troubleshooting was going. The icing on the cake was that the service got covered under warranty. My hat is off to Nielsen and my wife and I appreciate their efforts!

Luis Jaimes met us at the door and walked us through the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! From the test drive right until the final run through of the car’s features, he, Eli Guardarrama, the Sales Manager and William Roldan, the Finance Manager could not have been better. We left with the vehicle we wanted for the price we wanted and all in an afternoon. Had an 8 am appointment and was seen by Amy, the service rep, right away. She had all the info they needed. They confirmed problem with car charger (EV car) and have ordered replacement under warranty. They had me out the door by 8:30 am. Spent the half hour in very comfortable waiting area. Very pleasant experience. Will definitely be bringing car back for service here.

I’m extremely happy with my new 2025 Chevy Colorado. Even with how tough the economy is, Nelson Chevy really made things work in my favor. I came in looking to trade my older truck in for something newer, and they took the time to show me different options, explain everything clearly, and help me find the best deal. Skip the service center here. I was told nothing was wrong with my car and I had to press the issue to even get someone to look at it further. This was after they had it for 3 days. Turns out, something is wrong and it’s only because debris was flushed into my coolant lines. Now a $300 service is going to cost me additional funds elsewhere. The complimentary multi point vehicle inspection is just someone checking off all the green boxes so they don’t have to do any work.

Was the first time working with a dealership that it went quick and smooth. No back and forth games with pricing which made it a pleasant experience. Was very happy with the deal that was given to us. The two salesman who helped us were very nice. Great experience. Would recommend.

I had my car repair there. It was suppose to be a 2/3 day job. They had my car for 14 days. I had to get a rental over $600 to have my car for about a week and drove it once before the check engine light came back on. They had me wait a whole week to bring it back in. The second time they had my car for 28 days racki g up almost 1000 in rental fees. Communication was poor. I had to have a rental for the whole time. I wasnt informed of the rental reimbursement program. They didnt have a loaner. And even though it broke down the second time because a faulty part they put in my car and had it for almost 30 days they refused to reimburse any of the rental or do anything to make it right. They dismissed me and I was told that the manager said hes not reimburse anything. I had over 1500 in a car rental bills.

Customer Service was very professional and not pushy. Sales went smooth and without pressure. Emily, our sales rep, was new but very professional, friendly and very accomodating to our needs. The other sales reps and finance rep made closing deal very easy. We knew what we wanted when going in, and the sales team made the back and forth chatter short and fun. We feel we got a good deal and a great car. Would highly recommend going to this dealership.

I had an issue with my shifter assembly in my Colorado. I went to the dealership without an appointment and they were able to fit me in, have the part replaced and had the truck back to me before the end of the day. I’m really impressed and thankful for the service that they provided during this most recent event.

I would not recommend this facility. My car was totaled out. Wednesday, I called the shop to let them know I would be coming to clean my personal belongings out of the car first thing Thursday morning. I arrived at the shop at 8:45 am, Thursday morning to have the desk tell me- “your car is gone. Tow truck guy came”. She suggested I check the back of the building, maybe he was still loading my car. Luckily- he was still loading my car on the tow truck- filled with car seats, golf clubs, EZ Pass, etc. but no one in the office thought to call me and check my status- before they gave the two truck guy my key with all my belongings inside. Had I made it to the shop 3 min later, my car would have been gone. Terrible service.

If I had a choice of "No Stars" that would be my selection. Here's why: I had my vehicle towed to Nielson Chevrolet this past Thursday night . I got into the car to get to an appointment and the car displayed a high temperature warning within 5 minutes of the car running. Attempted to drive the car further but pulled over after an engine light also came on. Called AAA and they towed my car to their dealership that night. On Friday morning I received a call that the service department was short on service technicians but someone would get back to me by the end of the day with an answer of what had to be done. That call never came until the following Monday morning and with an estimate of $6000 because the computer faults they said I had - $939 for tire sensors, $1000 for thermostat & temperature sensor, $2,460 for turbocharger replacement, $1,386 for A/C compressor and $224 actuator solenoid valve replacement. I told them "No, don't touch the vehicle", because it was running perfectly before the issue. They texted me back saying that it would take until the end of the day for the service technicians to put the car back together. Less than an hour later the car was ready for pickup, miraculously! Had the car towed to a vehicle service center recommended by a family friend and explained the situation to them and they had an idea of what was going on but needed to run some diagnostics and take the car for a test drive. Just over 24-hours later I received a call that the problem was only a thermostat sensor, which caused the cascading event of all of the other warning lights & check engine lights to come on! Car runs beautifully and for less than 10-percent of Nielson Chevrolet's $6,000 estimate. AND PUTTING SALT IN THE WOUND, they charged me $207.51 for a vehicle diagnostic fee. I don't believe they did anything else but plug the computer into the vehicle to get the codes from the computer and didn't look any further into the cause of the problems that occurred. They just want to take your money!!! I would not recommend anyone getting service here outside of warranty work because you don't have to pay for that service.

Staff not friendly at all. Took the car in for an oil change and regular check-up. However, any simple question, such as "Can you take a look at my wipers to see if they are ok?" was met with the same unreal answer: "Yes, we can take a look at your wipers but we will charge you $175 diagnostic fee for our mechanic to look at them." This dealership also charges a 3% fee for all credit card payments, no matter how high the bill is. This seems to be just a plain money grab as they are well aware that nobody carries cash these days.
