Incredibly friendly service! I needed a second opinion check, regarding my transmission service. The managers ran the diagnostics and they gave me a straight forward answer. That was exactly what I was looking for. They did not give me any empty promises, just to get me to service my car. Being a professional driver, I appreciate this attitude the most. They told me what was the best option in my situation, and now I know what kind of mechanical “journeys” I can expect in the future. Another words, I know what the issue with my car is, so that I can plan out my next steps. I don’t have to waste my time and my money for unnecessary services, which could lead to even bigger and more expensive problems. If that doesn’t mean a great shop to deal with, I don’t quite know what does. They didn’t even charge me a penny for the diagnostics too. Thank you guys!

I chose this place mainly based on the great reviews but I knew I had the right place upon my initial call with Michael. He was very affable and professional. When I dropped my car off the next day (had to fix exhaust system), I immediately KNEW I had the right place and they had a new friend/customer! Both Michael and John were very friendly, patient and professional. I didn’t feel like I was being taken advantage of. They even took a picture to show me the problem. The estimate was reasonable and it took a few hours to do the job (my dealership gave me an estimate 2.5x higher and would take 2-3 business days). Upon picking up the car, the payment and check-out was seamless and I met another employee, Jerry, who was as affable, sweet and professional as Michael and John! This place is a WIN-WIN!! I’ll DEFINITELY BE BACK for any mechanical needs for my Ford Edge. Being nice, patient and professional GOES A LOOOONG WAY! This Aamco is the place to go!

Update: I went back after reading john “friendly” response that they couldn’t duplicate the noise. I made sure everyone there was able to clearly identify the noise and their mechanic agrees it is the same noise that was before. Still they didn’t offer any refund. They pretended that nothing happened and asked me if I want to pay again to fix the noise ( I paid 900$ for the same issue few days ago). I truly advise you not to go there. I went to this place as I wanted to avoid scams and the reviews were good. Although it is more expensive. I went there for noise coming from the car. They did diagnosis and I was told that the problem is control arms. They sent me a calculation of 950$ to replace it (even the same job can be done somewhere else with half the price). Unfortunately I trusted them and paid the money. I received the car a day after with the exact same noise. I went back and he argues that he did his job and replaced a defective part. I never asked to replace any defective parts. I asked to fix the noise and this is why I paid the money. They didn’t want be responsible for this false diagnosis. They wanna me pay more for different diagnosis now. I ended up disputing the charges and I’m gonna file car repair police report. I advise you not to deal with this place except if you need to change oil or something like that. Don’t go if you need actual fix to your car.

John and Jerry served excellent customer service. The whole AAMCO staff went above and beyond. This is my first time here getting my car serviced. John and Jerry made sure what I requested was done in a timely manner. No one gave me the run around and if any additional things that they find that needed serviced they asked my permission to repair it and when over the price with me, they never took matters in their own hands without my consent. They are very honest and I like how the staff member work hard to do there best to make you feel comfortable. And the managers are never too busy to answer your questions over the phone and in person. These guys don’t just do you basic tier rotation, oil change and so on. They do repairs on the inside out even electrical. My fog lights and motor are working like new. And if you are a “Atlantic Health Care worker you get a discount”. Just make sure you bring your health care ID. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️A Job Well Done!!! 👏 If you want a one stop full on repair of anything for a reasonable price GO HERE please. John and Steve are true professional in their field. They have amazing customer service that is so hard to find in any industry, especially Car Care. John is able to explain issues or problems with your vehicle in clear, easy to follow terms. I've personally been in or around car shops for most of my life and this guys are the real deal! They know the value of getting your vehicle fixed correctly the first time. If you need any car repaired or yearly maintenance, I wouldn't bother going anyone else! Extremely friendly staff. My family and I came up here from FL, due to Hurricane Irma, and encountered unexpected problems with our car. We were skeptical on finding a genuine mechanic, who would not take advantage of the fact that we are not familiar with the area. Mark and Ed were fantastic! Not only did they look out for our best interest, they were patient and willing to answer any questions we had. They were very honest and saved us from making unnecessary expenses - you don't come across too many honest mechanics now-a-days. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend this location!

I needed a car inspection prior to buying a used Lexus RX350 2009. I called him up for a quote. The owner gave me a great price. He told me he would value me as a new customer. I told him I'm from NY and won't be his customer. He still kept his word on the price. I strongly recommend his service for honesty and excellence in service. My car was jacked up. He did a very very thorough inspection. He pointed out the problem with leaking transmission pan gasket and worn out tires. This gave me a confidence in purchasing a 6 year old used vehicle. I knew what to expect. The owner also looked up reports from Lexus on recalls and recommended repairs. All I can say is that service was excellent. I would definitely use this shop for my future repair if I was living in the area.

Great Team, Great Shop and Great Price! Vince, Tom and the whole team are life savers. We broke down on the Interstate. A quick call to Vince and he sent a tow truck that hauled my Tahoe and Horse Trailer to his shop. He helped us get the trailer (with all my belongings) safe. It was the end of a busy work day and we had to move quickly. He arranged a great enterprise rental car and assured us he would call in the morning. I can't really say what happened, but by morning my Tahoe was working perfectly and the guys could not recreate the problem that left me on the interstate. Everything was pointing to an expensive transmission replacement. Vince called and told me nothing was wrong with my car. Extensive testing and diagnostic did not report any problems. That was a huge relief. He gave me some great advice on how to tow heavy loads up the interstate and Omar gave me driving tips that really made a difference on my journey home. I hate to go off on a rant about "things these days" ...but when you experience this level of honest service and friendly service, it is important to share. I recommend AAMCO Transmissions for anyone needing a dedicated team of car care professionals, honest and right on time.
