I called AAA for a charge & if warranted, a new battery. After multiple attempts, the car started with a charge but the technician refused to install a new battery because he said the alternator was bad. I took the car to Milelli’s. They said the alternator was functioning properly & replaced the marginal battery. They also diagnosed a problem with the ignition which they’ll fix when they find the part. A very positive experience. Much appreciated!

I can’t say enough good things about Milelli’s Auto Repair. I brought my 2020 X5 BMW for a full brake consultation. I had a quote from the local BMW dealership that almost made me fall off my chair (yes, as expected). From start (sending a service appointment request online) to finish, the experience was outstanding. The Milelli team is knowledgeable, honest, and takes the time to explain exactly what’s going on with your vehicle—no pressure, no upselling, just straightforward advice you can trust....and never once treated me like a woman that didn't know her car. The work on my car was done efficiently, there was constant communication before/during/after the work was done, the pricing was incredibly fair, and my brakes feel amazing. It’s rare to find an auto repair shop that combines technical expertise with genuine customer care, but Milelli’s does exactly that. This is the kind of place you feel confident recommending to friends and family. I won’t take my car anywhere else.

The professionalism and kindness I experienced at Milellis is hard to come by these days! My battery died on my leased 2024 Acura. Come to find out Acura does not warranty the original battery and quoted me over $500+ for a new one. Frustrated and confused, a friend said to call Milellis. I’m so grateful for the recommendation. Both Steve and Brian were eager to help and got me in right away. They explained what was going on and didn’t make me feel like a moron! They were quick with the work and charged a very fair price! I lease my cars because I don’t trust mechanics. But I can honestly say, I’m rethinking going the leasing route, now that I finally found a shop I can trust! Thanks again!

Stopped here emergently on my way back to Somerset County on 10/31/25 due to my undercarriage cover on my Kia Stinger falling down. They helped me out right away and Ramone made sure everything was safe and secure for me to drive home on 287! Such nice guys and they didn’t even charge me a dime. Was upset I didn’t have any cash on me to even tip them but so incredibly grateful for small town businesses like this who still care about people! Renews my faith in humanity for this holiday season!

I was looking for a second opinion about the brake pads and rotors replacement recommended by the dealer. Brian was very kind and honest on the phone telling me that the estimate will be free whether I will decide to have the work done there or not. I was surprised and touched later when I picked up my car to hear Steve telling me that their inspection results shows I don't need to replace the parts and asked me to recheck after 6 months without charging me any fees. I would choose them for future regular maintenance and repair.

The staff answer any questions you might have and always go the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied. This place was recommended to me by many people and I can see why, satisfied customers are your best advertisement. I take all my families vehicles there and haven’t been disappointed yet…. Honestly amazing. I got a flat on a Monday after work and had to put the spare tire on. Brought it in on Tuesday, they took the tire and instead of just buying a new tire to charge me money, they did what a real auto place does and tried to see if they could patch the tiny hole. Which they did! I brought it in late Tuesday, they fixed it. And then when I asked if I could come grab it Wednesday, I had said I couldn’t I work late and they would be closed. They were sympathetic and even stayed late for me to quickly come back Tuesday night before they closed for me to get the new tire on so I didn’t drive more with the spare. Honestly hands down recommend. That small interaction makes me recommend them. They could tell I was upset because I was on a million other things. And they helped me out beyond quickly. They were amazing people and I wish I had been in a better mood to reciprocate how sweet they were. Amazing and friendly place

Steve Milelli is without a doubt the most knowledgeable and friendly Mechanic around. No fancy Waiting room, just a good old fashioned hard working owner with an excellent staff. Yesterday my Outback wouldn’t start. I called Milelli Auto Service. The car was picked up, problem diagnosed (dead battery) and new one installed, all in under 2-1//2 hours. It’s very rare to find a Mechanic like Steve Milelli any more.

Wow! I finally found an honest, professional and polite mechanic. They checked my 2013 Miata over and did not sell me anything. They gave me great advice about things I could do if I wanted but did not push anything on me. I will be bringing any and all auto work I ever have to these guys.

Steve and his company's service is simply the best around and they always find time to fit you in even though they are extremely busy. They are honest about what is actually needed and what can wait to be done. Secondly, they go out of their way to check issues for little to no extra cost and the services they provide are always reasonably priced. Best and nicest mechanic around! Highly recommend!

Honestly there are not a lot of places like Milellis. Steve, his son and his crew are just an incredible team. As far as mechanics go, you will never find someone more honest, and trust worthy. My entire family goes to Steve for absolutely anything car related. Steve picked me and my car up from the middle of Madison Avenue in less than 10 minutes of calling when my car died. The service is impeccable and I can’t recommend this family owned business enough.

I use Milleli’s for everything. They are reliable, have integrity, and strive to provide excellent customer service. There’s a real old school, family-run ethos about this place that sets them apart. Now of course it is also important to note that not only are they kind but extremely consistent and knowledgeable. I’ve only gotten accurate time frames for service from them (even exceeding and having my car back to me sooner than expected at times) and they’ve been extremely flexible with me when I’ve had to make unexpected, urgent appointments. If you’re local (or frankly even if you’re not) - there’s no reason to go elsewhere.

Amazing and prompt service!! Called for a tow and described my vehicle wouldn't start and my dash was throwing multiple error messages. Almost immediately they told me what they thought the issue might be in an effort to help so I didn't request an unnecessary tow. Unfortunately, I had limited resources so I still need the tow. Tow truck came within 15 minutes of me calling. Instead of instantly hooking up my vehicle to tow to the shop, the driver checked to see if the suspected problem was the issue (bad battery) and brought a jump pack. Bingo! Started right up and error messages started to disappear. How refreshing to interact with a company that was helpful, honest, and prepared. Thank you Steve and Nick!! Highly recommend - hopefully, I don't get stranded again in Morristown but if I do, I know who I'm calling!

I don't often get our vehicles towed, but I was lucky to find out about Milelli's Auto Service by sheer luck (through Google Search). After some comparative shopping, Milelli's was found to have the most reasonable pricing. Nick, the driver who picked up our car came, came as scheduled, got our car to the dealership within the timeframe they stated, and even provided us with feedback from the dealership with our car's issues. I felt that they truly did an excellent job in handling our situation and would have no qualms with using them again! Thank you.

Called about a jump start as the place I usually go didn't have the ability to come to you. Steve was professional & friendly on the phone, and his son Nick came to the rescue soon after. He got the car running again, and was very pleasant & nice. No complaints!

I met Steve, the owner, and was he was very polite, friendly and professional. He explained everything, answered my questions and made me feel very comfortable with the prices and options for parts. Work was completed quickly and I was extremely happy with the quality of the work and the price! They also have a towing service, which is good to have in an emergency. I highly recommend Milelli's and will be using them again!

I have nothing but highly positive interactions with Milelli's. Steve and Victor are top-notch, focused on their customers and most importantly, honest. The mechanics are good, and Steve's son Nick is following in the footsteps here as well. I've had multiple interactions with them where they recommended low-cost repairs (or no work) when someone else would charge up as much as possible. They take care three cars in my household (one of which seems to be always in trouble). They always make time and take care of our issues right away. I've also had emergency issues that they dropped everything to fix. I had an issue a few months ago when we had just started on a long road trip to a wedding. Had a flat, the spare was rusted in. We had to get towed to the shop. I called Steve and asked for some urgent help. They took us in, cut out the spare, fixed the flat and gave us a spare tire in case we had an emergency. All within an hour. They are good people. I highly recommend them!

I have been a customer here for over 15 years. Not once have I been disappointed. Not one time. Straightforward estimates, repair time estimates, and on the off chance your car will be taking longer, you will get a phone call well ahead so you can plan. If you do not need it fixed, Steve will tell you. No added on service that is not necessary, like the highway dealers. This business makes its money based on one principle: Do it right, the first time. You will be happy, you will tell your friends.

I trust Steve and the crew 100% with my cars. My family has been going to them for 17 years. Many times they told me to wait on issues or have found cheaper solutions to save money. They are honest and dependable in everything they do.

I have now been to Milelli's on 3 separate occasions, and I can't say enough about the exceptional service I received each time. Here are a couple of quick anecdotes that shed some light on the kind of people they are: 1. On one occasion, I couldn't get my car to start so I called Milelli's to come tow it. They could've just showed up and towed it without even seeing what was wrong with the car, as that would've made them more money. Instead, they successfully attempted to start my car and allowed me to avoid the towing charge. I can't imagine many businesses have that level of integrity. 2. Another time, I brought my car in on Saturday towards closing time. If I didn't get it back that day it wouldn't be ready until Monday and I wouldn't have been able to get to work. Steve had no obligation to do so, but he stayed late that day to make sure I got my car back in time. Not only that, but he never tries to squeeze extra charges into my bills. In summary, I see a number of reviews describe Milelli's as "honest", "fast", and "reasonably priced", and I couldn't agree more. I'd highly recommend Milelli's to anyone who needs their car serviced in the Morristown area.
