The service at Randolph was way better. It's crazy that 2/3 of the printers are not working, and the employee in the copy department was not willing to print. They closed the wrong location...Randolph was wayyyy better. Here again on 11/13 and Jack is rude and has POOR customer service.
Saw a laptop I wanted online, went to discuss and order it from the store. The employee I spoke to seemed bothered by me asking to do that, and then just told me he couldn’t do it and to call the website and just do it from the website. I drove 10 minutes further to Parsippany and had someone in store place the order and I am set to pick it up tomorrow. Obviously the Livingston location is severely lacking training and that is directly management or owners faults.
I usually come to print things for myself, once to update my passport photo. Never had an issue. The employees are helpful. I do find the location a bit remote compared to the now closed west orange location. And they had pokemon cards surprisingly
There’s an old gentlemen with tattoos at the print center. His attitude toward my 15-month-old child was rude, and it really left a bad impression. My baby was just playing with something, and the man said, ‘I wish he hadn’t done that,’ with an unpleasant look on his face. It was a bad experience overall and shame.
Next time, I'll find another place to print my things.
I have been dealing with Staples for years. The stores are always clean and well stocked. The personnel are always friendly and willing to help you. You always get more bang for your dollar as evidenced by their many competitors that are no longer in business.
Everyone in Staples in Livingston are extremely helpful. They are very nice and always ready to help. Special shout out to the printing department! They are the best!
I wanted to take a moment and thank the staff at Staples. We support a charity called DeDilSe (give with heart) that donates school supplies. The staff was very kind in helping us gather the items and patiently checking us out. Thank you for all of your support - we truly appreciate it.

The store has everything I need for my business and my personal life. It’s easy to get to. It has a great parking and the people there are always a big help.

Great Staples location..Was looking to complete my TSA fingerprints, and this was an easy process at this particular store. Got me in and out in 10-12 minutes. Will go back again.

Needed a new printer for my computer.
Unfortunately, the model I purchased uses a different cartridge from those I stocked up on two weeks before.
Sales rep took back the four I bought then and applied the credit to the new supply I bought with the printer. I figure he saved me over $100!
Definitely will be returning in the future.
Well planned store with very helpful staff. When I need supplies to help me market my extraordinary travel services I always go to Staples because they mirror my customer service standards.
Beware - the printing department misses deadlines & does not communicate well. I placed an order that was to be ready today by 5:30pm. The store called me with questions a few hours before then and told me they estimated it would be done around 4pm. I never heard from them after that so I went to the store at 6pm (Google listing had their hours until 7pm) but the doors were locked. The printing associate initially waved me off but when he saw I was upset opened the door and told me they hadn’t finished and the job was too complex to complete in a day with the paper stock I chose, double sided printing & coil. I had an important business trip & meeting I needed these documents printed for & would have been fine with any paper stock or binding option, I just needed them done. They offered me no solution or never warned me ahead of time that there was risk of not completing on time. I had to scramble at the last minute to get the printing done in time for my trip. Luckily the Madison Staples store was open & they were able to quickly & professionally accomplish what I needed in 2 hours, what Livingston wasn’t able to do in 1.5 days. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the employees I talked to were not rude, they were just disorganized and really unnecessarily put me into a stressful situation without offering solutions.
I was pretty pleased with the quality of customer service I received at the Staples on route 10 in Livingston / East Hanover area. This is very rare now days. I did not have to chase anyone for assistance. They were there and well informed.

I have been shopping at this Staples for at least the last 25 years but now the experience has become downright unpleasant. I am not sure who in corporate thought this was a good idea but lately every time I go to the store I am nagged by at least one employee to immediately put the Staples app on my phone - this is nonstop and has become so annoying that I am just ordering my office supplies from somewhere else. I have no need or desire to put your app on my phone and if it becomes the only way to participate in the rewards program, I will just stop shopping at Staples all together. The same with the extended service contracts (which are ALWAYS a scam) - it seems lately that no matter what you buy or how little it costs, the employees are pushing the extended sales contracts and don't take no for an answer. I actually walked out of the store while checking out because the employee insisted I needed the extended warranty. I actually feel bad for the employees - I am sure someone is corporate is pushing both of these items without realizing how annoying it is to the customer - and then they wonder why the stores are empty?
Staples Livingston is great and fast.
The print & marketing associates are excellent and very helpful especially Jack he is a star worker, always going above and beyond.
Everyone is very pleasant and smile not like other locations.
we visited the Staples in Livingstion, NJ on Monday (5/22/23) looking for a new printer. We met with an associate (possibly the manager) and he asked us a few questions with regard to our needs and showed us 2 printers and explained each on. No pressure and when we made our decesion, he carried the printer to the registers and made sure we were afforded all of the available discounts. A+ service.
Isiah (I hope I spelled his name correctly) provided amazing customer service not just to me but to others who needed his help. He deserves all the recognition for his hard work and ability to manage multiple people at once.
I had an issue at another Staples so I called and spoke to Lee, the manager here. He was absolutely amazing. The product I'd purchased from the other store had been on sale when I bought it as well, and even though that sale had ended, he price matched it with no issues at all. Next time I need anything from Staples I'll be coming here. Very happy with my experience. Thanks so much Lee!
