Wow: You know what is said ,it’s hard to find a good mechanic. Well I found Mikes Service. But beforehand I took my jeep to the dealership for service, (very costly. ) The last time they said I needed to replace my heater core, So that’s when I found out about Mikes Service ,took my jeep to them to confirm if it needed a new heater core. Mike said it only needed a cheap thermostat to fix. (SAVED HUNDREDS …. SO Very Honest ) That when I asked , do you also service High performance Mustangs and Mike said without hesitation that’s my favorite engine (Coyote ) Well needless to say that my Jeep and Mustang will only and always be Serviced @ Mikes Service Center. VERY friendly, Knowledgeable, trustworthy and the prices are also fair and reasonable.

Let me ABUNDANTLY CLEAR, Do Not! I repeat DO NOT get your car serviced at: Mike’s Service Center, 400 UNION AVENUE - BELLEVILLE, NEW JERSEY 07109 With an issue of overheating of my vehicle I was in constant communication with Mike service center to resolve the issue, however, I was told the issue was the coolant engine fan. After I was assured that this was the issue of the overheating I was charged about my way, whoever the issue was still persistent, and I immediately reached out to my service center to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue. Finally the bled the system for air. However the issue was still present. I brought this to Mike Junior, the son Now, at this particular time, I spoke to the son Mike Junior, the younger owner. I was explaining the issue in detail so he can make a proper diagnosis while I was on the phone. He continued to ( Brush me) off as he seemed annoyed or busy. I found it quite rude because I’ve seen him have this attitude towards other customers while in the shop despite how I felt, I brought my vehicle in because the issue was urgent and needed immediate attention. Why trying to explain the issues to him and show him the temperature gauge via photo and video of what was going on under my hood to assist him, he continued to walk out of my face and said “yes I understand your car is overheating “ loudly. So I dropped the car off on Saturday with expectations to get it on Monday, which I did, he explained to me that Monday when I called that there was air in the system and bled the system for me, he told me that there shouldn’t be any other issues with overheating and that he test drove it, and there was no overheating. Free of charge he said, which was reasonable due to it was about the THRID TIME I brought it. Now I drove it that that night and the car was still overheating so I decided to call because Tuesday 11/04/2025 the issue was still persistent. Mike Junior the son was not receptive to what I was explaining to him about my vehicle. He seem very annoyed when I was explaining to him when I asked him what it could be for clarity because I didn’t know if I needed to get my own parts because the issue started to become costly. He decided to be very disrespectful and loud proceeded to hang the phone up in my ear. At the moment I decided to visit the shop to bring the car when I arrived I asked him when have I ever been disrespectful to you, he replied that I had never been disrespectful to him, but I was asking stupid questions and I keep calling about my vehicle. He was obviously frustrated or annoyed that he couldn’t properly fix the vehicle and that I was persistent to try to get it fixed. So this was my fourth time trying to get the car fixed. I returned my vehicle to the shop because I wanted to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue, however, I was met with Mike Junior the son, with this disrespectful attitude and tone vulgarity and a persistent problem that my car was not fixed and still overheating. I feel like I paid for nothing. He was more than rude and disrespectful yelling at me and telling me that I can take my business elsewhere when all I was looking for was clarity to try to get my car fixed. I will never conduct business with them ever again. Mike Junior, the son did not conduct himself in a professional manner or like a proper businessman, this individual is not an honorable man and cannot perform under work-life stress its unfortunate. This is how he treats his customers because as he claims he has a good reputation my experience was horrific. Please do not get your car serviced here. You will have continuous problems and you will be back shortly. HIS ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR AND BUSINESS WAS UNACCEPTABLE. Please RELASE THE TAPE of our encounter on November 4th 2025 at 12:25pm - 12:45pm of your behavior and language in side the office of the shop!

Very quick and professional service! Mike is the best ;) I would definitely recommend coming back again.

Long story short: Jr. Knew to change all 4 motor mounts but I only made the vibration worse by insisting he change 2. Well Transmission mount was shot and that got fixed when We changed the other 2. And I needed a radiator. All told 900$ for 4 motor mounts and a Radiator. Go somewhere else and it's 1500$.The man is a good God fearing person, and now I have a mechanic and a new friend. Thank God.

I will not be going to any other mechanic than Mikes.He's honest and informs you exactly what's going on.He tries his best to help you and goes up and beyond to do what's right.I lived closed but moved and now I moved a hour and a half away.The mechanics around me have messed my car up and Mike fixed it.Engine,brakes,exhaust,and trans Mikes done it to my car.I trust his work

My husband's car needed new tires and an alignment. After speaking to Mike Jr a few times, we were able to bring the new tires to Mike's Service Center to get the job done. It was done in a few hours and he even offered to drive to my place of work to drop it off. The car is in great shape but it still make a slight "chu chu" sound but NOT his fault at all. That noise was there before. We just thought after changing the tires and stuff, the noise would go away. Mike offer to look at it again and fix the issue when we have time to bring it in. He even knew what the noise was when hubby was trying to explain to him. I can't rave enough about him. What a great guy and a professional at his job. Wish we met him sooner before I sold my other car. Now we are going to go to him for all our cars. Thank you Mike Sr and Mike Jr. ❤️ Update: Car had another issue and Mike Jr fixed it. Now only did he fixed it, he explained it in layman’s terms to us. It was quick and very professional. He wouldn’t even charge us until he was sure it was fixed. We love this guy. Just so glad we meet him. Highly Highly recommended.

Honestly Mike's has been a life saver this past week. I was referred to them by my family member who works at Jeep. They were able to diagnosis a bad fuel pump and evamp system issue and have it repaired within 1 week. Also advising on other concerns that needed to be addressed within the coming months. The dealership quoted 2wk repair tine for $3500. MIKE'S WAS MUCH CHEAPER. Fast forward to today 6/2/25 i have another issue completely unrelated and they were able to take my vehicle, test drive with me in it and hear the issue. Called me back less than 1hr of dropping it off. Fast, reliable and family oriented. I appreciate them so much and they will be on the only people touching my jeep from here on out.

I’ve only had good experiences at Mike’s Service Center. Mike is a personal friend and always treats me with respect and steers me in the right direction. Mike is the only mechanic I trust with my Jeep Wrangler and overall just a very solid shop that I have been able to trust and honesty with. Absolutely the best service I could get. They are very professional Mike was very helpful I went somewhere else because my tire pressure light kept coming on and they told me I needed to buy a brand new tire after I already installed four new ones I went to Mike's service center and it ended up only being the sensor he personally inspected my tires and made sure they were fine Then he personally drove my car to make sure the light went off I will always bring my vehicle back here their professionalism is amazing and everybody there was so nice and courteous I would definitely recommend them for any of your car needs one of the first places I've ever been that's been honest and good with prices

Mike and his crew are awesome. They always take care of any issues I have with any of my vehicles. The turn around time is great as well. I drop off the car in the morning and it’s always ready to go before I leave work for the day. I would highly recommend Mikes Service Center to be your new service station.

Mike Sr and Mike Jr Services is Out Standing. I had ABS issue with my 2018 Toyota RAV4. I am happy and satisfied with the great job, they did with my car. Mike is a great person him and his father they are extremely flexible and patient I really wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. They do good work here.

Mikes Service Center has been a trusted repair shop locally for years. I've provided Towing service for customers to go there and feel the prices are fair. Shopping for a cheaper price, is not an option for quality service.

AVOID THIS PLACE – You’ve Been Warned Mike’s may advertise “discounts,” but in my experience, the low prices come at a high cost. After getting my car repaired here, I ran into a completely new issue just days later—and I’m not alone. This has happened with multiple cars, including those of friends. It’s become a pattern. If you truly want your car fixed right the first time, I recommend staying far away from this shop.

Today I stopped by to get an oil change here at Mike's Service Center. The service was immaculate and Mike is very professional. He was very welcoming and polite. I will definitely return for future services.

I had taken my van to another place where they supposedly fixed the brakes, but I didn't feel completely confident driving. I met Mike and trusted his work. He fixed the brakes and the air conditioning, and now I feel completely confident driving my van. I highly recommend Mike.

This shop is amazing. I have a 2018 wrangler that was overheating. I brought it to a few places and no one could figure out what was wrong. I was given the run around or given a very large overcharge amount. I came to Mike’s service center and he found the issue and repaired it. They’re very honest and affordable. He calls you with the diagnosis and the cost. I was getting discouraged thinking I would have to get rid of my jeep. These guys are great, I highly recommend them. My son is having an issue with his jeep’s tire sensors, I told him to definitely bring it to this shop. I also want to say I appreciate being talked to like a customer and not just a “woman” bringing in her car to get fixed.

Took my daughter in laws 2018 equinox to get repaired for no brakes on Jan 3. Mike told me it was an air pump that's connected to the cam shaft. It was going to cost me $750 to fix the problem. The next day he called me on the phone and told me both cam shafts are damaged, the timing chain is damaged, it skipped timing, the vacuum pump is damaged and now it's going to cost $1800. On Jan 6, his son called me and told me that he's going to save me some money and it's now $1555. I personally think that Mike Service is a rip-off. He should've told me from the get-go,'I don't know what's the problem. I have to look into it first.'
