I have purchased four cars from them and I couldn’t happier. They went out of their way to be helpful each time and if I need to purchase another vehicle, this is the place where I will go! Car Haulers be ware. Went there to pick up a vehicle dispatch by CarsArrive, and they refused to release the vehicle. I should the dispatched paperwork, vehicle information and they requested an auction clearance #. I've never heard that in my life since I've been Hauling cars. Pickup locations have never requested no such thing.. ended up leaving in frustration

My experience at Bergenfield Auto Mall with Tamir and Laura could not have been better - they truly care about their customers and supported my husband and me in making the best decision for us. There is a sign inside that says “come as a customer, leave as a friend” and that is truly how we felt.

The woman working there is frivolous. We were told we could rent a car at 7:30. But when we arrived at 6:30, they told us they couldn't rent a car. They were letting us drive around in traffic for nothing.

I usually hate buying cars. It is such a long and stressful process. It is so nice to deal with people that cut to the chase. I know my credit wasn't great. I know cars because I sell parts. This was a great experience from the minute they welcomed me in the door. I will tell anyone that wants to buy a car to go here.

I was looking for a grand cherokee for a month or so looked at a couple of them didn't really like them was looking online and found this 19 grand cherokee limited x decided to take the 1 hour and half drive the vehicle was in great shape and the dealership employees were very welcoming and nice thank you again for making my buying process so easy will definitely be back in the future for more vehicles.

Bought my car here last year. Very good price and the vehicle wasn’t beaten or with nasty surprises. I generally do not like dealers but the fact that he didn’t try to sell me bogus extended warranties or jack up the price during negotiations was remarkable to me. The price I saw online was the price I paid. Will definitely do business with them again.

When you read the reviews you say to yourself "Is this dealership really that great of a place to buy a vehicle" The answer is hell yeah!!!!! From the moment I called Tamir and Lora took great care of me. They answered any and all questions and I didn't feel rushed or pressed to buy. I didn't feel like I have have felt in the past with some fast talking guy that wanted to just take my money in the end. By the end of my experience Lora and I are cracking jokes with one another because they make you feel right at home. Tamar and Lora need a raise because they take care of you and are genuinely good people. Thank you Bergenfield Auto. I definitely will buy from you again. We had an amazing experience at Bergenfield Auto Mall - everything went perfectly. Lora and Tamir could not have been friendlier, they both went above and beyond. They took care of everything, one stop shopping, amazing. We test drove the car in the morning and we were driving it away that afternoon. Honest, trustworthy and NO hidden fees, which is what we encountered at other dealerships. You can tell that they care about all of their cars, every car on the lot was detailed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had great experience at Bergenfield automall, I was dealing with Lora and she handled everything on the phone or by email. All I had to do is was come in to see the car, test drive the vehicle and sign some paper work and was out the door. I've been to other dealerships and they have you in there for hours. I have bought cars out of state before but this was BY FAR the worst experience. First thing I did when I arrived at the dealership was ask the owner if there were any issues or history of accidents. He said there were not. That wasn't true. The truck had several issues. The suspension was not properly calibrated in the left front to the point when turning to the right would cause the wheel to rub with the fender. Additionally the truck had the incorrect tires as the rebel requires LT grade tires and the truck had regular tires. When I took the truck into the Dodge/Ram dealership to get repairs they also pointed out that the truck had previously been in an accident and pointed out the left rear fender was all bondo (body filler). After all of this I was out over $3200 for tires and suspension repairs. When I asked the dealer if they would cover just the suspension repair which itself was $650+ they said it was not their problem. Mind you, when I brought the truck in for repairs the techs said the truck was not safe to drive on the road. The dealer offered me $200 but in all honesty this should have been addressed before listing the truck for sale. At the time of purchasing the truck the right rear tire was pretty low on air hiding the sag in the front. If I was told the truth on the issues with the truck I wouldn't have purchased it. On top of this the dealer said they could register the car in CT and no emissions test was required, but 3 weeks into the 4 weeks my temp tag was valid, I get a call stating I have to get my emissions tested. I did so the next day and still had to wait an additional month for plates rendering my truck not road legal. This was a terrible experience. Responding to the dealer: Just because there is a clean carfax does not mean the truck has never been in an accident. Not every repair shop will update the carfax records let alone if someone did it themselves. Regardless there were clear indications of bondo on the interior rear quarter panel which while I may have missed myself, it was not something that would/should be missed if the truck was lifted up and being inspected pre sale. Especially if I am asking if there were any previous accidents with the truck. Even the dealership techs said the truck wasn't safe and this should have been addressed before selling. And when you say I had no knowledge...I literally asked if I would have to get emissions done in CT like I did for the car I purchased in PA and was told NO. The wheel rubs on the fender when going over 60 mph which would not be noticed when driving on city streets. And yes the air in the tire was low, that's why the owner had to go across the street and put air in the tire as there was a low tire pressure indicator, which was allegedly due to the truck sitting in the cold. I appreciate the response to my review however I wish there was more honesty and accountability with the truck. The suspension not being calibrated was a safety issue that unfortunately should have been caught and fixed during inspection.

In early Sept my husband and I bought a used car from this establishment. We had felt comfortable since the process went fairly easily. Not even 4 months later, we started experiencing some issues with the car. When I reached out to Bergenfield Auto Mall for assistance, they referred me to some mechanic who was extremely unprofessional and wouldn't even look at our car/run a diagnostic for a week. My husband needs the car for work. So we took it elsewhere. Long story short, the engine had massive engine problems that required multiple expensive repairs. The warranty covered less than half of the repairs. We had to pay $3,200 out of pocket. I had contacted Bergenfield Auto Mall about the issues, upset that they had sold me a car that obviously had problems that were undisclosed, or they were negligent during their pre-sale maintenance. I kindly asked if their business offers any goodwill assistance or compensation for unexpected major repairs shortly after purchase. If they had even offered me some type of compensation for the weeks my husband went without a car to go to work, spending money on ubers and asking for rides, at least it would've been something. But, of course, they couldn't even do that. They dodged my calls until I sent an email, to which they replied with the usual "there's nothing we can do". We paid $3,200 to get the car drivable again. We had to get a loan to cover these repairs. Before this experience, I would've been glad to send my friends and family to do business here, but now I know that this business is shady at best. Terrible experience. Terrible customer service. Typical used car salesman schemes. Stay far far away from this business.

Where do I start with this one. I’m not great with reviews but this was such an amazing experience I wanted to share. I believe the guys name was Tamer who assisted me in the process with a beautiful Chevy Tahoe they had on the lot. Car was amazing in every way and pricing was fair, they work with you to get you approved. My credit wasn’t the best but when they tell you good credit bad credit believe it. They got me approved with no issues at all and i was able to leave same day making just buying so easy and hassle free. No games or nothing tells you everything straight up so you’re not blind sided by fees or anything. I definitely recommend checking them out if in the market for a car or suv. Even if they don’t have what you want there they'll be able to get it. Just an awesome and great experience will be back in the future. Thank you again Tamer for all the help. edited review: I want to clarify my perspective and why I felt frustrated during this process. Firstly, I spoke to Laura on Saturday, 11/16, after submitting an online application (see photos). During that initial conversation, I was led to believe the process would be smoother and more transparent than what I experienced. Regarding the down payment, the amount I initially mentioned was to get an idea of what the numbers would look like. If it had been clear from the beginning that a larger down payment was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for approval, I would have been prepared to adjust and provide that. The issue for me wasn’t the credit challenges or the down payment requirements, which I completely understand, but rather the lack of follow-up and clear communication throughout the process For instance, after I visited your location on Tuesday night with my cosigner, we were told that you would contact us the following day to keep us updated. Regardless if the bank responded or not, YOU DIDNT CALL AS YOU SAID YOU WOULD! The fact that you chose to reply to my review - and chose to do so in a very distasteful manner from a professional standpoint, reaffirms my negative experience because it shows a lack of consideration and I didn’t appreciate that as a potential customer. I had to repeatedly reach out for information, and it felt as though I wasn’t being kept in the loop. A simple proactive update on the status of my application whether positive or negative, would have gone a long way in easing my concerns. I understand that credit and financial situations can make the approval process more complex, but I believe better communication and follow-up from you would have made this experience less frustrating. I left your office on Tuesday, and the following day I’ve applied and gotten approved for an auto loan wi a REASONABLE down payment even with, in your words, my BAD CREDIT smh. I hope you don’t mislead future customers to think that it takes several days to get an approval, and instead try being more transparent or use better sales strategies to meet both your sales goals and ensuring customers are satisfied.

Bergenfield Auto Mall has definetely the best warranty and after-sale service that can be found. I’ve purchased many cars over the years, and frankly I was almost always nervous about chosing a pre-owned vehicle dealership. Fortunately, Bergenfield Auto Mall change that perception about the experience of buying a used car dealer. The owner is the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with. He is is extremely patient through the entire purchase. He was fast to answer all my questions and really went above and beyond to secure our desired car and ensure top quality. But it is their after-sales service that makes sure products and services met and surpassed my expectations. Their excellent customer service made the entire experience a pleasure and because of this, I highly recommend Bergenfield Auto Mall. I will definitely go back the next time we need a used car. I made an appointment for a GL550. They say that everything is perfect on the car but there was not. The car was painted, with many dents and crashed before. When I ask the owner, why did you not tell me before for these issues, his answer is: "you should know that this is an used car" So prepare for your bitter experience if you buy from this dealer, or escape the troubles.

When I came in to Bergenfield Auto Mall looking for a vehicle I wasn't sure what to expect. At first I was a little skeptical because of past experiences with car dealerships, but I came to realize not all car dealerships are the same. They have really good customer service and do not advertise false prices. Luis the sales person answer all my questions and even took the time to go on a test drive with me, then I went to Mary who did my finance. She went above and beyond to get me the lowest rate possible even though my credit was not the best. They made the process of purchasing the car fast and easy without leaving any of my questions unanswered. I bought the car about a month ago and I said let me wait to write a review so that I can drive and check the car. The car is running very good and my mechanic tells me its in really good condition. I am really impressed with my whole experience with the dealership. Thank you so much guys!

Just bought a car from them. Mary was who helped me through the loan process, she is awesome. I made a mistake buying a car without doing a road test because I didn't ask for it so when I got the car find out about a noise, is not a big deal but it was my fault. I'll be updating my comment if something bad happens to my car in a short time but in the meantime I'm pleased.
