I wanted to have my vehicle undercoated, spoke with Joe and he advised me of the process for undercoating and answered any questions I had including cost if no issues were found A few weeks later I set up an appointment online which was simple. On the scheduled day I left the vehicle in the morning, around 2:00 I received a call the vehicle was ready to be picked up. I am pleased with the outcome and will be having it done again on a yearly basis as the undercoating is oil-based.

The guys at OUTLAWED SPECIALTIES did a great job removing all the loose rust & undercoated my 2005 Jeep TJ. All the guys were very pleasant to talk with. Joe, the owner explained everything that would be done to my vehicle ahead of time and after completion.

Joe is very thorough and has a wealth of knowledge to treat my car and my husband's truck. I first sent my Ford Edge in for an undercoating to save my vehicle from road salt damage. Then we sent my husband's Ford F250 in. Not only did Joe treat the body he also found rodent damage under the fender liner of the truck. He immediately called my husband and fixed the damage. Joe also stated that the mice and squirrels will not do any more damage since they do not like the chemicals that are in the undercoating. Can't Thank Joe enough!! Highly recommend this place of business and will refer him to all our friends.

I recently brought my 2010 Toyota 4-runner into Joe to repair a crack in the frame. From start to finish, Joe was realistic about what he could and couldn’t do. While my truck was up on the lift, he explained everything from start to finish. When the job was completed, he showed me photos of the work, explained why he did it, and took some extra steps to save me a little money. Joe definitely takes pride in his work. I highly recommend him.

I wanted to save my 2013 Chevy Silverado frame from terrible rust so that I could get a few more years of service from this otherwise terrific truck, and I didn't want to pay $50,000++ for a new truck. Looking online, I only found shops in CT, upstate NY, PA, OH, and places farther away. But then I found Outlawed Specialties as a local place that specializes in rusted frame repair. Joe did a phenomenal job of making the needed repairs. After taking the truck bed off, he removed the rotted cross members, installed new ones, and added reinforcing plates where needed. A ton of hard, dirty work prepping the truck for the welds. Great communication from Joe with emails which included photos of the extent of the rust along with the progress of his work. Fantastic welds from this experienced professional who takes pride in the quality of his work. I also had the oil undercoating added. Highly recommended to keep rust from coming back. (Note: the oil undercoating does have a bad odor for about a week until it burns off the hot surfaces.) I am very confident this truck will be solid for many years to come. Thanks Joe!

Joe did a great job on my 2000 chevy silverado.. He fixed what needed to be fixed and cleaned off all the rust on the frame and put on an undercoat. I couldn't be happier.. Highly recommend him for your rust removal and replacement needs. Joe is fair and honest. He takes pride in his work. So glad I found his shop. He gave my truck a new lease on life.

Joe did phenomenal work on my 2005 Dodge Dakota. The frame was significantly rotted out, but he was able to repair the damaged section thoroughly and properly. I never felt like he was BSing me about the extent of the damage, the extent of the repairs required, or the time and money required to repair it correctly. I would not hesitate to take any of my vehicles here again!

Joe did an amazing job welding and repairing the frame of my Ford Explorer Sport Trac. The undercoat spray looks great and will help me keep the truck on the road longer. His prices were reasonable and his honesty goes a long way. Highly recommend his work and expertise.

Our 2006 Toyota Tacoma's frame was in dangerously bad condition. My research came up with using Safe-T-Caps as a potential solution. I found only two shops equipped and willing do this repair within an hour of me. Outlawed Specialties is 40 minutes farther away than the other shop, and the estimate from O.S. was also about 20% higher than the latter's. Why did I go with Outlawed? First, Outlawed Specialties and the owner, Joe, were highly recommended to me in a Toyota Tacoma online forum. More importantly, everything Joe did gave me confidence in him (more than the other shop). Joe explained in great detail what he thought needed to be done and how he would do it, from which suppliers he would obtain parts, or, if necessary, fashion parts by CNC himself. He observed details like the need to re-route the AC line so it would not continue to drip on the frame after the repair. Unlike the other shop, Joe printed a complete and detailed estimate of the repair and the subsequent New Hampshire Oil undercoating treatment. He assured us that he would keep us updated with photos as he did the repair and would immediately let us know if he discovered anything that was missed in the original estimate. Joe (who is very personable, by the way) did exactly what he said; he was responsive to calls, he kept us updated. After completing the repair, he gave us sound advice regarding maintaining the undercoating going forward. We have the Tacoma back now with a new lease on life! I am so glad we paid a few hundred more - we got all we paid for!! Attached photos show one small bit of the decaying frame, then one of his welded repairs, then the repaired frame with oil applied.

My auto body shop recommended Joe as a great place to go for rust mitigation and repair. I had my 2008 Ram 1500 truck bed restored to new condition including a full undercoating. Joe didn’t cut out the rot and use bondo for a short term fix. He replaced the defective panels. He is a true craftsman!!! The truck bed literally looks brand new and I’ll keep my truck another 10 years +. He’s honest, his pricing is more than fair and he’s a great guy. In addition, Joe has replaced my suspension components, tweaked the front end, replaced my defective gas tank and repainted part of my truck cap. WOW!!! If everyone took this much pride in their work!! My Ram just went to my son who’s loving all the great work Joe’s done. Just purchased a new F350 and Joe did an awesome job undercoating and rust proofing the truck. His attention to detail is incredible (as I’m very fussy when it comes to my truck). Professional shop! Brought my brand new wrangler to Joe to be wax&oil undercoated, as well as another special coating that gets sprayed inside the body panels to help eliminate any rust and moisture for settling inside doors and behind fenders. Im blown away by the quality workmanship from this shop, as another fellow tradesman, its all tough finding good professional shops or businesses, but im glad i found Outlaw Specialties. They knocked it out of the park, and fitting me into his hectic drowning schedule without cutting corners or rushing the quality of work, everything from masking and taping off things they ideally you dont want sprayed, removing wheels, and to even taking the time to make sure there was no overspray left on any paint and wiped off. Thank you Joe for your service and time, you will always have a return customer here! If your looking for a shop, look no further.

Had rocker panels, cab corners and some rear fender work done on my Excursion. Joe was clear, honest and has fair pricing. Truck looks brand new. He also did the undercoating which was badly needed. Highly reccomend.

So I just want to thank everyone at the shop, not only for the work that they did undercoating 2 jeep wranglers for me, but for their patience in the process. I was looking for a good, reputable spot to get this done and I found them an hour away. I had difficulty getting back out to them so this all took longer than I expected. Outstanding guys to do business with. Joe and Martin do high quality / honest work. There’s no smoke and mirrors here. They do what they say they are going to do. And do a great job. The cost and billing process was fair and professional. They stayed very close to their estimate which isn’t easy on custom car work. Refreshing there wasn’t the estimate then some huge charge that wasn’t discussed. Communication was professional and easy. I highly recommend Outlawed Specialties. !!!

Joe is the best. Have a WRX that developed a rot hole in the rear quarter panel. It was all cut out and new sheet metal was welded in. Joe kept updating me with photos as he progressed. Very pleased customer here.

Joey went above & beyond on my truck and I’m so thankful for all his hard work. The paint job came out beautiful and with his help, we were able to get the truck running and out the door.
