We brought our f150 for them to fix the alternater. They said the water pump and differential also need to be replaced. This was my son's truck and I wanted him to be safe so I said go head and fix it all. They took two weeks to get it back to us. We got it home and the overflow for the coolent was bubbling over. They came with a tow truck and took it back. A few days later, they said it was fixed We went to pick it up and it would not start, light were all working, not even a click. A few days later they said it was fixed. My son took it to work and stopped at a store. Came back out and it would not start. They came and got it again. Had it for another week, at this point they have had the truck for a month! Said it was fixed again, we got it home. Next day my son takes it to his girl friends and once again it will not start. I call the shop, tell them again it will not start. Jim said that it was a loose connector that they fixed and chuckled. I told him it was the same problem and laughing he said to let it cool down and maybe it would start. He seem to think the whole thing was pretty funny! If it did not start they would come get it again. I said we would take it somewhere else. Laughing he said good! We did not have any previously problems with the truck starting until they "worked" on it. And Jim's attitude about the whole thing is pretty bad when he thinks it is funny that my son keeps getting stranded.
I personally would recommend going to Sunapee Street Auto Works they are a great local garage and do outstanding work at very fair nd reasonable prices twice my car needed extensive work and they came through both times and wasn’t a long process had car back faster then I thought so if need some automotive work definitely would think to call them ????
Amazing place with great mechanics, just ask for noah. He doesn't nickle and dime and is a straight shooter. Won't try to sell you on something you don't need either like most other mechanics or shops would.
The personal experience was the best. Service was on time, including a quick consult with the tech. It's a small sample size, but I wouldn't hesitate to check in here for work again. Not flashy with big tv monitors like the big guns, but how about superior service instead.
These guys are the best! Always friendly and efficient service, not to mention great prices. Kendra is a rockstar and always keeps me updated on my Subie’s status whether it’s an oil change or a recent repair. 10/10 recommend
These guys are busy for a reason. Your alternator won't magically die if you need an oil change. Fast, efficient and friendly, its no wonder they have cars there hand-over-fist. Highly recommended!
The guy estimated me on a power steering rack&pinion to replace for $550
Finds out he never did replace none but a power steering hose for that price???
What a rip off
I was about 2 hours from home when my alternator started to die. Jim was able to find me one and get it installed all in the same day. Easy to work with no hastle, I'd use him again.
Sunapee auto is doing excellent work and their price cannot be beaten. They have been fixing my Jaguar xj8 as good as the Jaguar dealership at a Fraction of the price. Thank you Noah and Sunapee auto team.
I called to get 2 parts done on my BF's box truck and he was rude when I told him what I needed. He was eating on the phone and told me he didn't care to do it but he would.
Absolutely WONDERFUL!! Needed a STATE INSPECTION;(first time living in a state that needed one). So incredibly pleased with the QUICK, PROFESSIONAL, and FRIENDLY service!!
In and out about 30 mins in total (when others quoted an hour)! Called several other shops in the area, Jim was the first one to say they could do it almost right away- and POLITELY too!
So GRATEFUL to have this stress squared away so soon , and a car that's ready to roll!

Friendly, fair and work always done in good time. Very happy with all of their work. The guys know what they're doing and are always willing to go above and beyond. And Kendra is just simply amazing! I may not like having to get my car fixed but I love going in there. Lol
Do not do business with Sunappee street auto ~ Never ever ~ I never had such bad work done to my car before - They air gunned all my lugs on my custom rims even the locking lugs. I wanted to talk to the fool at the shop who done the actual work on my car but the owners telling me that guy don't work there at that shop any more ~ The whole time smiling in my face - Very unprofessional - They messed my car up bad. I can't remove any of my tires now thanks to these clowns - Now I have to take my car to the Chrysler dealer ~ a real auto shop that does it right, to have my custom rims torched off. - like wow I gave these crooks over two thousand dollars for the worst work possible ~ Don't trust them. They air gun your lugs on to save time but any smart person knows that the air gun stretches the threads of the bolts making them weak. I can't believe this fool is in business - Don't have them work on your only transportation that you care about. It will never be the same leaving that shop. I use to work for the department of defence - for a long time ~ for our country and I am no fool - I got burned bad from Sunapee street auto ~ You will to... Best auto mechanic I’ve ever been to! Friendly staff who show you exactly what’s wrong and what their going to do to fix it! Been going here for over 5 years and nothing but praise for them!
This place has been nothing short of amazing! Just had my jeep worked on and our other car. They are amazing honest straight forward guys. I will for sure be going back in the further for any thing I need done! I honestly can’t express how wonderful of an experience we have had with them and how much we truly trust them.
I’ve had a lot of work done by them and each time they have done great! I definitely recommend them highly! Great prices and great customer service! I won’t be going anywhere else for the life of any of my vehicles!

I wish I could put more stars! They are wonderful! I went to Walmart to get my oil changed (if I had known they did oil changes, I would have gone here) and my car was fine, until Wednesday morning. I woke up Wednesday morning and the skid plate was hardly hanging on. Already late for work, I called Sunapee Street Autoworks, praying they would squeeze me in. The younger guy told me to come right down and he got me in IMMEDIATELY. I didn't even wait 2 minutes. Not that that wasn't more than enough already, but he then proceeded to tell me I would not be charged for this. I have had a couple experiences with them since moving here and I have to say I absolutely love them! They will be the ONLY one I go to!
I've bought hundreds of cars in my lifetime and never have I dealt with such an honest friendly place as synapse Street Autowerks . The owner and his son are friendly very easy to deal with the mechanics are a pleasure to deal with they all make you feel comfortable and they listen to you I bought a 2000 Tahoe just yesterday from them took it for a test drive and told them about a couple things I thought was wrong with it not only did they listen they put it right in the garage and fixed it had me come back and test drive it after to make sure I was satisfied , most important they don't pressure you they make it a very relaxing friendly atmosphere and I'm very happy with my purchase and will recommend anyone to do business there .
