I called from outside the area since my daughter is currently at UNH and needed new windshield wipers for her first vehicle. I specifically called ahead to confirm they had the correct wipers in stock and asked if they could set them aside to make the process as simple as possible for her.
I spoke with Kevin, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The process was not made easy, and there didn’t seem to be much willingness to take a few extra minutes to explain how the wipers install. When your college-aged daughter is handling something like this on her own for the first time, that extra bit of customer service really matters.
I understand businesses are busy, but I miss when places would go the extra mile to help someone out. Taking payment is one thing — follow-through and service are another.
Highly disappointed, and I won’t be sending my daughter back there in the future.
Not a bad auto parts store but more geared to the professional than to the rank amateur. Got body repair supplies and found the glazing compound I purchased was out of date and had separated. Usually mixing by kneading the tube will fix the issue but this tube refused to mix. Since it was after hours at Sanel, I bought another tube at their competitor's and it had no issues. I'm sure Sanel would take back the dated tube but it wasn't worth the trip for me. I got a can of custom mixed spray paint for the car I am repairing but I haven't checked the paint match yet.
Sanel wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't a great customer service experience compared to the competition.
