After my car was broken into outside the apartment complex where I live and the ignition was destroyed in the process of someone attempting to steal it, I asked my landlord where to park. He recommended a lot located outside the leasing office of my apartment. He told me as long as I was out of the lot before 7am I would have no problem parking there and that there were cameras. The next morning I went out to the lot at 6:45 am to move my car and found it’d been towed. I explained all of this to the towing company (even showing them the broken ignition which I’d replaced the day before, so they knew I wasn’t just making it all up)- they couldn’t have cared less, and threatened to make me stand out in the snow for being frustrated. The advice of the guy working there, regarding my landlord’s recommendation to park in that spot was “I shouldn’t listen to people..” interesting.. so I shouldn’t listen to the landlord of my apartment when he recommends I park outside the leasing office of my apartment? Who exactly is more qualified to tell me that kind of information? Zero empathy from any of them. They should all be ashamed to be a part of this company.

Ask the towing driver some questions to which he did not want provide answers too. And when I told him some facts about the way they operate, he starting stated insulting me to the point I was about to call the police and make a police report for future reference

Not very helpful. Towed my vehicle illegally and come to find out the tow truck company doesn't have a legal business license.. and has had three other tow truck business licenses terminated...

Thank you for cleaning up our streets and apartment complexes from un-lawful, un-thankful and filthy individuals . Keep up the good work. People can’t take accountability for their own actions and it’s sad to think that they can make uneducated adult decisions and accusations.

Needed my 27ft class A motorhome towed. Chance showed up and was awesome from the start. He was very helpful in getting the rig prepped to be towed. He drove safe and slow. He treated my motorhome as if it was his own. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more experienced driver. Five stars.

I’m not one to leave reviews but this one deserves it. If I could it would be zero stars and LEGIT any other tow company is miles better. If you want to go with a tow company with no brains or critical thinking, this is the company for you. If not then I HIGHLY ADVISE AVOIDING THIS COMPANY. Just based off how they do their tow away stickers, I wouldn’t be surprised if they 10x their tow prices for customers just because they are beyond predatory. These clowns constantly harass my car with tow stickers from inoperative (makes no sense since I drive it daily due to actually working, something this company isn’t familiar with), to expired tags. They act like they are the dmv and know if your tags are in date or not. Wouldn’t matter cause they still try to steal your car and then charge you 500+ to get it back. Cars are constantly parked for months at a time with no plates, get the pass and no sticker because they know they won’t get picked up. Predatory has to be this company motivation and I’ll be checking with my office about having them switch towing companies because these guys clearly don’t know how to do their job or they are intentionally being predatory.

Garbage company with even more garbage tactics instead of just...I dunno, not being shitty? My husband and I were displaced from our home due to a fire and the apartment complex we were placed at contracts this company. We do not technically live there. They execute “random patrols,” which we all know really means they’re just predatorily fishing for civilian cars to tow at 1 a.m. We’ve barely been at the complex two months and are already dealing with insurance/HOA nightmares and our actual home being unlivable and what do we find when we got up to leave for work this morning? Our truck is missing. Completely. No sticker, no notice, no warning. Just gone. We were home ALL DAY the day prior and they waited until after hours, completely dark out. It was parallel parked in front of our temporary unit’s garage just like many other residents and they towed it. Our neighbor’s vehicle is parked exactly the same way in front of their garage and they didn’t get towed. We’ve been told the cost to get the vehicle back is $350 and goes up after 48 hours. Obviously they also will start charging you storage fees by the day, so if you’re poor or can’t get time off work to go get your vehicle back, GOOD LUCK. Predatory tactics at their finest. Absolute scam way to prey on civilians. You never know what people are going through and you seriously just kicked and stomped all over us while we’re already down. And to the skinny old lady with dark hair and glasses on Matley: you're right, you're not a valet, you actually have to have class to do that. You work at the Tow Truck Company. Enjoy, and may you get the customers you deserve. Rest of the employees are just as unprofessional - lazing around the tow yard, spewing profanity and play fighting while cigarettes hang out their mouths. They pack vehicles so tightly into the yard that they can barely locate them. When we asked where our truck even was, the same rude lady told us she didn’t know and to find it ourselves. Honestly surprised she didn’t slam the window in our face. They use an old forklift to throw vehicles around the yard so don’t be surprised if it takes 30 minutes for them to drag your vehicle out of their mess or gets dinged up in the process. Unsurprisingly, this place is one of, if not THE worst rated tow company in Reno and it’s clear why - they make their money on scam tows, not service. If you need any tow services, my recommendation is Cal-Neva Towing. Good riddance.

Potentially the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had over the phone. If I could give zero stars, I would. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience absolutely warranted one. The woman who answered the phone on Monday evening sounded immediately irritated that I needed a tow — as if my call was an inconvenience. Her tone made it clear she didn’t want to help, and her attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. When I politely asked if she could place me on a waitlist while I tried to find another option, she made me feel stupid for not knowing the area (I just moved here) and then hung up on me mid-sentence. I even explained that I’d call back if I found help sooner, but she didn’t care. I was simply trying to get a tow so I could visit my grandma in the hospital before bedtime, and the lack of empathy and basic courtesy was appalling. No one deserves to be treated that way — especially by someone representing a company that people call when they’re already stressed and stranded.

I have worked with this company a few times and have always had great interactions with everyone. They are quick and take care of my vehicles.

No one even called them to tow my car. "it's our right to tow your car" You cannot make someone sign something before you release their car saying they can’t dispute charges. Holding my car hostage to make me sign something does not constitute a willing contract between two parties. Good luck in court class action coming your way. Worst company ever have a handicap placard and they towed my car and charged me 350$ for it out of my apartment complex. They literally drive around at midnight or early in the morning and look for cars to tow out of handicapped spot like some sort of extortionists. See you in court. The picture they provided doesn't even have a tow sign in it. All that's shown is a handicap parking sign warning of a 250 dollar fine not a tow sign. That sign for a fine is in the picture but not the tow sign and that's all they have proof of. This company is operated by greedy scumbags.

0/5 Stars – Predatory, Unlawful, and Intimidating This tow truck company operates like a criminal enterprise. Out of six cars parked on the same red curb at my apartment complex (with no signage designating it as a fire lane), they targeted and towed the only luxury vehicle. This is blatant predatory towing, not legitimate enforcement. When I arrived to retrieve my car, they immediately locked me inside their yard, closing the gate behind me. That is false imprisonment under Nevada law. After I paid their outrageous and likely unlawful fee, they then blocked my car in with two tow trucks and a forklift in an attempt to intimidate me further. Their actions were not only unprofessional but clearly coercive and unsafe. This company is in violation of Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS 706 & NRS 487), which govern towing procedures, signage requirements, and release of vehicles. They ignored these laws, denied me fair treatment, and used harassment as a tactic to deter me from challenging their practices. I am filing formal complaints with the Nevada Transportation Authority, the Better Business Bureau, and my local city officials. If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is dangerous, unlawful, and should be investigated immediately.

This tow truck company is a predatory scam that thrives on exploiting residents. They target private properties that already suffer from severe parking shortages, then swoop in to make the problem worse. And let’s be clear, there is no signage at all designating it as a fire lane. This was not about safety, it was about profit. Their practices are dishonest, opportunistic, and shameful. They prey on communities where parking is already a nightmare, and then selectively target higher-end cars to maximize their payout. This company is the definition of predatory towing, and people need to be warned. This isn’t towing. It’s extortion.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I had the worst experience with "Jessie" he called himself, and the lady who took my call! I am handicapped, bad hips, knees, and Spine and I have a handicapped placard. The lot is almost always empty even during events where this tow company stalks at the Fountain House at Victorian Square, pretty obvious when the call goes in and somehow the tow guy is there in 2 minutes! Says so on the paperwork. They began to tow my car despite me being ADA and having my handicapped placard visible, same exact spot as last year that I was allowed to park without issues, only after I gave "Jessie" $156 did I get my car back (he said I was on his time now, and took his time despite my need to return to where I was volunteering, and made sure he was snarky, soulless the entire time, calling his company will do nothing for you but laughter on the other end, as they are ALL HEARTLESS folks who do NOT care if you're ADA or your husband is a disabled officer of the law (Jessie had a good laugh when I tried to explain all of this, I'm sure they hear a lot of excuses from folks, but NOTHING I said was an excuse), I'm absolutely disgusted and disappointed that a company like this would be so dismissive to ADA folks, but men and women of the law that may have been injured in the line of duty, they will NOT do anything but charge every dollar, no care about your disability, or that they took all of your money. My Truck engine failed on an out of town trip. I live in Boise Idaho and broke down in Winnemucca. I needed to have the truck towed to the factory dealer in Boise. The Tow Truck Company came thru for me. They charged a very reasonable fee and their service was great. Nathan was my technician/driver. He was very knowledgeable and could probably load the truck blindfolded. He was also a pleasure to make the drive with. A good family man with great stories of prior accidents/tows and knowledgeof the area. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about Ryan from The Tow truck Company!!! On a busy day during the fires he was still able to come save me after I had a tire blow out and my AWD system gave me a warning of overheating. He called me to let me know that he was on his way and when he got there it was a quick hookup and a few minutes later, after some nice chit chat on a clean truck, we were at my house. Ryan thanks for being there in a time of need!!! And thanks to The Tow Truck company for raising the standard of towing in northern Nevada!!

This company is nothing short of a legalized scam. They didn’t “tow” us — they hijacked our vehicle and held it for ransom like a bunch of blood-sucking vultures. Over $1,000 for what? A glorified parking shakedown and a smug receptionist who clearly gets off on people’s misfortune. They prey on people when they’re vulnerable, then smile while draining your wallet dry. No breakdown of charges. No compassion. Just a cold, calculated system designed to squeeze every last cent out of you. It’s disgusting. To the owners: You don’t run a business. You run a trap. And karma will collect, just like you did — except it won’t need a tow truck.

Found a half ripped off tow sticker stuck to my truck this morning. Called the # and they said it was a mistake. Thanks for that. Thanks for not even pretending to get the sticker off. Spent 30 minutes on my lunch break, scraping it off. There's still lots of glue. Great work, guys. UPDATE: I got another sticker this morning. This time, it says my truck is inoperable. Plus, they marked my tire with chalk (this is ILLEGAL, btw). So weird since I drive it everyday. I guess it was my fault for parking it overnight in the complex I live in. Shockingly, nothing was done about it when I called. Being wheelchair-bound and needing my truck to work and get to important doctor visits, this is so frustrating. Response: I did call that number and was told it was a mistake. I asked if the tow truck driver could come remove it the next day, and the dispatch said shed pass on the message. And nothing came of it.

UPDATE: They even came back when we moved the car to show it was operable and decided now it was expired tags and therefore feel entitled to tow our private property on OUR lot. Absolutely awful. // Towed our whole RV park for no reason when we are living here full time. We just don’t drive the tagged car during the summer because it has no AC and spiders around here decide to make their home on everything. They declared it “inoperable” and tried towing us. Our neighbor was towed with zero warning for parking in his own spot. Truly horrible company. Lady on the phone went from super friendly to really rude when I was asking about why they left a sticker AN HOUR afterward and basically turned her entire attitude from nice to aggressive just due to a question.

Towed a vehicle of a fairly new Nevada resident who hadn’t yet gotten their vehicle registered in Nevada and can’t get it registered in the state that their moving from because they no longer live there, would not accept paperwork from the finance company as proof of ownership was saying it to be the title even though we had finance paperwork on the car, we explained we had just moved here and he couldn’t get it registered in NV without it present. the lady on the phone was unhelpful and coped an attitude wouldn’t let us get our belongings. The company has not towed any other vehicle without a parking permit that is in this complex just that one particular vehicle… such a shady and shitty company!

If you are towed by this company I sincerely feel bad for you. My girlfriend parked her car in front of HER apartment with her complex’s permission, but this towing company was doing its “rounds” and towed her car. Not only that but Mary is quite possibly the worst in providing customer service and hung up on us over the phone, even making my girlfriend cry. Shortly after arriving there she even proceeded to curse us out and threatened to not let our car out POST-payment (this all stemmed from me asking her to be nicer). It got to the point I was considering calling the police. I am still appalled at the situation and hope to never have another run in with this company again.

My car was towed from property where it is legally registered to park and had the proper documentation to park where I was at night. Then when going to retrieve my vehicle the lady that charged me gives me my title, ID and CC and I ask her where my car is and she says “Idk go look for it” which made me extremely mad considering I was wasting my time being there anyway and they had us waiting 30 min to get my car out because another man decided to load two cars right in front of mine. This alone warrants a terrible review, but to add insult to injury, their negligence resulted in significant damage to my vehicle. Upon retrieving my car, I discovered that my splash guard had been completely ruined. It was clearly damaged during the towing process, demonstrating a shocking lack of care and professionalism from their drivers. This is not just an inconvenience; it's an additional cost and a testament to their destructive handling.

This company has no respect for neighboring businesses. They have been reported multiple times for parking both commercial and non commercial vehicles on the public road creating a dangerous nuisance and eye sore for all surrounding businesses.

My car was towed while shopping at Walmart they hadn't put up any signs or warnings about being towed if not shopping there. Not one sign, no event parking that I could find while I was shopping, they even towed a Walmart employee's car and he paid to get it back.. Not right, Hot Aug nights every year they never towed anyone. They definitely screwed up this Hot Aug nights for many people without due process, without signs, towing just some cars, not all... if they saw you cross 2nd Street apparently... that is still not a good reason to tow anyone without proper notice... not right, believe me there will be some court action taken on this... They did not even renew their state business license and had none when they towed stole all the cars at Walmart... this is through the secretary of state office... complain and take them to small claims court anyone who got their car stolen Aug 10th by these unlicensed people..... no signs, no license is a win win for anyone abused by this company.

We broke down just outside of Reno after, trying to get our roadside assistance coverage to help us out for 5 hours , I gave up and called this company. They were there within an hour and towed our truck and fifth wheel back to our campground in Reno. Billy and Chance did a fantastic job. Thank you

They saved our day! They communicated with us very well and got to us quicker than anticipated. Fair pricing when compared to other local towing. We had the pleasure working with Thomas Steere. He was professional and got us to our destination safely.
