Driving from Boise to California our car broke down in McDermitt OR, 70 miles from Winnemucca. I called a couple of shops in Winnemucca but they all said it would be a couple of days before they could get us in. I called Bosch and they said to get it towed in and they would look at it asap. When the car got to Bosch they got to it as soon as they could. They determined it was a relatively minor repair and got the car back on the road right away. Lee could have held us up for $k’s but charged us for an hour of labor only. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Lee while we waited. He was fair, honest, and friendly. His mechanic was excellent and friendly. I plan to buy my next car from Bosch. It’s worth the drive to deal with honest and reliable people. A very positive experience. Rich

We were on a two week trip in our fifth wheel and just outside of Winnemucca Nevada and got a warning light for fuel filters ( contamination) and it was just minutes before 5:00. We called and explained our situation and these folks took us the first thing in the morning and got us back on the road immediately. We can't thank you enough for the excellent and very fairly priced service and would not hesitate to recommend family and friends. Thank you again!

Traveling from Kansas to California we stopped in wimmemucca to camp at water canyon. After we parked we noticed a huge spot of liquid under the driver's side engine area... oh no. I googled mechanics and prayed we wouldn't be taken advantage of. The next morning we packed up early and drove to Bosch. They were busy but got us in for diagnostic right away. We were bracing for a new radiator... $750 to $1,500. Is what Google said it could cost. Added nights on the road.. everything loaded in our truck... Traveling with 4 dogs... this could be a huge bummer. The mechanics came back and said it was a broken radiator cap. Quick easy fix. $150 and we are back on the Road. THANK YOU to EVERYONE at Bosch! We were treated fair and they where extremely welcoming to our 4 dogs. The lady in the office even came out and gave them all treats. You guys made our day.

I bought a car here and Lee was super transparent throughout the entire process. He clearly takes pride in his work and makes sure the cars he sells are in the best shape possible. I highly recommend going here for repairs or if you need to buy a used vehicle from a trustworthy business.

Big thanks to Lee and the team! I was traveling through town when my wheel bearing failed. Bosh was the only place in town who would work on it. You can tell from listening to him interact with his customers he's as genuine as can be and will to help.

I would give 0 stars if I could , I walk in asking about a couple cars. The dude was rude saying “I don’t sell to out of towners” yeah clearly people in this town don’t even buy from there . Don’t go here , these cars look HORRID anyways .

I had a great experience here for a transmission service on my Honda. They made sure I got the right filter for my car in a timely manner and made sure to keep me informed! Great service and friendly staff!! I will definitely bring my car back for more services in the future!

100+ degree weather, road trip and had to make a stop in Winnemucca due to overheating issue. They got me in first thing in the morning and got me on my way by noon. Very personable, fair and nice guys there. Even gave me a ride back to hotel and came and picked me up at checkout. Now if only the rodeway inn had proprietors that were half as honest and fair the whole stop would have been better. Thanks Lee.

Our Jeep broke down in the middle of the desert on a Friday evening, Bosch was the only shop that said they were willing to help us out. We towed them our jeep right before they closed and they gave us the diagnosis and told us they had to order a new fuel pump and it would be ready by Monday. The owner let us drive his car for the weekend so we wouldn’t be stranded.

These guys went above and beyond for us. My wife and I were driving from Oregon to Arizona and had some brake issues and a bearing axle that needed replacement. They worked hard to get us back on the road quickly and were so generous with all of the assistance they gave us. Super appreciate it you all!

These guys will take care of you, they do everything. Excellent service, excellent price. They got my car fixed up great. The final cost was actually cheaper than the quote. They were also the only shop in town that was able to both tow my car and do the repairs. They did the general maintenance of my car, they replaced brakes and rotors, and on top of everything they were able to fix my badly damaged headlight. Thank you guys so much for helping me through this.

Found out this nice company if tows your car and your homeless takes money from the the nice taxpayers of winnemucca so they can get their cars back I being a taxpayer doesn't appreciate a company making money off me who struggles everyday to pay my own bills we all probably pay higher rates so they still make a profit. That wasn't my point you didn't tow my car but you used my money as a taxpayer with knowing about that's what's wrong with this country I have no say when social services uses money that just comes from taxpayer funding it is sad when the government feels I'm responsible for those who can't afford to pay still you should understand a lot of taxpayers are struggling to pay their bills right now so when we come up short the bank charges you fees or the payment is denied that's my point and sometimes you need to remind those that I work for the money they don't

My elderly parents were traveling through Northern Nevada when they experienced a mechanical problem with their pickup. I first called the local Ford dealer and was told it would be 5 days before they could look at the vehicle. Fortunately I then phoned Bosch Motors and spoke with Lee. I explained that they were being towed and he said he would be happy to look at the vehicle. In the mean time, I'm calling to make arrangements for a rental vehicle, and a motel thinking it would be a day or two before they got back on the road. To my and my parents surprise, Lee phoned them the same day (afternoon ) and said the pickup was fixed. He or his crew determined the front hubs had gone bad due my parents driving through flood waters the past winter. It's not every day that you receive service such as that provided by Lee and his staff. Job well done gentlemen.

Absolutely awful! I can’t believe it was so bad that I feel I have to warn people. I asked for a detail for my pick up inside and out. We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance and was told to bring it in at 7am. I started to wonder why I hadn’t heard anything by 4pm so I called only to be told that they would have it done by 9am the next day!!! I don’t live in town and they already had it for 10 hours!! I decided to just pick it up, what ever they got done was enough. When I got to my pick up it looked like it was wiped down with a rag I would score the inside a 79%. The out side was what they didn’t have time to do in the short 10 hours they had it. They did wash it, but it now has scratches on the door and the wind shield wiper was broke! How the hell that happened I will never know. When I went into the building I got a “welp sorry we didn’t get it done” Won’t be going back!

I became disabled just outside of Winnemucca and the Geico roadside contacted Bosch for the job. When I called to give them more information, Lee, the individual I spoke to, became very agitated and in no uncertain terms told me where to go and that they would not be filling the job and we could just find someone else and then he hung up on me. I called back only to be hung up on again. Please go anywhere else in town to get your vehicle towed. This is not a reputable organization run by mature professionals

Blew a ball joint on a pretty remote road in the area last winter. It was in the evening, snowing, and temps were dropping into the teens. AAA said it would take a few days to get to us (!) - Bosch made it in a few hours. They ordered a new ball joint in from Elko the next day, and it arrived and was installed the following day. While they said that you usually need to replace a CV axle after a ball joint fails, they told us it wasn’t necessary in this case. Apparently, because we were on fresh snow and just slid to a stop, it didn’t get damaged or even dirty. I think the only way things could have been quicker is if they’d had a replacement ball joint on hand. Can’t complain. I think a dishonest place would have told us the CV axle still needed to be replaced; I think these guys were honest and good. Mechanic definitely knew his stuff. Tow also seemed reasonable. If I had issues while in the area again, I would call these folks.

I work in Nevada and live in Virginia. If this had happened at home, I would have repaired it myself. 2001 Honda Accord. 4 cyl 5 spd. I drove it from VA to NV alittle over a year ago. I have traveled back and forth from Winnemucca to Reno to fly home, over that time, every 2 weeks. The car overheated while I was in town. It had roughly 321000 miles on it. I accessed the situation myself and it appeared to be a heater hose coming from the heater core back to the block. I did some research and decided on Bosch Motors. I drove the car there and told them what I thought it was they said they would take a look. This was right before the end of May and the holiday. I was told the next day it appeared to be a head gasket and they would do a compression test. They did and said it was bad. I was advised a rebuild would be 1800. I asked about a new motor. I was told 1200 if I supply the motor. So I supplied a motor and made arrangements to get home. We agreed after the motor showed up around June 4th that I would need the car completed by the 16th for my next ride to Reno to fly home. They said it should be done. I got back and when the 16th came it wasnt. So I had to make arrangements again to get home. This time didn't go as well but I made it there and back. I called a few days before my return and they said it was ready. Just shy of a month. I paid them just over 1600 for parts and labor. One of those parts was a bad bad heater hose. How odd. Anyways it wouldn't rev past 4k rpm in any gear or neutral. Also had a slow pulsating idle. I was told they would fix it and I took it back the next day. We are now basically at a month on this. Holiday to holiday. So after the 4th of July they still had not got it fixed. I had arguements about the motor being right for the car. I finally called and told them I would just pick it up. About two hours later they called back and it was fixed. The entire process was exhausting and lengthy. They take their time and I am not sure they know what they are doing on certain types of cars. Lee I believe is the owner. He was always nice as were I. Based off of my experience there I will not return. There are other reviews of them being slow. I should have listened to those. I am just one customer in many they have had over the years. This is just my experience with them.

charged me $120 for nothing. I can't say enough bad stuff about this place. Was told that if I brought my vehicle in they could get to it in a couple of days. It took 2 weeks before anyone even looked at it. And I only found out that someone finally started to look at the vehicle because I called. In fact, EVERY time I got any information from them, I had to call. That's right, nobody ever took the professional courtesy to call me. So after they felt they had identified the problem, I was told the part would be in the following Monday. So I called I Tuesday because of course they didn't call me on Monday. No part. Called Wednesday, no part. Called Thursday, was told, no part, and we don't know when we can get it. So now I'm out of my vehicle about 3- 3.5 weeks and it still isn't fixed. So now I have to have it towed @200 miles home to someone who can, and will fix it. All and all, Im out about $400 to have my vehicle still out of commission. Worst mechanic experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor. If your vehicle breaks down in winnemucca, get it towed somewhere else because I found out all the shops in that town are like this.

Great place for an affordable used car. Andreas hooked me up. Called the owner and dropped $1000 off the price for a cash deal. Very friendly, happy, and stayed late the next day so I could go pick up paperwork. Never got to meet the dog though.

Thank you to Bosch Motors who let me stay with my car when they were trying to find the issue. Especially thanks to Carlos who did a thorough assessment. He listened to me when I said ,'Yes that's it! When he was tapping different areas. A quick easy fix and we were on our way. You saved the day Carlos! 5 stars!

Fabulous people. It's a small business and the owner is just like you'd expect from a friendly outdoorsmen right down to the friendly dog that loves everyone. The shop got my water pump replaced quicker than I would have been able to do it myself had I had the tools. The price was perfectly reasonable and talking about some of their hunting adventures made the time pass. I make it a point to stop in and say hello whenever I drive through. I have a very hard time believing that the people that got attitude from anyone at this place didnt walk into their door with an attitude to start with or had unreasonable demands instead of a conversation. All I can say is that I could see how someone not wanting to hangout with a dog may want a place to sit without some hair. Small price to pay for exceptional service, quality, and knowing you're supporting a hard working group of people.

Thank you, Lee! My boyfriend and I were driving from Reno to Salt Lake City when we broke down (fortunately made it to Winnemucca). Lee was able to overnight the part (transfer case) and get us back on the road within 24 hrs. Great service with a friendly and accommodating atmosphere. If you ever have a problem with your vehicle, take it to Bosch Motors.

If you need service or repairs for your vehicle this is the place to go. Lee will get the job done the first time and at a fair price. It's the only place I take my GMC diesel truck. 250,000+ miles and going strong.

The team at Bosh Motors saved my bacon when I got stranded on a cross country roadtrip. They had me in and out in less than 24hours. Respectful, friendly and helpful. Their shop dog is a sweetheart, and my cousin made an instant friend our of her..

I went to this place to order a part I needed for my van. They were as slow as molasses. The place is filled with hunting photos and two very large moose heads. It is also very dirty and there is nowhere to sit without getting dirt or dog hair on you. The people were what I would call semi-friendly. Not really grouchy or unfriendly but not the most friendly I have seen. If I had been in a bigger town and had more choices, I would not return to this place. As it is, it is probably the best source for Chevy and GM parts that you cannot get at an auto parts store.

My 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport had the engine go out while I was relocating from Missouri to California. 30+ hour drive and my nerves were fried. The tow guy Steve was awesome made me feel comfortable and a little better by cracking jokes and keeping me talking after I knew my engine was a goner. Lee the owner of Bosch was super friendly explained he would do his best to fix it and within my price range. It did take a couple months but he did have to relocate a whole new engine for me. Finally a couple months later I get the cal its fixed and ready. I was scared to know the price but when he told me it was literally 2K lower than I had figured. They also drove it for a few days and put it through its paces so we all could have piece of mind that it would be ok. Let me tell you! I drove it from Bosch motors to Rohnert Park California and my SUV has never ran this good!! Lee and his team did an amazing job from rescuing me on the side of the road to fixing my car. I cant thank them enough and suggest anyone who needs a tow or a car worked on in the area to go and visit Lee and his team!

This company was great! They really helped us out when we needed them most. The tow driver was super nice and dropped us off at a hotel. Working with the owner to solve our car troubles was easy. A great company to work with if you ever break down in Winnamucca.

I needed a tow on a Sunday, one place was closed, one told me to call back 4 hours later to see if they "might" be able to come get us and Bosch was there within half an hour! It was a difficult job and they took care of it no sweat and gave a whole truck load of us a ride not only to town but to a hotel as well. They were very quick and super friendly.
