I had yet another really good experience here. Booked my appointment online, which is so convenient. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and got a full inspection, too. The inspection showed two things, one that didn't surprise me, so they took care of that at the same time and another that I need done, but not right away. I really appreciate their service. JD was professional, kind and helpful. He showed me pictures and explained things in an easy to understand but not condescending manner and applies no pressure to do unnecessary work. I appreciate the honesty and care provided here, and that's why it's my go-to place for reliable maintenence.
I brought my car here because I took it to the dealership for an oil change and they gave me a list of things that needed to be done. I brought it here cause I wanted a second opinion and felt like the dealership was way overpricing me. JD was awesome and super helpful! I actually have trust for this company now vs the dealership for sure!
I appreciate the inspection reports provided each time I bring my car in for work. Helps to keep a safe car on the road and prevent having a car break down on the side of the road.

My truck broke down first thing in the morning. Somehow Sunrise got me in and fixed same day! They did a quick and accurate diagnostic, followed up quickly with a quote. They had to replace my fuel pump and I had them do a few other maintenance items at the same time. I would absolutely recommend them!
These guys actually charged me for a vapor canister that they didn’t install charging me $500. I took my truck in to see why it was stalling and they gave me a list of things that needed to be replaced, so I told them to get it done. The check engine light never went off and the truck started stalling again. I took it to Auto Zone to see why the light is still on and yep the VAPOR CANISTER. I bought one from eBay for $150 installed it myself in twenty minutes and the trucks running fine. So basically I got SCAMMED! Here’s pics of the canister I took off all dirty and grimy, mind you it’s on top of the spare tire bolted underneath the bed of the truck. It should look brand new. This is bad business! $500 don’t fall off trees.
I came in because my A/C was blowing hot air and they had exceptional reviews so I thought I’d give them a try. They didn’t disappoint. I was greeted warmly and professionally and they explained everything that needed to be done. Great service.
Great and seamless process to replace my front drivers side tire still under warranty. Staff were professional and transparent about the warranty and how it applied to my situation, ie., the night before, on my way home on dark street, I ran over some glass that partially cut the tire near the side wall. Sun auto picked up my new tire from another shop and completed to switch in 45 min.
Absolute ROBBERY! They charged me $575 to change the window switches on my truck. The part costs $25 on Amazon with one single electrical plug. Unfortunately, I was pressed for time and had to get it done ASAP. So they charged me $550 for labor to unplug it and plug in the new one. I will never go back to this place.
I came to Sun Auto Service for a battery replacement. They were able to fit me in almost immediately. The service was performed quickly and was completed in about 20 minutes and my interactions with the staff were friendly and professional.
This review is from something that happened two summers ago. BUT I chose to leave it late because I wanted to make sure they were wrong. We took our Chrysler there for a/c problems. They told us we had 3 different leaks and the compressor was out and a total of just under 3k to fix it. We said um that doesn't sound right. So we took it to WRENCH IT MECHANICS which is a place a lot of WOMEN I know go to. They put ink in our lines told us there was not one leak our compressor was fine our a/c just needed freon and a charge. Walked out with a bill less then $300. Two summers later our a/c in the car is still blowing colder then ever.
I have been going to this location for a few years now and the service is always wonderful! The guys are super helpful and nice, and the pricing is fair. Sometimes they have a shop dog in there who greets you and wants lots of pets. I recommend this place to anyone needing car services’s.
they tried to charge me $1,000 to fix my AC fan… just the fan. after they charged me over $200 to figure out what was wrong with the AC. told them i was going to get it fixed elsewhere and immediately they told me they could drop the price for me to have them do it. got it fixed for $240 ($90 for the part and $150 for the labor). actually scammers don’t come here unless you like wasting your money. only thing i’ll give them is i didn’t have to wait for them to see me but neither did the other place
JD was great. I called him the evening before with possibly needing new tires for my Camper Van. I went there the next morning and had my vehicle by 10:30 AM.

You need a more happy, smiley, friendly, person at front counter. The person you have at the desk does not seem like he likes his job or he has a lot on his mine. I just didn't get that friendly vibe from him. He was more like a robot going through the emotions. I will back probably one more time and see if you are listening to these comments. Customer satisfaction is a big thing now days.
I love how all the employee there are super nice, most especially the service dog! Super nice and friendly environment. Everyone is so knowledgeable in what they do. I was recommended by someone who just had his AC done, and I will definitely do the same.
Good honest shop. Was too lazy to go into my doors and replace the window regulators. They got the part and fixed it same day, even though I came in pretty late. One of the windows was just disconnected and I know a lot of shops would have lied about that and charged for something else.
The guys here were great! They helped me with so many options. Great customer service. Fast and easy to get new tires. I recommend this place x1000!!! Grateful for them
I had a loud noise in my car and concerned about its safety to drive. I took it to Sun Auto and they found the problem and fixed it quickly. They had a special on tires but hadn’t heard of the brand, however, I decided to have those tires put on my car. Needless to say, the tires are great——very low road noise and a good ride. Thanks Sun Auto. I’m a senior and put my trust in them.
JD Harrison was such a great guy and good service rep. Dropoff and pickup process was smooth and quick, in and out. They were able to look at my problem SAME DAY with no appointment needed, after calling in advance and wanting a quote for a repair. After dropping it off, the inspection report I received was so detailed and in depth, complete with pictures as proof of areas they recommended to repair. I came in for an AC service because even with a recharge, my 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer wasn't blowing cold and not only did they find the issue (leaking valves and need a new compressor) but they also were able to inspect other parts of my car like my wheels and brakes. When I was advised about the price of the repair, it was a little too much for my budget but JD went above and beyond and worked with his manager to find a solution that worked for me. I would 10/10 recommend them for anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic, and my AC is blowing colder than ever. Thanks JD! Oh, did I mention the repair was done SAME DAY with a dropoff at 12pm and pickup at 5:30pm? They're quick!
First time at Sun Auto. Everything seems good. Previous auto repair shop would have charged $400 more for the same work. I can walk to Sun Auto in 20 minutes. Lucky me
Sun Auto has taken great care of my car to keep it running in top shape. The staff is friendly and they take the time to explain when I have questions about recommended services. I highly recommend them for your car needs!
I would not recommend coming here. They put the wrong discs on my car and caused my brake pad to break off while driving. I ended up getting this repaired by a family friend and they refused to take any accountability because I didn't immediately bring my car back to them first.
The reason I didn't is because I had brought my car a week before because my car was not braking well and they said the brakes were fine and blamed the struts. Also they quoted almost 3k for struts and shocks which is insane for the type of job it is.
The manager decided to also tell me that he wouldn't even look at it unless I brought him a receipt from another shop which I didn't have because a family friend had repaired the issue.
I've posted pictures of the discs they used which are the ones that look more bronze. And I've posted a picture of the correct ones. You can clearly tell there's a big difference. I also have a picture from before the service that shows that the pads I had before their service were the same type I ended having to get again after their service failed. You can clearly see the correct ones are wider and have 2 pieces of metal with the gap between. The ones they had put on are not as wide so the brake pad is not hitting them correctly which eventually caused my brakes to fail while driving. Then they insisted they used the correct ones because their computer said so. But if you look up my car on autozone you will get the correct disc/rotor recommendation and not the garbage they put on
I should sue this place but it's really not worth my time.
Really disappointed because I was a loyal client before this incident.

Also the manager is a total idiot who just kept repeating "bring me the receipt". I had the receipt of their bad service but they wanted the receipt of a shop I never went to since I got this fixed by a friend.

Great place to take your car for maintenance and tires. Very reasonable prices, everything is explained to you with pictures. Very friendly and transparent. It’s my go to for my regular maintenance and I also just got 4 new tires and alignment done for a great price while I waited. Highly recommended
Exceptional service and timely repairs. They contacted my extended warranty service claims center, detailed every part and item made sure the repairs and parts needed were covered. Completed all repairs within 24 hours. This was a major repair list from AC to shocks, struts, control arms and alignment. All completed in a timely manner. Communication was excellent. I have using Sun Auto on Tropicana for years. It’s the trust you put into the management and the technicians for your vehicle needs.
