I wasted my time going down to buy a battery I spoke to a woman who not friendly but rude then I go there she changed the pricing and the guy who was going to install it said since he didn’t think I wanted the job done .
I don’t recommend this place to any one there are better people who are friendly and you can get better service .
Bought a battery from Shelton for my 2013 Honda Accord coupe in 2021. It's still good over 4 years later somehow. Usually my batteries only last a little over 2 years in the Vegas heat! 5 stars.

We live off grid, and we’ve had a dying battery for a couple weeks now, and it finally went out… on the same day I was able to call them, find out they had the same battery type, and was quoted a great price. We showed up and were in and out quickly. Our house now has power again and I’ve got nothing but gratitude for Shelton Battery
These people are honest and have good batteries there. I have been buying and referring all my clients and friends for over 10 years. I will not buy from anyone else. USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!
I bought the battery one year and had to leave Nevada because my husband passed away. I called them and told them the battery is not charging and have to buy a new one. They told me that I would have to bring the battery back. I moved back to Illinois and they said we can’t do anything about it. People today are just awful and will not help people at all. Tell your friends and family not to go to this place. One more thing they sold me the wrong battery for my car too.
Great service with good follow-up! We special ordered a pair of Trojan 31-AGM Overdrive batteries to replace our chassis batteries in our Class A RV. It only took a day to have them available and the office kept us informed throughout the order/shipment/ready to pick up process. Nobody else gives such great customer service!

I absolutely love Shelton Battery! I had to replace my battery today, after having a battery from Shelton that I purchased almost 3 years ago! They are so kind, fast and beyond affordable. You get more than your money's worth, and even when stuck at another popular chain retailer, I chose to drive to Shelton instead to purchase a replacement battery, and happy I did. I was in and out in under 7 minutes, and they made sure my alternator was ok and not a problem.

Excellent. The gentleman who changed my battery was professional, quick and courteous aside from informative. The price was much much much better than auto zone and similar places. Would use them again for sure. Great service.
If I could I’d give a 0 star rating! So Rude! This place has horrible customer service skills. I live about 10 minutes away, they close at 5 and it was 4:45 on a Friday. I specifically called this place and asked if I could really quickly run in and grab a battery, I knew exactly what I was getting and one of the girls said they would wait for me since they’re closed for the weekend and I wouldn’t be able to get it until Monday. Again they told me they would wait for me and I had to pay card not cash because it was right before closing. I got down there at 4:58 and one of the guys kicked me out told me they’re closed, I told them I was the one who called and said you guys said you would wait for me, and he pretty much told me too bad you need to get out. It’s was 4:58 grabbing one thing in knew exactly what I was getting, technically they’re still open, but I still got refused service. This place is a joke.
Purchased a used battery, Appeared to reconditioned well, labels are removed think it came with 30 day warranty, it was installed for free and the terminals were cleaned and old battery was removed for free (no core charge). Pretty straight forward process.. I'd buy another from them.. probably will for my truck..
Got my used battery. Customer service was a ZERO. I went in with my 3 kids and husband and I (the wife) went to go pay with my debit card and was yelled at by the man at the counter where they have the computers at to “GO PAY AT THE WINDOW!” my oldest child is 9! Youngest 5! Paid $50 for a used battery. Reasonable prices. Bad service. I’ll be going elsewhere next time.
Steven installed our battery in about 10 minutes. Prices for refurbed batteries are fantastic. If you are on a serious budget, please stop here. They also have a 90 day warranty. It’s located right behind the Rio. Support your local business!
Shelton Battery is the only place I go to for refurbished batteries. Went in, they checked my car out, paid, got my battery installed in exactly 5 minutes and was good to go! Robert was really nice too! Friendly staff and they have great prices, way to go!
I have a 90 day warranty on my reconditioned battery and when I get I come back to get a brand new battery, I only pay the difference. Trust me, don’t go anywhere else.
I love to support Mom & Pop shops!! It's the American Way!! Customer 30+yrs. Reconditioned batteries for my truck & van are about $45. Usually keeps 'em going at least 2-3yrs. Friendly customer service, usually greeting me outside at my vehicle.
Great prices very friendly but I don't think it's very professional to put political signs and stickers in the customers view, I don't want to see what political party or candidate you're voting for I'm there to give you business and possibly be a future customer. Besides that the store was cleaned I arrived 30 mins before they closed on a Friday so I understand everyone being tired and not having energy to write my receipt promptly. I think it took the one guy longer to do my receipt than it did the other guy to give me the battery and clean it For me
Robert was kind of quick and very professional to check my battery fully tested and replace it free of charge because it was still within warranty. These are fantastic people to work with and I recommend highly buying a battery from here. They have great prices and their staff is awesome
I brought bunch of old batteries to recycle and recoup some of the long term investment. I was quoted one price when batteries where on my truck but after they unloaded the batteries and when it was time to pay they significantly reduced the price they were willing to pay (down to 8 cents a pound from 10 cents a pound they promised initially). The employee’s explanation was that it was boss’ call to reduce the offer. It left a really bitter taste and will not do business with them anymore. The cashier was super rude when I tried to complain about the bait and switch.
Zero stars since it was a nasty move on their part.
My husband, who is a black man went into this store to buy a very common battery. To keep it short he said he felt invisible. Waited while several patrons were helped before him who had obviously come in after he did, staff all the while knowing he had been waiting. When finally they got to him he asked if they had 2 very common batteries, guess what, they supposedly didn't have them. Took his business elsewhere as he should of. My husband never complains about anything, so I know he had to have been pretty blatantly ignored to say something. Horrible service and the staff should be ashamed. Zero stars from us.
