Service is getting so bad that "bulk day" for residential (on the schedule on their website) doesn't even happen anymore. Trash can dumped and left laying on its side out in the street... and the "bulk" trash left behind so I have to pick it back up and fill the can before I even bring it back up to the house. What's the point of having a "bulk" pick up, causing residents to do yard work on certain weeks in preparation, and then just leave it in the street? This company is full of pompous people who act put out that they even have to do their job. From the transfer station workers to the drivers to the office people... they act like they're waiting for a job opening at the DMV... the only place that you can do less and act more disgruntled about your job. It's like a bunch of teenagers who are angry if they have to look up from their phone for 5 minutes to load the dishwasher. And guess what? Fixing the issue is out of the question, because everyone is forced to use the service and nobody wants to do anything... so we all just have to deal with it.

The five stars is for Rodney in customer service. If it wasn’t for him I would give a negative score. He helped with a trash can exchange that was botched by so many others. He was knowledgeable and had above and beyond follow up making sure that the issue was taken care of. Before communicating with him, I was extremely unhappy with this company.

Republic services is pretty bad. They are supposed to pick up bulk garbage every couple of weeks but they never do. They always leave bulk garbage behind. Also, they are not very careful about the way that they flip and tip cans. There’s garbage all over the neighborhood and it looks horrendous. The only reason why there is garbage and litter all over our neighborhood is literally because of Republic service and how carelessly they gather trash. Looking through these terrible reviews, my only comfort is knowing that I’m not the only one that feels this frustration. It’s truly disgusting. We are better off of burning our own landfill than relying on this company. I believe it’s time for formal complaint to our local government officials to do something about the way that we are being treated. Update 7/8: I have come to expect a slop job for me to clean up every week after Republic blows through. Today I had to clean up shattered glass and food waste from the front of my driveway. All my trash is properly bagged, so I don’t get how this even happens. You would think flipping a trash can was rocket science.

Very bad service...I called to inquire why my trash wasn't pick up on trash day...and I was told somebody will pick up my trash the next day...guess what? Nobody came to pick up my trash ...still outside ...why do I pay for this service...this company is a joke...

Republic Services has to be the absolute worst company to deal with in Las Vegas and sadly, we don’t have a choice because they have monopolized waste management. I have (on video) records of multiple drivers passing right by my carts as well as my neighbors. They have also backed into my carts, knocking them over my cart and driving right by. When I call to complain, nothing is done. I pay my quarterly service and I’ve never been late. I don’t understand why it’s that difficult to just DO YOUR JOB. Maybe if enough people complain about it, something can be done but until then we are just screwed into paying for services that are never fulfilled.

Driver of Republic Services stop at my house....and urinated on my home wall! I called RS in Phoenix and reported this to customer service. They were shocked....and later "Hope" from the RS HDQR's called and said the matter was resolved....and it will never happen again! But, guess what? Today I got a call to my private cell phone number from the Driver who urinated on my property! The call came from Republic Services number here in Vegas. I hung up on the driver! He called right back! I hung up again! How did he get my private number? So it appears that Republic Services gave my number to the weirdo driver to harass me on purpose! I'm making a police report concerning these low class fools who support terrorizing their own customers! Republic Services is a joke .......and they won't support their customer.......they will actually "come after with you ...and try to intimidate you!

On bulk day I had my mattresses wrapped in plastic as required but they were not picked up. So I called and I was told that the driver would submit a report as to why they were not picked up and someone should get back with me by 6:00 pm. 6:00 pm came around and no call, so I called and I was told that they close at 5:00 pm which made me mad as I feel I was lied to so I asked that a manager call me back and I was informed that I should get a call the next day between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm. I live in a HOA and I can be fined for leaving these mattresses out for any length of time.

Truly can't stand this company. For the years I had service, constant missed pick ups or they wouldn't empty the bin all the way. Finally move and cancel services with them. Ended up over paying and will have to wait 6-8wks for a check to be mailed! I have my acct linked for direct payments but that's not how they do refunds...

I’ve had my recycle bin outside for 2 weeks now and will a little extra cardboard that doesn’t fit in the trash can and with the high winds it blew over them workers don’t get out of their trucks or even stop to let me pick it up. I pay for a service that doesn’t get done why am I paying for lazy drivers

Piss poor service. Drivers attempting 20 point turns in the cudisac instead of backing out / turning around and picking up the cans on the opposite site of the street (every time they do this they miss my bin). Called customer service and filed missed pickups on the Republic website. All I get is lip service and apologies. THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Republic- don't respond with your automatic BOT apologizing and wanting the opportunity to address the problem offline. Check your website missed pickups, all the info is there. DO YOUR JOB! Update 3/2/2024- I called Rebublic customer service on the day they fail to pick up my recycling. I was "promised" they would send a truck to pick up with that day (SAT) or Monday at the latest. DID NOT HAPPEN!!. Requested a missed pick-up on the app and posted this review to Google. As you can see in the review Republic Service wanted to take the discussion offline, which I entertained. Again they committed to get the recycling picked up during the week. DID NOT HAPPEN!! We all pay for this Monopoly trash service, it is about time Republic starts listening to this customer base (customer satisfaction) and get someone in place who will deliver quality service and true customer support (not lip service).

This company really is trash. Rude employees and terrible customer service. No one files complaints when they say they do, and my garbage keeps getting skipped. The residents of this city pay for this service. We expect the services to be provided.

I called twice to have them pick up a mattress. Twice they failed to show up!!! These people can’t do their job and always have an excuse why they don’t show up or refuse to do the job they’re being paid to do. If I performed my job like these incompetent fools I wouldn’t have a job!!! No matter what they tell you over the phone don’t expect them to actually show up and pick up the trash. They will leave it sitting in front of your house for days! Morons!!!

Horrible employees. Horrible services. Horrible everything. Do better. They have no respect for anybody's home or property. Throw the bins around and break them. Customerr service is awful, except for one of the girls in the actual office. Oh yeah and they will put a lien on your home without warning so make sure you write down exactly when to pay the bill. Don't bother asking for a manager, they're useless and on a power trip. The manager tried to get the nice girl fired for telling us about the lien. I think we were like 2 months delinquent or something like that. Not on purpose, we never received the paper bill and we're not using electronic back then. A total disappointment.

I would give zero stars if I could. This company has lived up to their expertise: They are TRASH. I called a week ago to get a trash can delivered to us. They said it would get delivered on the next trash day (A week later). Well that day came and no trash can was delivered. I called them to ask what happened and they said apparently the order was not put in, it just shows that I called. They said they apologized and put in an expedited order for a trash bin to get here on Thursday (11/3) or Friday (11/4) which is today and that if there were any issues/questions they would call me to let me know ahead of time. The rest of the week passes and I came home to NO NEW TRASH BIN. I called for the third time to ask what was going on and they said it seems they could not expedite the trash can and I would get a new one next week (Tuesday the 8th). I told them I was told I was going to get a call if there were any issues or concerns on the expediting and they didn't say anything. This is ridiculous. I've called too many times in different weeks to get a bin delivered. Now I have WEEKS worth of trash piling up because they don't know how to put an order in. I'm forced to stop recycling and to now use my recycling bin as my only trash bin until they figure out how to put my order in.

Regular trash driver knocked recycle can over. Drove away and left it. Fortunately I was home to pick it up. While I realize we are just paying costumers this is just not right

I called Republic on 8/10/22 after having to replace my water heater to determine if they would pick up the bad unit. I was informed they would pick it up and water heaters are an exception to the 50 pound bulk weight limit. I put it out on my curb on 8/22/22 which was my next bulk pick up day. I was outside when the truck arrived with 2 people. They looked at the water heater and said they would not take it as it was over 50 pounds and drove off. I immediately called the office and they opened a case number (153446236) and said they would reschedule pickup for the next day (8/23/22). The item has not been picked up. I just called the item again and I was told the dispatcher cancelled the case because the water heater is over 50 pounds. Republic states they pick up water heaters but there is not a single water heater manufactured that is less than 50 pounds. This unit is about 100 pounds, has been drained of all water and has been placed at the curb per their instructions. Complete nonsense as Republic states they will pick something up and then refuse to do so when they arrive. EDIT: 8/26/22 - Based on the response from Republic below, I emailed their customer service with the case number and there has been no contact or resolve. So much for customer service!
